  1. Well, their replacing the track now. So whether or not the supports are at the end of their life, you might as well replace them now. If you didn't, down the rode your gonna have to remove the track again to put in new supports
  2. There is a video on youtube showing a behind the scenes tour of WMG. I'm not going to include the link since it's probably breaking some policy on this site. Just search "Wonder Mountains Guardian" and sort by upload date. You'll find it.
  3. No one really knows if the track for the clone was ever made. It's just a rumour.
  4. An interesting project just got so much more interesting tonight. The only thing that confuses me is that Clermont has every single spec of the Hulk stored in its computers (or that's what I heard a few years ago). The computer could start cutting steel right away. On that note, wouldn't it be more expensive to go to a new company and have them have to redesign the track (even if it is the same layout)
  5. ^The fact that this is a Frozen line and it was cold this weekend makes this awesome.
  6. ^Technically not....maybe. I know a piece of Parrot Coaster never left the factory (it was sitting in the back corner of the factory after the entire coaster had already shipped; you can see the track in some angles on Bing Maps) and one day just disappeared.
  7. ^Yup! And now that Clowns is gone, the bumper cars might be back (unless they put another maze there)!!!
  8. Also, the trains are manufactured in Switzerland so that's something to also consider.
  9. ^Dragon Mountain was supposed to have a miniature Niagara Falls...so technically it's still not done [emoji6]
  10. ^^In terms of guardian, I was not comparing it to Universal at all! I was literally commenting on how a missing wall ruins the whole "in a mountain" theme and how Wonderland won't put up that wall!
  11. a) A ride with complete/half decent theming: Is building a wall instead of a fence too much to ask for? You can see the drop track, projectors, and behind the screens, all from here! Let alone there is rock work on one half of the station and the other half is simply painted black...with a very ill placed animation (not seen in the picture). b) A ride they would maintain: I was really hoping they would actually make an effort to complete the theming of the ride during the off-season (it's not like they had a lot to do...they built the slide starting in January and Slingshot went up March(ish).) This just clearly shows that have no intention on ever "completing" the ride....but hey, props to the crew for making the entrance into the mountain (ride portion) a perfect square. Voyage to the Iron Reef is much better compared to WMG and costed less.
  12. ^^Well, Guardian is almost a bust (way to many issues with it...let alone they can't even maintain audio as some of it has disappeared this season) and Typhoon isn't really fun....for the kid's sure, but for a waterpark that hasn't been expanded in over a decade, it's a pretty bad addition. But why did we get this slide from Ontario Place instead of the complex that a bunch of CF parks are getting? Because the government was selling Typhoon cheap...and why not buy a cheap slide that you can easily market into, "...speed through back-to-back turns and spirals before suddenly dropping into the massive open 18 ft. (5.5 m) funnel", when in reality, there is no speed, no "massive" funnels, and the "spirals" are literally just a slightly over 360-degree turn. And before anyone jumps on me for thinking I'm spoiled, my only issue is that Wonderland has been investing in additions that are cheap and building attractions that aren't even complete (aka Guardian). ^talon2017: So you want a dark ride that's theming isn't even complete...let alone they can't even maintain?
  13. I guess technically yes, but Thunder Road's tracks are structurally dependent on each other, and is marketed under one name all the time. Whereas HH and CF have different names and totally different structures. Dragon Challenge's lift hills share supports.
  14. ^Equipment has been there off and on since the removal of the propane tanks. They kinda used it as a mini boneyard. But I guess anything is possible.
  15. Wait...are you talking about the fence in your first picture? That's where the propane tanks used to be for Stunt Coaster! They just never took out the fences. http://binged.it/1IEDPW3
  16. CedarFair1, you do realize Stunt Coaster's power station is near the brake run and is partially inclosed by themeing....right? The pictures you posted are no where near that.
  17. More evidence that this is real: http://pointbuzz.com/Forums/Topic/announcement-date-81815-2/10#544264 The "Cedar Point" banner is the same as the leaked logo.
  18. I'm a programmer and also know Unity. So long as the Reddit user is telling the truth about the app being made in Unity, I believe this is real.
  19. No way that is real. Logo maybe, but the animation looks really fake.
  20. I've heard employees don't leave the park till after midnight anyways. I've seen Leviathan with riders on past midnight one night.
