  1. The new TV Add of the Swarm. I think its a upgrade on the last one shows a lot more of the ride but the backwards part kinda sucks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8aoHCcnzBI (How do I get this to show a video?)
  2. ^ If you ask me Colossus and the smiler are completely different. If I look at Colossus I see a easy ride with big parts beteween inversions (Like lift to looping, Looping to Cobra, Cobra to double corkscrew, Double corkscrew to quad inline, and finally from quad inline to final inline). Here it is one inversions after an other, it looks like you can't catch your breath anywhere els then the vertical lift. But I love it thanks to that. I saw this at TowersSteets facebook just a sec ago, employees jackets on the Smiler: Simply said: I hate them. Looks like they let a child pick some random cloths.
  3. ^ They sure are lucky with the steel structure, it would literally had a chunk in the track and fixing that won't be easy. But Looking at the pictures (painfully) the damage seems contained to the catwalks and railings, the track seems to be okay but that's how I see it in the pictures.
  4. ^ Remake the picture when it's done and you will count 11. Just the idea that this isn't the full picture of the ride makes me dizzy already.
  5. They where continuing on the Sea Serpent roll today. Looking good.
  6. From TowersStreet Facebook the Sea Serpent roll first half is done. I love the speed they're up right now. Can't wait to see them start on the second Dive loop and the other half of the sea serpent roll.
  7. Thanks for sharing GeorgeT. I'm usually no big fan of interviews or documentaries but this one I wanted to sit out. I truly enjoyed it.
  8. Must say like the trains kinda reminds me of the Hyper trains of B&M with little modifications. But I need to adjust to see a non B&M with the there trains.
  9. Towerstimes has also a new update from yesterday. Here is one of the Camelback to inline inversion, I must say like the oddly shaped inversions of the ride and this one doesn't look twisty but moor like a loop feeling. 30 pictures of construction can be found here: http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/sw7/construction/
  10. The park is running again and the smiler is going vertical again. http://live.towersnerd.com/ This is one I like to share, Sea Serpent going up :
  11. I don't know if it's asked before for but: I want to know if you can tell from the GP view if the ride has inversions. Like when you walk up to the ride, can you see the either the barrel rolls or are these really to far in the woods?
  12. ^ I can't even watch that fault. Purple and Yellow are completely wrong and I don't want to start about the Missing hotels. But Good to hear the news of possible expansion. Thats a lot of land and I hope they use it good like a second mini park or waterpark. Just 2 ideas I throw here.
  13. The ride looks epic. I want to go on it as soon as I can.
  14. Love the entrance sign. Can't wait for the POV.
  15. You bet I'm exited. I've been waiting so long for that moment.
  16. Sweet. I wish I could go to Texas this year but it seems I have to wait a year. Looks like a great ride.
  17. Looks super good so far. 11 inversions up that's a new record already. Looking forward to get corrected on this ride with his spaghetti bowl of track.
  18. Confirmation of X going forward. It seems some re-theming was done in the winter. I wonder to reviews now, They where already not happy with the ride.
  19. Not much change but I found this picture of the new entrance of X. I hope they're going to change the hight restriction and information board as well. As we can see the ride is still closed so we don't know if the rumors of the trains going forward or re-theme are true. Old entrance:
  20. Looking at the pre-drop that's leads into the first drop. We already need one piece of track to level the track after that we can use 1 of the 2 where stays the other one? Looking at the connections underneath they can make all sorts of supports underneath them so they could catch the negative G on that.
  21. I know which one you mean, saw it on some pictures I can't easily retrace. But if you ask me it looks like trimbrakes for the low speed hills between the double dive loop and the Batwing and between the Seaserpent and the Cobra. So the only parts where we can get airtime in the entire ride. It's kinda the only logical place for them. I still wonder though when they get the lift, On the pictures not much new track seems to arrive there.
  22. It has something when I look at it. I mean seeing it makes me exited to go to the park this summer.
  23. Looks really neat. But if I look at the guy It's a close call, It's either you just can reach it or you can't reach it at a hand of. I wonder how they are going to deal with annoying GP, It's the perfect place for misbehave. I mean for us the enthusiast it's just a wonderful part of the ride for pictures, so over the plaza.
  24. ^ I don't expect it to happen. It was actually always a enthusiast hype with the rumor of the most inversion. Because the plans said 8 loops people started to invent a element that could make it happen, thus the Washing Machine got a existence. It fell of the card after the news of the added inversions giving it 14 inversions thus a record. It's not completely ruled out that we don't get a trick track, I personally don't see it happen.
  25. ^ I don't expect any type of trick track on this ride. We've been able to see inside the trench for sometime and I can't see room for any. I expect them to soon start on the lift. I really feel we have something gimmick as world first like: "World first double dueling coaster" or something like that.
