  1. I thought CedarFair1 said all the fences and path were gone.....everything is still there.
  2. Are the visuals similar to this: http://www.trio-tech.com/portfolio-posts/zombies/ Or did Triotech make a whole different movie?
  3. I should also let you know that WMG has a zero backback policy....so unless you want to pay for a hourly lock er at the entrance of the ride, don't bring a bag (they won't let you in the queue if you have one)!
  4. Well Guardian is located on the left side of the mountain (if you are facing the mountain from the front). So once you enter the park, go the left and just follow the path...you can't miss the entrance (lift hill runs along the entire side of the mountain and the entrance is right below). Follow the red line below. Oh and one more note....don't get your hopes up too high for Guardian....just sayin'.
  5. There are no early ride times. That ended in August. Regarding where you should go first, get to the park at 9:30am and go straight to Guardian....the line up will get long VERY fast (when I was there on Sunday, I was at the front of the line at 9:30, by 10 the line was already past the waterfalls and when I got off, the line was AT the waterfalls...aka about an hour wait.)
  6. You can see the purple slide and behind is the green one. Part of the play structure is up front. Sorry for the low quality, lots of bouncing when you run with a Go Pro! Oh, and a little fun fact, the old front entrance "Canada's Wonderland" sign is in the background! Some more pieces sitting around (this one is blured because I was in the middle of turning my head...) : And this is what we are getting (bucket included): http://krongblog.blogspot.ca/2009_08_01_archive.html
  7. ^With four pieces of track not being supported by anything, they don't have much of a choice but to get 2 cranes (or 3...I forget how many were used for Levi) and erect them in the same day. I can't see them doing it any other way. And for the record, doing so with Leviathan, took about 12 hours I believe.
  8. After looking at the splash pad on Bing Maps, I can confirm that the splash pad at Wonderland is from Ontario Place. The slide colours are the exact same as well as the structure colours from what I saw yesterday. If you go into aerial mode, you can also see what's left of Topsy Turvey and the splash pad.
  9. More bad news about the 2015 Splash Works expansion.....the new Splash Station is used. I participated in the 5k run today and when we ran past the maintenance area, you could see the "playgorund" in pieces.....all really really faded in colour. Also, only SkyRider's trains have been removed. They are sitting in the maintenance area. The entire coaster still stands. Oh, and I rode WMG for the first time today.....6/10. I couldn't see a thing and the trains move way to fast. If it wasn't for the drop, I would of have given it a 5/10.
  10. Well based of the 2015 map url, the 2015 map was created in October 2013! On that note, I would say the 2016 opening isn't on the map because they didn't know at the time....which is also probably why T3 is in its old colours!
  11. If you take a good look at the POV video, you can see a few bunny hops leading from the station to the lift hill.
  12. https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/RougaBlog Sounds like we haven't seen everything...
  13. ^We don't know if the buyer is a scrap yard....
  14. The last launch piece has just been driven to the crane!!!
  15. Only the turns are! Which still makes it a coaster.
  16. ^As an enthusiast, you should know that a free-fall drop track was first used on roller coasters in 2010. WMG is technically a roller coaster....so.... Also, WMG does not "bounce" up and down, so TOT is completely different....it's just the concept they share. In terms of mechanics, Thirteen and WMG are extremely similar.
  17. Well, vertical drop tracks were first used in 2010 so......
  18. Great review. I haven't been on Guardian yet (going at the end of September just for one visit this year...didn't get a pass) but you have to keep in mind that the ride is unfinished. The project was delayed because of the horrible winter we had and I'm hoping Wonderland will finish the themeing and any other left out aspects this off season. It shouldn't be bad. Probably a max of 30 min waits....but Sunday's are always unpredictable. There was one Sunday in the middle of the summer where it was a ghost town and the next week it was jammed packed (based off what I saw in the parking lot)
  19. ^Given an alternate logo that I found hidden within another url, it's most likely the movie already made by TrioTech. https://www.canadaswonderland.com/images/rides/ZOMBIE4D_header2.jpg http://www.trio-tech.com/portfolio-posts/zombies/
  20. What the hell just happened....
  21. ^Well, when we all thought the ride was going to be scrapped, less than a month. But now that its for sale, that's anyone's guess.
  22. I actually don't think a launched flyer would be good....you'd be looking at the ground the entire time.....maybe it's just me, but I rather be looking forward during a launch.
  23. ^A giant hospital is being built on all that land. I wonder where it will go....
