  1. wait. . . . . . what? Oblivion condoms? and these were official from the park?
  2. looking like strongest season yet! (the episode -- minus the last 10 minutes -- was put online over the weekend by Ru). by the way, Sharon Needles' cd "PG-13" is fantastic if you love "club" music. She's not the greatest singer, but the music is just great!
  3. I really only have 2 that "annoy" me (and one of them sorta can't be helped). 1) Pukers (in the cycle just before you are ready to get on -- shutting the whole thing down for clean up). as I said, this one can't really be helped, tho I do wish that if someone *thinks* a ride might make them puke, either don't ride, or for goodness sakes, don't eat just before going on! 2) this one CAN be helped -- sticky hands from the rider just before you. Yes, that Icee, Churro, Ice Cream, etc is yummy, and yes, it makes the line go faster if you have something to much on while waiting. but PLEASE. . use a napkin (or bring some wet wipes in your pockets) to clean your hands before gripping the hand-bars, or ride vehicle! sheesh.
  4. oh yeah. .the flyers from the parks. those are the GOLD.. . . I love em, even the many from overseas where all I can do is look at the pictures (since can't read a single thing on some of em)
  5. ttt (Crosses) -- the Epilogue
  6. The Young Professionals: T.Y.P. Disco [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  7. Looks AWESOME. and great report and Pics Robb & Mr. Stratosphere!
  8. LOL. . I prolly would have bought that too! Not politically correct, but hysterical!
  9. I really do see it being a hit. . tho wish there was something behind it instead of just parking lots. but the view onto and down the strip will be amazing!
  10. I rode it four times in a row. but then stopped as my lips kept getting stuck to my gums (due to the big stupid smile I had on my face the whole time!).
  11. Luckily, I tend to only do that at Disney. . tho I always go overboard. I think our last trip to DisneyLand resulted in a good 15 shirts (bought within the parks), and another 6-7 bought from the stores between the Hotel and the parks! -- hey, they are at least $20 cheaper, and you can wear them 3 or 4 times before they fall apart but oddly, no shirts from Knott's, or Universal (and I don't think I've ever bought one from SixFlags either, despite the years of going to Fiesta, Astroworld, and SFoT).
  12. isn't it going where Camp Minnie/Mickey was?
  13. yep, agreed. nice showing of the work too
  14. I need to upload our older On-Ride photos. . . they're all on the fridge hehe. . might be time to change my avatar to us on the Bamboo Shoot (no, I don't care that the picture says it was called "Ozarka Splash". .it was the Bamboo Shoot dammit!
  15. she actually went from film to serving the United States. . so the later half of her life tended to be out of the spotlight, even tho she was doing very impressive things: she was a long-serving Ambassador (to both Ghana and Czechoslovakia). . appointed to positions by several Presidents. from Wiki: She was appointed Representative to the 24th United Nations General Assembly by President Richard M. Nixon (September – December 1969),[97][98] and was appointed United States Ambassador to Ghana (December 6, 1974 – July 13, 1976) by President Gerald R. Ford.[99] She was appointed first female Chief of Protocol of the United States (July 1, 1976 – January 21, 1977), and was in charge of arrangements for President Jimmy Carter's inauguration and inaugural ball.[99][100] She served as the United States Ambassador to Czechoslovakia (August 23, 1989 – July 12, 1992), having been appointed by President George H. W. Bush
  16. So much back and forth as is SLOOOOOOOOWLY goes around. . ! [youtu_be]http://youtu.be/4q9Y_jb1pcU[/youtu_be]
  17. Ha!. . we used to bring those home all the time. you quickly realize how much bigger they are in a room, than opposed to hanging on a booth. LOL. . luckily (?), we have/had a Doberman. . so they never lasted very long, and the backyard was full of "popcorn" graves. . . LOL
  18. you are NOT alone, Sir! that's why I'm glad I managed to not get "hooked" on the Disney Pins. I'm TERRIBLE at wanting to trade. seriously, I'm like a Pixar SeaGull: MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE
  19. very, very cool. drools with envy. My favorite "find" is that I did pick up the *HUGE* EPCOT book (from the early 80s), recently used from Amazon. . . for $3 + $4 shipping. I think it's going in the $80s range for a used copy if you can find one. Terribly outdated at this point, but loved looking at the old pics from it!
  20. Saw "the Lego Movie" . . . . and liked it, a LOT. I totally understand why the critics are raving about this film. the animation is appropriately choppy (considering it's supposed to be Lego bricks), but what really makes this? Perfect (and I mean PERFECT) voice casting. It's hard to talk about the film without spoiling some of the wonderful surprises within, but I can say that it's not targeted at the under 5 set -- even tho our sold out screening had TONS of little kids in it. I'd say this film is targeted at the late teen to young adult moviegoer (with some gags, targeted firmly at the parents). Honestly, the little ones around us were a bit restless, and the one right in front of us fell asleep. But we were held rapt. The only misfire, is really the pacing -- it starts out way too slow, but once the story really kicks in?. . . We were just swept away in it. and yes, most Legos make an appearance (Space, Super-Heroes, Pirates, Western, Star Wars, LotR, Harry Potter -- the gag with a character confusing Dumbledore and Gandalf during a group planning session lands hysterically). the only other criticism would be that the film kinda loses a bit of steam when it segues into real world (for a fun cameo that I wont' spoil here). . . but that's just a minor complaint. Good stuff that I recommend.
  21. ^^ Cool! I was gonna ask you if you had the Disneyland Paris book, and then you brought it up I've never been, but the copy of the book I have (from Amazon, I believe..it's been a long time since I bought it) came with "tipped in" plates of the park. is that the same as the version you bought in the park?
  22. I miss two, about the same, both from my dearly departed Home Park (Astroworld): Alpine Sleighs: and the Astrowheel: sheesh, I'm like a broken record here. . .but I grew up with that Park, and that's where the majority of my Theme Park Memories as a child are.
