Gee, i thought more people were into the games. ANyway, today is the day when the commonwealth games start! The opening ceremony is on a little bit later on this evening, were the queens Baton will be passed on to the queen (who started it off!) who will read the commonwelth games message (that SHE wrote!). Then, the games will begin!

I too have tried to do this. You can get a good idea and photo of the entire ride by taking a photo off the 3rd lift hill on El diablo. Otherwise, have a look at the umwebsite, maby they may have something.

Ok, Since the Commonwealth Games are just 2 games away, i have decided to make a commonwealth games thread, since a live in Melbourne. Wednesday is the opening ceremony, and i should think that it will be an amzing display of fireworks, and 'cultural' dancing. Then, on Thursday, the games will begin. 71 nations will compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, in Athletics, Badminton, Baseketball, Boxing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Hockey, Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby 7's, Shooting, squash, table tennis, Triathlon, swimming, Diving, Synchronised swimming and weightlifting. In Manchester, Australia topped the medal tally. Lets hope they do it again!

^ does sound stupid and crazy, but it could actually make a tonne of money! I would buy it (if it worked on an ipod shuffle!)
