Fun day at SFMM today. And Diana decided to attend a dinner this coming Saturday where I will receive an award. I thought that was nice of her. Eric

Yes, many times. Did you see any airplanes today?

Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread
ebl replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ Good to hear. That Rio del Tiempo is the most WTF ride in that park. Eric -
X was running, but I don't care for it, so I didn't ride. Eric

The girls ran off for the day, so I decided to get out myself. I'll be brief, especially because I spent less than three hours there. Strange for a Saturday, but there was hardly anyone at the park. In order, I did all of this: Walked onto Revolution. Had a one-train wait on Tatsu. Used the single-rider line on Déjà Vu and waited for one train. Took my last look at Psyclone intact (and enjoyed it). Walked onto Gold Rusher. Had a three-train wait on Riddler's. Two-train wait on Batman. Went over to Scream! and had it break down when I was one train away (they never did get it going again). Waited three trains for Goliath before leaving. Not too shabby. The End. Eric

^^ ALASKAN MALAMUTE!!! We have a husky, and yes, they're similar. Ours is female and has one brown eye and one blue one. (I'll have to get a picture and post it.) Nice Photo TR, though, Pete. I'll bet that trailer was comfy in its heyday. Sometimes I think something like that would be ideal to have to go camping in. I'm not much of a camper, but that's due to being uncomfortable in a tent and roughing it. Trailer = much better. Eric

"I think it's quite an accomplishment when you get Dan to post in your thread." (WillMontu) And you get me, too, as an extra added bonus. But more and more parks are offering sugar free/low carb stuff. Do ask in restaurants and shops. Most workers are more than happy to help you. Epcot does have their sugar free cheesecake (Dan got me a piece when we were there in October---good stuff!), and sometimes you can find sugar free or no sugar added ice cream. All the walking you'll do at a park will help as well. I don't know whether you're taking insulin or doing pills, but do be sure to take those as prescribed. (You, of course, already know that...) Bottom line: you'll be fine. Eric

No, but my wife gets those occasionally. Do you have high credit card bills?

Has anyone ridden both X and Eejanaika?
ebl replied to ebl's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ That is a nice page, only I couldn't read it. One obvious difference is that Eejanaika's trains have only five cars, thus reducing the overall weight of them by almost a third. And each train has a distinct color. Eric -

I'm looking forward to finding out how 4D: The Sequel does. One thing I noticed (from Cyclone Man's pictures) that I wish they'd do here is to put padding on the car behind where your calves are. That would be nice. Too bad I can't go on your Japan trip. I can't afford it right now. Eric -
No, but I played it back in the '70s. I'm eating popcorn...are you?

There's something wrong with me. It's been like summer around here (SoCal), and I'm still dressing in a T-shirt, sweatshirt, and heavy jacket when I go out. And yet I'm comfortable. And, yes, I'm wearing pants...Levi's 501s to be exact. No need to scare anyone... Eric

I'm really enjoying our weather here in SoCal as of late. It's almost like summer! Eric
