  1. ^ Very Impregnated Person treatment? That woman ought to find a place to hide---and stay there. I gave some thought to going to Knott's, being that I have a coupon for $27 admission, but decided not to because I knew Xcelerator was down and because I didn't know how rough GhostRider was these days (my last ride about knocked my teeth out). Maybe I'll go again before summer. Eric
  2. At Knott's Solace 2003, we ran into Richard Karn (he played Tim Allen's sidekick Al on Home Improvement). He was very nice and posed for a picture with my daughter and her friend. We saw him over by Supreme Scream and wondered if it was in fact him, and it turned out to be the case. He and I got to chat a bit before moving on. Eric
  3. Yep. Terminator Salvation---The Ride. Do you own anything with blue LEDs?
  4. Only Knott's Berry Farm. But I've been to California's Great America long before Cedar Fair owned it. Is gas under $2/gallon where you live?
  5. Someone hit a possum in the street in front of our neighbor's house. The rotting carcass is still out there, and I won't touch it. Eric
  6. ^ That's how I made mine out, so I'd say yes. Eric
  7. ^ Then when you took it off, you no longer had eyebrows. Eric
  8. ^ Really. It was a hair-raising thought, but they did it! Eric
  9. Yep, a few more than that. Do you leave your phone on all night instead of turning it off?
  10. Being a fan of "behind the scenes" type stuff, I really enjoyed this TR. I'd like to check out SFMM's maintenance area sometime. Eric
  11. Is this the only location or are there more elsewhere? Eric
  12. There's a very simple philosophy that really works: "less is more." I bring this up more or less to echo what Robb said above---have a lot of content on a site, and you won't have to pretty things up so much. The look of this site is simple---and it works! Eric EDIT: By the way, the dashes between the words below the title was a good idea.
  13. ^ Not a bad thing---you can get a drink of water and wash the floor at the same time! Eric
  14. Sort of...I put it over what I want stapled, and my hand automatically pushes down on it. Amazing!!! Do you send in for applicable rebates when you buy something?
  15. ^ When Colin comes to California, I'll see if he gets to hold Chimichanga, our chinchilla. Eric
  16. ^ Well, this is The Rant Thread, so you came to the right place. I have an 18-year-old daughter, and I've seen the drama and how cruel young people can be. All the best to your friend. Eric
  17. They have to clear land for their 18th coaster, being that SFMM will add their 17th next year. Eric
  18. When All City built my computer, they installed Windows XP Professional. Odd, I thought, since Vista had been out awhile even at that time. But I figured they weren't exactly fans of Vista, so they stuck with the tried and true. That's OK with me. Windows XP works just fine and I have no complaints. Eric
  19. Yes, one thing: animal dander. Get a cat or dog in my face and I'm toast. Do you own anything that is solar powered?
  20. Have a happy! See you next weekend at the Bash! Eric
  21. I read your 2009 schedule and was glad to see that you'll be at West Coast Bash in just over a week. If you've not been to that event, you're in for a treat. I'll be there and look forward to meeting you. And that goes for anyone. Eric
  22. Mummy is a Premier coaster, not Vekoma. Not doubting what you saw; just clearing that up. To my knowledge, no track is fabricated in Southern California, but it's not impossible that some shop made a section for some reason. Supposedly, Sea World is getting a new coaster in 2010, and going south on the 710 would be heading the right direction. But that's just a guess. Eric
  23. I would have thought that any clearance issues would have been resolved during the design process, and that "reach envelope" thing is just an inspection tool to make sure everything's OK. Eric
  24. I'm actually surprised that this thread was inactive for three years, given the number of basketball fans---especially NCAA fans! Eric
  25. "I NEED TO BE THERE Just gotta figure out how...anyone got any ideas" (devol4) From Sacramento, jump on I-5 and go south a few hundred miles to the Magic Mountain Parkway exit. Turn right and go up the hill. Eric
