  1. I really hope I can make it to Abu Dhabi some day.
  2. I actually wonder what a coaster like this will do for the park. Sure we here are all in love with the total package but how will GP react to it. I wonder how much more attendance the park gets when it's open. It's unbelievable what the park did here, to just let the ride speak for it self they captured allot of enthusiast by just a big amount of theming and the mystery of the ride's lay-out. Taron's construction might be something I never forget.
  3. It's been about 2 months since I last did this update, so I think It's about time : Placed track: Yellow: Storage track section, Station, 1st Launch and all that follows. Red: 2nd Launch and all that follows, Brakes. Blue and Orange: Track that could go after either launches I don't know wich it will be for 100%. Speculation: Light blue: How track will be placed if we look at the already placed supports. Green: Trench they dug, doubt this will be part of the lay-out. Big image of the first to show how intersections are: All colors are just lighter tones of the first image. A quick count came out on 38 intersections already with another 5 inevitable, meaning we are around 43 known intersections of the 58. They're on a run there.
  4. It's kind off going wrong, the train will come in from the right and go down on the left, So the rocks looks more like a sound barrier that directs the sound into the Abyss. I hope that bridge is accessible for all that's just a sick angle. Also more pieces in the final turn, They keep up the good work and I like it. Source. This is my face each day I look at the pictures.
  5. Just found some fresh photo's, also just went back in this thread to look at the ride at the beginning of the month, it's insane how much goes down here in little time. So I'm going to show you these pictures and tell you how it looked at September 1ste: In the back we see our rock wall without Scaffolding, 26 days ago it was still there. Also the little rock towers steel frame was placed at the first day of this month, but the most notable is the wood work, all that uncovered wood has been placed these last few days: Like this wood work: All footers where nothing but concrete pillars at the start of the month now they're amazing, also a lot of track got out of it's cover: At the star of the month this had only shape, no texture no life, right now it's out of Scaffolding: Again awesome details: At the start of the month they where still busy getting the concrete walls up of this trench, Now they dug a deep hole: Also let's not forget the new footers shall we: Source and more. Okay a lot happened this month alone it's only a guess how far this ride is next month, Earlier fears of this ride not being done in 2016 have lowered but still it's a big area and they're far from finished as it looks right now. But the main reason I wanted to let you guys know is that we soon will reach November in wich we most likely have no or just a few updates with the park being closed. So I expect a large step up in December when the park is open again.
  6. This is being build on the ground that used to house a Western village and the Silbermine darkride. So no growth. They really get a move on now.
  7. Well this is interesting, Wonder what the general ideas are for this concept. That said, there is something to get used to though. When the first coaster will be announced I might need to get used to the bulky T-Rex track, but if that's everything this could really become something.
  8. So it finally went up. Good to see some bends up. So the Wildfire finally started.
  9. The more I see the more I question if this will be done by 2016, there is going so much work into this ride that it can easily take another year. Amazing.
  10. I'm so happy I'm going out of my way to make sure to ride this next year. It's just so promising that it surely will be worth the 1200 Kilometers drive. Those trains look so beautiful. Just let this Wildfire burn guys.
  11. ^ Why did you need to bring up the most saddest coaster story of all time? It's really a shame a park had to lose such beautiful coasters in such a horrific way. I usually tent to forget this on purpose just because of they how it happened. Although this lead to a awesome raft ride it's a shame.
  12. Sorry guys for not posting in a while now. A lot came to be since then and new decisions where made. First of sorry I forgot to post this on the day it came out but here's the latest video: Secondly and exclusive to this thread the finished Baron 1898: Added two trains (one in the Immelmann and second in the brakes, and I also painted the lockers from green to orange. Third is that I really need to figure out why older post photo's get blanked, they're still on my original source place wich is Facebook by the way. Fourth and last thing. Don't expect frequent postings, I update you guys if a major change happened in the park that made me do adjustments on the park plan (like later this year I begin with Pinocchio's construction site.) Till next time.
  13. There must be a huge pay-check on Klugheim if it where to have a second coaster. Granted everything is possible, but I think the footers are just for Taron. Oh well we'll see.
  14. It's clearly a case of great coaster with awesome theming make for a awesome total experience. Phantasialand will hit a home-run with Taron. As far as this being the best coaster ever, well there isn't really any coaster that could claim that title. Some prefer Airtime others inversions and some want theming. It's really a contest on taste. I'm sure Taron will dominate a lot of enthusiast personal top 10's and taking some 1st places, and with that in mind, yeah this ride is on of the greatest coasters ever, and that when we don't know the full lay-out yet.
  15. Love it. Also like that they make the path next to the drop that's going to give some awesome views. Great and promising ride.
  16. Guess that one comes pre-curved? In all seriousness though, good to see construction has started I'm really exited for tomorrow will jump right on my laptop after work.
  17. Absolutely stunning. they sure know what they're doing.
  18. Back from my first visit to Hansa park, going there wasn't a fun trip we where 20 minutes away form our sleeping place when our car broke down, it's still in Germany now and we have rental car that got us to our destination and back home. It was a sad overall experience and we're still not completely over it. Only rode the 4 "big" coasters and Holstein-Turm. Die Glocke, Fliegende Haai and Torre del Mar where also skipped despite having inters in them, either due to not feeling it or the unreliable weather. Super-Splash, Rio Dorado and Wildwasserfahrt where skipped due to the cold and rainy weather. So I came for more then I did, despite that I had a great time. Walking to the park and seeing Kärnan makes me exited. So I always remember the time I passed the front gate. First coaster of the day was a classic, squeaky and noisy ride on Nessie. Not a bad ride at all, although when exiting the loop my head almost got slammed on the front of the car. It's everywhere. Let's go for something a lot better, Fluch von Novgorod was a real good surprise. I expected the ride to feel a bit of a letdown with first a launch and then a lift plus drop, But it worked really well. Although that said, the park needs to learn how to operate this with 3 trains, cause 2 trains is just 1 to less. Loved Novgorod's queue, hated the exit that maze was really unnecessary and confusing, and why the hell did we come out all the way on some random location? After Novgorod it rained really hard and we needed some cash so we went back to the entrance area, had to take some pictures. Crazy Mine, Could go alone so jumped in the single rider line and had to say went pretty fast, 3 persons stood before me and had to wait 5 trains. In case of emergency jump in mine car and go into mine it's safer there. Lot of trains on standby they could afford it here. God I love single rider lines, they're slim down the regular queue and get you faster up front. We need more. We save the best for last. God it's fast. Wonder how it all will look when it's done. So I have to say I got a new favorite ride, it knocked Expedition GeForce of my number 1 spot. Cause the rides are evenly great but this one get's the edge of the knife because it had 2 handicaps when I rode it. 1: Theming isn't done yet, bet that will help ride experience a lot. 2: It rained when I came out of the tower, hurt so much and I didn't do a re-ride when it was dry (1 hour wait all day). Despite those still an awesome ride. After Schwur des Kärnan we walked around the park sightseeing, and Sea seeing. You could see it form almost everywhere. Old machine thingy. 2 Fences are still there. Ride operations needs some polishing, 1 train every 3 minutes (We checked one time and it was quick for the next came at that time) and more? The bag system is slowing it down really hard. Rising up in Holstein-Turm. And a great closing shot. Despite everything enjoyed my day there, Maybe I will stop by next year after Sweden because it's worth it. A nice park and a great way to end 2015 (will do some Efteling visits but will not post the pictures). See you next year.
  19. My first ride on: Schwur des Kärnan. Picture I made. Yesterday and it was dry until we boarded the ride and so we came out, I couldn't see a thing and my face was hurting so bad, and still this is my new favorite ride.
  20. Love the announcement, really draws me in and gets me exited. Although got distracted from the stats, watched about 7 times still missed some.
  21. Okay got to get my a$$ over there next year. Nothing will stop me now.
  22. Wait SFMM does something the fans like for the second year in a row? This is Total Mayhem, or a there is a good Joker there. In all seriousness, After years of reading fans asking about the renovation I will wonder about the reviews next year.
  23. Guess we have to see in a few hours if it's real or not. Honestly it looks great, I'm currently stuck in Europe for the next few years but the East Coast starts to call me with this, Just adds more confusion where to start America of when the time is there. I like the color scheme allot, if the Joker leak of SFDK is real Six Flags sure knows how to use 2 colors for a ride.
  24. My friend is in the UK on vacation and he said it would be 10 A.M. there. Different time zone? Yeah England has the 0 time zone and the majority of Europe the +1. So that's correct.
