  1. This thread is like one big loop being played over and over and over and over!
  2. Wholeheartedly agree. I think a woodie like that would look fantastic both on the beach and when it would travel over/under the entrance. Though a wingrider would definitely look intimidating, a GCI would without a doubt would make the entrance amazing looking.
  3. Its interesting and your achitecture is great, the whole park has that awesome forest feel. I love that façade of the show building on Lumberjack. My only tiny issue is that Dunkle Tov has waaay too many cars per train. Shorten it down to around four cars.
  4. For a moment, I will pretend CP is getting something better than a BM wing-rider. Right with you! Wouldn't that be the king of all viral marketing strategies. Can you imagine if they surprised us with an intamin hyper-woodie?
  5. ^That wouldn't be a really "marketable" thing, nor do I think they'd spend money on it in the first place. If they were going to reclaim the records, they might as well spend that money on another coaster!
  6. It's sad DT will be leaving, it definitely was a coaster worth a ride every time I went to the point. That being said, it's very exciting at the same time that they're opening up that area of the park. It's really going to make every ride in that area look better, and give it more of a beachside/boardwalk feel. On the subject of the Wingrider, I'd love to see a wingrider more along the lines of Wild Eagle much more than I would something like X flight or The Swarm. Also, could @!!$!(*%% be code for something?
  7. Before refurb. It definetly was an absolutely insane ride before, and I can definetly see it as a marketing point or even just a reason to do the Iron Horse treatment, to say "Hey look, we killed the ride before but we're gonna make it kickass again!"
  8. My money goes on the Iron Horse treatment. I don't know how much they could do with topper track with a ride with a layout like this, especially if they're going to all out shut it down and everything. It's going to be so interesting to see another major overhaul!
  9. I could very well see them doing an overhaul like this with at least one of the BTRs considering they redid the Disneyland space mountain with track more like this.
  10. Brilliant video. I got the chills just watching it, especially when superman falls at the same time. Excellent all around ride, and a great much needed addition to the mountain!
  11. I am in love with that coaster and I haven't even seen the full layout yet. It looks fantastic so far.
  12. I can't wait to see what else the layout has to offer after seeing this!
  13. I don't think this has been touched upon, but what can we really do to colossus with iron-horse retracking? It's not like it's a wooden mess layout like Texas Giant. Texas giant was already a pretty wild ride in terms of layout before the retracking. Colossus follows a pretty simple layout, I don't think it would be worth it considering you couldn't do much. I could be wrong though, there's always a way to do things, I just think making it as wild as the NTAG would require much more work than just tearing it down and building an El Toro type monster.
  14. You know, I'm sure there is reasoning as to why they didn't bring it all the way to the top, nothing works out perfectly.
  15. There are plenty of roller coasters with inversions that have lapbars. Most notably the Premiers...if Superman or Batman and Robin or even the spaghetti bowls can have lapbars, so can this. Some sort of reach guard is pretty much a given though. Completely. If the new S:UF coaster at SFDK can only have lap bars, this sure as hell can too.
  16. That's probably the best POV footage I've ever seen. Definetly looks like a really thrilling addition.
  17. I can't imagine them having four riders per car because of how tight the drop is and the twistiness of the ride. I would assume they'd be articulated like the timberliners or millennium flyers.
  18. I was indeed expecting if it were to invert, a loop at most. But this is some of the most exciting coaster news I've ever been around for!
  19. That turn looks completely inverted! This is easily one of my most anticipated coasters ever! I'm really glad they're starting a teaser campaign, and an interactive one at that!
  20. This is great, and the varitey of rides is unlike any other park I've seen in RCT. You should upload this to new element!
