  1. ^Nope, Leviathan was stacking all 3 trains almost all the time. Riders were moving a good pace though...crew just taking their time. Also, given that they've added 20 seconds to the countdown clock and they still can't beat it (last year the countdown was 40 or 45 seconds and the crew was beating the countdown like a joke), capacity is taking a hit (20 seconds adds up with every train)
  2. And a broken WMG....and over a minute dispatches for Levi (crew doesn't even look motivated to try and beat the countdown clock).
  3. ^Not all schools are done yet. There are bunch of schools that will be finishing Tuesday/Wednesday On that note, the park won't be busy but not empty. Will you need fast lane....probably note. But make the call when you get there. (If you get to the park at rope drop, you should be fine)
  4. That's not even the URL type Cedar Fair uses for new rides....
  5. They are getting a massive new coaster in 2016 they have a coaster countdown on their construction fence. They let alone have a construction fence, we don't. Also view it this way; Hotel Breakers approx 700 rooms currently fully booked every weekend and most weekdays= $245, 000 USD daily on that one hotel now add all their other hotels incomes daily to that and this is why Cedar Point is getting some love now. I'd expect to see a lot of love heading their way continously. If they keep building at this rate, they will run out of room to build anything else. If only CW had hotels... I wonder how much room they will have left at Canada's Wonderland if they get a new coaster soon. Wonderland still has lots of room....including Wonder Mountain (WMG takes up little space in the mountain)
  6. 3 clicks for Leviathan. As far as I know, all B&M Hypers/Giga's are 3 clicks
  7. WMG isn't worth it if there is a long line (if it's outside of the mountain). Fast Lane might also help (obviously).
  8. ^ Just remember that both of those rides were prototypes. WMG could have gone terrible, and I mean terribly wrong. Don't think you would want that to happen at your park! CedarFair1, depends on how you look at "profitable"....given how terrible our currency is right now!
  9. I would actually argue against Minebuster being in bad shape. It actually isn't that bad....wooden roller coasters aren't supposed to be exactly smooth...
  10. Ferries wheel type of ride....WindSeeker? Best description ever!!!! LOL! Anyways, let's just enjoy the season and hope for something interesting to happen between now and September [emoji6] EDIT: actually now that I think of it, there were several "seasonal" employees that actually new something was being built in the mountain since construction did start earlier than May (I heard April)
  11. WindSeeker was predicated by pretty much every fan group for each park it went to in 2011....and we all knew a dark ride was coming in 2014 since it was leaked a week before the announcement. Also, was he right about Sling Shot?
  12. Maybe they found a buyer for Skyrider faster than anticipated. Maybe they just didn't want to pour more money in to it even though they might wait a year or longer to do something with the space. There could be any number of reasons why they took out Skyrider and possibly wait for an attraction until 2017. SkyRider was supposed to get scrapped. They just figured they could make a few extra bucks by selling it. Had Italy not bought it, it was heading to the scrap yard. And CedarFair1, I still don't understand where your getting all this information. From the sounds of it, your getting it from "a person who doesn't work at the park" which basically means anyone can be saying anything.... And be careful with your wording because it sounds like your making quite a few assumptions. Your post above says Minebuster WILL get removed/Iron Horsed in 2017....meanwhile you have not shown any reliable source for this info....
  13. Sorry I think we're talking about two different things. The snapshot you posted said was "updated" from the original press release; which it isn't. That's all I was trying to say.
  14. The Toronto Star article isn't the press release though. The press release hasn't changed.
  15. I'm sorry that I didn't check out your website? EDIT: Am I missing something? Because what you screenshot is the original press release. Nothing changed. http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/1394678/canada-s-wonderland-retires-iconic-stand-up-roller-coaster-skyrider-after-29-years
  16. Do you actually think he would tell you what they are for (if they were for a coaster or some other attraction)?
  17. It is similar to markings found out int he parking lot during Leviathan construction My guess could be Main Column 2 Leviathan's markings were like "C8" (Column 8). These were the stakes were found near the end of last season but have since been removed. 18. Or because there were already pipes in the ground from Wipeout? (I'm pretty sure someone said before that the pipes were never removed)
  19. Nope. Track was already being erected in October. Digging for the footers started way before than.
  20. I guess but I personally don't see two coasters in two years. But like I said above, anything is possible!
  21. ^Really? Two major additions in two years? Do you know how much that would cost!!!! RMCing isn't cheap.
  22. It was trademarked in Canada so anything is possible!
