Yep. Like it? Nope. Does your street run north and south?

"Only in America do people order a double cheese burger, large fries, and a diet coke." (Airtime&Gravity) That's along the same lines as the fact that only in America do people keep their worthless junk in the garage and leave the expensive car outside in the weather. Eric

No. Have you ever been to Oxnard?

I'm going to have a nice fresh set of sheets on the bed tonight! That always helps me sleep better for some reason. Eric

I made popcorn earlier tonight. Eric

^^ That's part of the reason why I haven't been to PGA since 1999. Besides Stealth (about which I've heard more bad than good and never rode anyway), the park hasn't had any major rides put in. So for me, there's no incentive to drive 400 miles to visit. Eric -
Regarding Colossus, I think the park ought to invest in some nice new two-bench PTC trains to replace those 20-year-old Morgans. Then the park could run one side forward and one backward and it wouldn't matter which trains they use because they could run the PTCs either way---provided they got the four-wheeled ones. When SFMM ran Colossus backward in the early-to-mid-'80s with the old three-bench PTCs, that was a blast! Eric "Has ridden both of SFMM's woodies backwards" L.

I don't think Great America has put anything in GL's old spot. Also, as I said, SFDK is at least as far from PGA as SFMM is from Knott's, so the two parks having similar rides shouldn't be a problem (at least in my opinion). Eric -

Who knows? Maybe it'll end up at Knott's or Great America to replace Greased Lightning. Yeah, SFMW---er, SFDK---has V2, but they're not any further apart than SFMM with its Batman--The Ride and Knott's with its Silver Bullet. Eric -
^ True, the trains were part of the problem. Interesting how revered B&M rides are, but the only set of wooden coaster trains they ever built were crap. However, maybe SFMM will keep them in storage for use on Colossus during Fright Fest. Without their "regular" ride, they'll have no other use. Eric

I have not even tried Vista as of yet, so I can't comment as to whether it's good or bad. But I always get a kick out of people who have to be "the first on their block" to have the latest stuff. Who knows how well Vista will run? No doubt there'll be a bug or fix sometime soon. Microsoft says they'll support XP till April 2009, so I have some time. Eric

Yes. Do you tango?

Of all of these, the only one I've ridden is La Vibora, but I rode it when was the Sarajevo Bobsleds at SFMM. Great concept, though I'm sure the Mack version (like at PKI) is better. One day I'd like to get to Knoebel's and ride their bobsled---er, Flying Turns! Eric

No, not as a rule. But I have a couple of times. Do you spend your change as opposed to saving it in a big bottle or jar?

PHOTO TR: The Circus, Kennedy Space Center and a Cruise!
ebl replied to disneyfan1313's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Next time I go to Florida, I want to visit the Kennedy Space Center. It looks quite interesting. Reed, your pictures of the Space Center reminded me that I should do a Photo TR of the Reagan Library now that the Air Force One pavilion is open. I had a casino job out there last week and got to walk through the plane. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera because I didn't think I'd get a chance to do that. But the library complex is only about 15 miles from home, so it's easy to go over there. I also want to take a cruise someday. A Disney cruise would be great! Eric
