  1. Supports are being placed in the pretzel area, as can be seen on the Helix webcam. Click image for larger size.
  2. ^ Not when the placement of the elements is different. The Abyss has all the outdoor elements on the right side of the lift, while Saw's immelman exits on the left side of the lift. The rest of Saw's layout is behind the lift. That's not identical. Two standard Vekoma Boomerangs, those are identical. Same elements, same order, same placement.
  3. The new GIB: Giant Inverted Butterfly. Well, at least they can claim it's unique.
  4. Yes, it has 2 trains. The clone in Parque Warner Madrid (Correcaminos Bip, Bip) also has 2 trains. If you watch a pegasus POV (made by e-coasters, for example), you can see another train in the station while being on the brake-run.
  5. I've done some searching on rcdb and though I couldn't find exactly what you described, I did find these: http://rcdb.com/1070.htm?p=0 http://rcdb.com/1511.htm?p=0 ~Sneaky
  6. Very nice report, with lots of amazing pictures. I've always heard good things about Djurs, but apart from the coasters I didn't know a thing about the park. Your pictures provided me great insight in the look of the park. It really looks like a great park and I hope to visit it, preferably sooner rather than later.
  7. I love the first picture. It really shows the scale of the ride.
  8. ^ I think it's just 1 ride that consists of 2 coaster sections, seperated by dark-ride sections. I'm really curious how this ride will turn-out. It looks like it could be a really fun ride. ~Sneaky
  9. It seems that most of the GP think that if it two coasters are of the same type, they're the exact same ride. That and Manta is located at SeaWorld Orlando. ~Sneaky
  10. Very nice picture, Hanno. That was the last year with the brakeman on that coaster. In 2010 the trains were replaced with new trains from Kumbak, which don't require a brakeman. This coaster is also shown in a commercial on the dutch television. ('Specsavers' commercial) ~Sneaky
  11. My first B&M was Silver Star this year. And so far my only one (I really need to go to more parks, the coming years)
  12. Unfortunately I haven't been on many coasters, but these are my tallest: Steel: Mercedes Benz: the ride (a.k.a. Silver Star) Wood: Wodan timbur coaster. ~Sneaky
  13. Great picture Hanno. Looks amazing with that kind of light.
  14. One question, I hear everybody talking about an RMC make-over, but is that actually confirmed anywhere? Have I missed it somewhere, or is it just hoping/speculating? ~Sneaky
  15. Blue Fire <3 Rode it this fryday for the first time and it's my new No. 1 coaster. But that doesn't say much, considering my small coaster count. ~Sneaky
  16. I've read somewhere before that it has a hydraulic launch system and its top speed is about 80 km/h or 50 mph The miragica page on the italian wikipedia (click) pretty much says the same (though in italian). You can see it when you scroll down to the table under 'Attrazioni Estreme'. (lancio idraulico -> hydraulic launch) I think I've also read it somewhere else, some time ago, but I don't remember where it was. I hope this answers your question well enough. In case of bad english, my apologies. ~Sneaky
  17. Iron Shark looks nice. I like the colors. Are we sure this isn't a Mack megacoaster? Looking forward to testing. ~Sneaky
  18. I did some searching on the internet and found that the same picture was also posted on an Italian website, on July 31th 2010. The topic it was posted in was about the 2011 coaster at Gardaland (Raptor) http://forum.theparks.it/gardaland-resort-f2/raptor-roller-coaster-b-m-novita-2011-t5620-1095.html#p176801 On coasterforce, I also read a message (from theCoasterCruiser) that the same picture was also used in an Efteling discussion, some time ago, but I couldn't find more about that. ~Sneaky
  19. I don't know if anybody has seen this yet. Apparently there has been an accident while testing Verbolten. I read this on the dutch website Themepark.nl and it linked to bgwfans.com I'm not completely shure if all of this is true, but I thought I should post it here. ~Sneaky
  20. The last coaster I rode was Goliath at Walibi Holland back seat. I love the amazing airtime.
