Here is one of Airbourne's songs: UGGH. My ears! This sounds like Nickleback trying to sound like AC/DC. Of all of the more lesser-known bands they could have picked to do Full Throttle's theme song, why did it have to be this group? I know it would be too expensive to have a bigger name like Judas Priest to do it, but there are several groups that aren't as well known that could've made a great theme song for the coaster; like Trivium or Sepultura, for example.

Favorite Standalone Haunts?
Someotherguyuser replied to Stephen G's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I went to see Delusion last November. It was a haunt in a mansion at a neighborhood in downtown LA. What a blast that was! It was basically a haunted play that went on with your group of ten. You explored the house at the performers' pace and they would have you participate in the story for what was going on. (Having you take the keys from grandma, finding the lost journal, etc.) I'll be doing it again next year. -
This would sound far more believable if you were talking about SFMM. "YOLO!!!!! FIRST EVER RECLINING SEATS ON THE WORLD'S TALLEST vertical LOOP COASTER! You Only Lean Once! ***Guests complain about the seats slamming up on the brake run. Six Flags gets rid of the reclining seats after opening weekend*** But seriously though, I love looking up random permits for Disney rides that will or never come in the future to imagine the possibilities. This will be a fun thread for me to look at.

I could see an Avengers ride working in the third park with Iron Man in the flagship park. I kinda doubt they would devote an ENTIRE theme park to Marvel. Don't you think they would want to put one or MAYBE even two lands devoted to Star Wars as well? It would be creatively limited to have one entire theme park devoted to Marvel, or even Star Wars for that matter. If/when they build the third gate, I think they will make it have a broader theme (ala Disneyland, Hollywood Studios, Islands of Adventure) to allow more major brands to have a presence in there. I think this would be a great place to push their other franchises like Tron, Lone Ranger or Oz.

I went to the park yesterday, so I thought I wold give a report on what I've seen. Despicable Me: I noticed that one small piece of the blue wall dressing where the sign was above the entrance had been taken off. They completely got rid of the stand where people would pick up their glasses. I saw a lot of executive-looking folks walking around the park and talking to a couple of the employees. The next day, I see an update that the executives were touring IoA about scanning for the Lord of the Rings land. I just found that interesting. EDIT: Stupid filter!!!!

It's back from refurbishment. It's now fully operational. ' I'm hearing some word that they may give the Jurassic Park a major update after this Summer or after HHN (The latter I think is more plausible) to promote JP4. I think it's likely that it could happen. We'll just wait and see. I think it's VERY safe to say we won't get those new JP rides Florida's getting.

Anyone hear the major news regarding HHN? John Murdy has announced on his Twitter page that he will be designing for HHN Orlando and Mike will be designing for the Hollywood event. @Michael_Aiello @DesigningFear Mike's going to LA and I'm going to Orlando. He's gonna design USH and I'm gonna design UO

Awesome! Now we can all take advantage of the restored Log Ride as well! September will now be the month to look forward to for me. My birthday, opening night of HHN, and now West Coast Bash! Oh, this will also be perfect timing for us college students since this will be the first week of the semester. That means we won't have so much homework. Haha

Not to count the chickens before they hatch here, but I could see them doing that to compete against Potter and Disneyland's rumored Iron Man E-Ticket for 2015. Like you said it's perfect. They could keep the entire Antarctica theme and exhibits and just rework the building to make it fit for Empire. Sea World SD finally has a nice coaster, now it needs a legitimate dark ride!

Went to Universal today to get a park update! I was there today mainly to shoot an update for Despicable Me construction and what's going on with the WWW arena....as well as getting a couple of rides on Transformers and the Mummy. What is that little shack that they are building behind the Blues Brothers stage? Some sort of sound booth? Oh, the Blues Brothers show is now only going on during the weekends when the crowds pick up. The park is fairly empty right now as school is back in session and the holiday crowds have passed. Looking at the map, Terminator 2:3D have been completely eliminated from the map as well as the Western arena. Let's go see how they're doing, shall we? All references to the former attraction are now gone. While I was over there, I could see construction workers pulls stuff in and out of the preshow doors. I heard lots of loud hammering and saws. They seem to be wasting no time converting this to Despicable Me. Coke Soak is completely walled-off. Some Fast and Furious cars have been moved over here to give the guests something to look at for the next five to six months. Now to look at the Western arena Treelighting show is completely gone. One last look at what's left of the WWW arena. New plants added to the hillside by SES show. Blues Brothers during the weekdays. I'll conclude the update with this picture. Just literally a couple minutes before I took this picture, one of the construction workers painted this line and made this survey marker. THEY"RE BUILDING A NEW GIGA!!!! In all seriousness, I think this has something to do with a new attraction that should opening where the arena is. Maybe a queue rail, or a sign of some sort?

I was in the front seat when I went through Evil Dead, and I actually got a couple of good scares from the monsters! Of course, what might scare me won't scare others, and vice versa, but I liked it. As I said before, it would be nice to see a maze in the Log Ride for Haunt 2013, but my gut tells me it might not happen. But they could definitely go the route of the Mine Ride and at least put up decorations, even though it wouldn't be frightening. Well, what I'm saying is that if they can't make a new theme/overlay/maze for the Log Ride, just add a couple of monsters int here for the heck of it. It's not themed, but at least you've got some scares in there.
