  1. With a little bit of innovation the train problem could be fixed. And again, "a very big project" can mean literally anything....it doesn't have to be referring to a coaster.
  2. I thought the reason why Skyrider was removed, was so that they would have room for a new coaster. There is always more than one reason. But either way, making room for a new coaster is more of "bonus".
  3. Since my post got deleted for som reason: Nicman, to answer your question, yes, people have ridden Zombies and from what it sounds like, it's a lot better than Guardian.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the exclusivity contract expired quite a while ago.
  5. Even if the park was planning to change the restraints next season....they won't just release that info to a random person through an email/on the phone.
  6. Why have you been so negative? Also, think of it logically....why would a coaster like Fury go to MA....maybe a hyper but definitely not a giga....yet (maybe 10 years down the road ) Also what makes Intimidator 305 any different?
  7. Ya but the planning was so late in the game, the park probably had everything ready (marketing and all the other stuff involved) ready to go. But I would agree with you.
  8. POV's and riding the ride provide a completely different experience. Before riding Leviathan and when I only had the POV to watch, I actually thought it wouldn't be too different than Behemoth (how wrong was I....).
  9. Just be happy with what you got. Remember that Paramount screwed Wonderland over....look what Cedar Fair has done since. From what CF has done, they have given great rides to the park. If you want to get technical, the only reason why B&M ever made a giga was because it was a "sorry that we couldn't give you the invert you wanted" gift to Wonderland....not Cedar Fair (B&M initially refused to build Leviathan but later came around). So Fury 325 may have never even existed if history was different.
  10. ^^Whaaaaaaa? Wonderland is no where near neglected. I think you may believe that Wonderland is being neglected because we have all the "firsts" (first dark ride, first B&M giga, etc) which were all prototypes...things improve as time goes on (aka Fury 325) so just because we may not have the biggest and greatest creations does not mean the park is neglected. Also keep in mind that Wonderland has the most attendance for any CF park.
  11. Flight Deck can actually have some pretty long lines on hot/busy days.
  12. As I was leaving the park last night, I knew something wasn't right. It started with one police car going into the parking lot (at that point I thought it was to direct traffic because the parking lot was in grid lock) but then one siren turned into two, turned into three, turned into a fire truck and ambulance. There were some police dealing with several issues in the park through out the night last night, so whether that had anything to do with it, I don't know.
  13. Behemoth and Leviathan are "quality B&Ms". They may not be intense but they are great.
  14. Almost always been stapled when I've rode leviathan. The time or 2 I wasn't was amazing, but I can't really compare as I haven't done it enough times unstapled. It's not much of a secret but there is a way that they can staple you as hard as they want and you'll still get a loose restraint. Nicman, "big project" can mean almost anything. It could refer to cost, number of attractions, time to construct, length of the ride (roller coaster), uniqueness, etc.
  15. ^Eh...I would Leviathan actually does....especially with lots of floater on the first drop....if you are able to get away with a loose restraint.
  16. 1. There is no need to make double and triple posts....just edit your posts if needed. 2. We have no idea if Fury 325 is "amazing". I know I'm getting technically, but the coaster hasn't even been built so we cannot start making assumptions of an animation. 3. B&M's are nothing like they used to be. After Stengel left, things changed a bit....but they seem to be finding their groove again.
  17. I don't know if it's true, but I have heard t several times....Flight Deck at Californa Great America is the coaster that was for Wonderland. B&M and Paramount were literally ready to sign the contract to manufacture the coaster (the ride had already been fully designed) but for some weird reason, at the last possible minute, B&M called Kinzel and he said no to the project (B&M called to see ask if he would make an exception as Wonderland is 248 or something miles from CP)
  18. Why is Ziz a terrible name? Not liking the name is not an acceptable reason. If they build a flying or winged coaster, the name fits perfectly, as it is a flying creature. It would provide great theming potential. It's not dumb, it is only logical. The parks picks Behemoth. When they built their next coaster, they decide on the name most commonly associated with Behemoth. They are almost forced to use "ziz", by their own doing, especially due to the design. It's not like they made the other biblical names up by chance. I can guarantee that Cedar Fair is quite aware of the name Ziz and what it stands for. Anything can happen, but there is no reason that Ziz is not being heavily considered. The park isn't forced to use Ziz...they could name it what ever they want....the GP won't care. Also, Behemoth was actually supposed to be named Leviathan at first (hence why it is right beside the lake) and Leviathan was only used because management still wanted to use it....has nothing to do with biblical influence.
  19. I remember reading somewhere that during an interview with a park rep, they said the Wing Coaster concept isn't what Wonderland is going for....but anything can happen I guess...
  20. It's Haunt trademark...nothing too important. There has always been very untrue rumors surrounding wonderland, two rumors of it moving away from Vaughan surfaced back in the day and that was untrue. What they might have meant and Matt Ouimet even said in a podcast once was Wonderland was one of the most beautiful parks in the world and a hidden gem. The employee might have meant were going to be the best park in the chain. I mean if you look at our investments lately they are MASSIVE! Behemoth, Leviathan, Guardian (two coaster in 3 years with another massive project being built now so thats 4 coasters built in a 8 year period! That being said if the park was going anywhere they wouldn't be building a massive 2016 addition. I don't quite understand what this "new rumour" is. Can someone clarify? And for the record, the rumour about Wonderland moving has been around for ages and will never happen.
