  1. Well fog was supposed to be part of Levi's tunnel but it completely fogged out the bus terminal so they had to cut it. There is potential for the tunnel!
  2. Those two grey supports are used to hold up the support before the track was installed....it was also used during Levi construction.
  3. Leviathan's trims are barely used.
  4. Doesn't Cedar Fair already have the trademark Mamba? In the US yes, but in 2012 they filed it for Canada.
  5. Why do I feel like we're just going in circles and circles and circles...... Anyway, password122, Wonderland has hinted at a coaster with some pretty obvious "clues". That's all we know....and a Mamba trademark
  6. Maverick has been there since 2012.
  7. Looks like they getting everything staged and ready for tomorrow now. If everything is planned out today, I could think we could see it topped off before noon. Looks like their going to be lifting one piece at a time (hence the 3 cranes)....so it could take a while....depending on what time they start at.
  8. The hardest part is that it's going to take a long time to install the last lift pieces. Leviathan took over 12 hours (I remember Wonderland saying they started at 6am and finished at 8pm). So they'll probably wait till there are "reliable" conditions for the entire day....because once the first of the four are installed, there is no going back....they have to keep going, no matter how long it takes!
  9. Ah...so your referring to what Paramount did. Yes, THEY were quantity over quality.
  10. I absolutely disagree with this. Just because Wonderland is the "prototype" park, prototype rides have to start somewhere. You can't make the biggest and baddest thing right out of the gate (well, you can, but CF is playing it safe). So just because the newer rides are the best thing in the world, that doesn't mean Wonderland is going for quantity.
  11. I was thinking the same thing. However, I'm sure it is right on track. Every coaster has a different timeline.....it doesn't matter how long or short it is. Remember, leviathan wasn't completed until February....and that was on schedule.
  12. Come on nicman......we already went over this "neglected" thing....
  13. The construction on the other end of the park has nothing to do with any future rides....just a hospital and employee (and maybe second gate) road(s).
  14. You know how the parking lot is surrounded by a hill that runs between the lot and public roads? At the employee parking area, part of the hill has been dug out (aka demolished) as well as part of the employee parking lot (concrete has been removed). Also the park used to have a second gate on the north side but it closed after the park sold the land to Vaughn for the hospital. It sat abandoned up until a month ago when it was demolished. According to someone on CW Mania, the second gate is supposed to be rebuilt soon. And by "gate" I mean "car entrance"...sorry for any confusion!
  15. Not anything major but it looks like the hill separating the employee parking lot and Major Mac has been completely dug out.....could this be the reopening of the second gate? For now it is clear that they are using the gap to make construction on the hospital easier but once the hospital is done.... EDIT: probably also worth noting that a good chunk of the employee parking lot has been demolished.
  16. Wait....you don't want it to be a coaster???
  17. Could be.....but I'm thinking otherwise.....the fact that the markers have "C21", "C20", etc, are suspicious to me (aka Levi's markers)
  18. Fastpay was supposed to come to Wonderland after Dorney......but that never happened. I don't think we will ever see FastPay become a chain wide thing.....just like Kings Island's Perk Awards program (or whatever they called it).
  19. How much of Guardian's track makes up the outdoor portion? Even if you give CW that much, Knotts is still going to have a LOT more in less space. I look forward to seeing how this turns out, especially if the ride does indeed include physical props. Also remember that according to some news sources, the ride will stop at certain spots (so in a sense it will make up for the shorter length). And the ride will probably move a bit slower then WMG.....technically the interactive portion of WMG lasts about 2ish minutes EDIT: It might be also worth noting that WMG's track length is actually 921 feet.
  20. I know the media will always be the media but.... Drop track to descend???? http://www.latimes.com/travel/themeparks/la-trb-knotts-berry-farm-voyage-iron-reef-20141113-story.html#page=1 I also like how there will actually be physical props
  21. mratigan, please enable PM or email so I can message you back..... For you, ernierocker
  22. ^yup...only one side of the ride has a continuous screen (all left turns minus the right turn into the drop track). I rode WMG and I can tell you the cars move so fast that it is extremely hard to hit a target on your first shot so I hope they slow it down with KBF.
  23. I have a hard time buying it....when has a B&M restraint ever come loose????
