After spending five days at WDW back in October, I've felt sort of "Disneyed out," but after reading your GREAT report, Jahan, and the girls' report from their trip on Saturday, and the fact that I haven't been to any parks since I was in Florida, I think I'm starting to get the itch to go. ^ Actually, they've opened at 10am since 1971, with the exception of special events. And for a few years in the early-to-mid '70s, they had 9am opening times with midnight closing times. Eric

I have to admit that the picture of Revolution's loop with the Sky Tower in the background was a classic amusement park shot, photo-wise. Now with part of Tatsu in the area, it does kind of spoil that shot. Not to take away from Tatsu, but they did have to use that area to fit the ride in. Actually I'm surprised that all of that land sat unused for so long. Eric

Earlier today, I looked at SFMM's operating hours, and noticed that during midweek operation, the park won't open till 10:30am instead of its usual 10am. Now that you've mentioned some rides having an 11am opening time, it appears to be one way of cutting back on costs on SFMM's part, that is, rides operating as much as an hour less on certain days. They've been planning this name change for awhile. When I first heard it about the middle of last year, I figured that the park would finish the 2006 season with its current name, then take on the new one for 2007. They're right on schedule... Eric
