  1. It honestly shocked me that Six Flags didn't clone that slide complex around their parks. My only guess is that Six Flags didn't like Whitewater West (Which explains why they didn't add more of those spinning rapids rides)
  2. No. If you do this you create a DC area, now you have Justice League, Dark Knight, and Superman out of place. And this is the exact thing you're complaining about... This doesn't fix anything and is a solution to a thing that is only a problem to enthusiasts. Justice League was put out of place b/c of pure bad design. Then they tried the silly notion of the Metroplis area nonsense, which consists of 1 attraction. This would be a start to correcting horrible themed areas i the past. Mardi Gras has been essentially stripped of rides and needs retheming. They could extend consistent themes and just link previous Mardi Gras and Yankee to 1 giant DC area. Giant DC Area: Superman Dark Knight Retheme King Chaos to "Two Face" Add Zamperla Endeavor (Catwoman Whip or Lasso of Truth)to previous Mardi Gras Area Add Zamperla Hawk possibly too as it doesn't take much space Combine the above with Joker - 4D coming in 2017 Batman - V2 - paint it electric blue and call it Mr. Freeze Yankee Clipper - retheme to Penguin Slide Whilygig - relocate it to County Fair in 2018 or 19, replace with Skyscreamer themed Catwoman Whip or Wonderwoman Riddler's Revenge - Zamperla Discovery added in 2018 or 2019 in the area near the flumes/picnic area. The only DC ride out of place would be Justice League. Eventually if they takeout maybe Dark Knight in mid 2020's they could add a launch coaster extending from its' site running behind Raging Rapids. By then Raging Rapids may have run it's life cycle, so a launch coaster could take it's space with that of Dark Knight. Name the launch coaster the Flash. So 1/3 the park becomes DC Land? Yea, not happening. Also, do you think that Six Flags will shell out the extra $$$ to use ALL the DC characters? There are limits to that ya know... It's totally possible and they already have done something like it at SFOT. 7 DC themed rides in Gotham City..Batman, Batwing, The Joker, Riddler Revenge, Catwoman Whip, Harley Quinn, and Mr Freeze. It's one of the most popular areas of the park. They have 3 more DC themed rides..Aquaman Splash and Justice League both in the same area, leaving only Superman Tower not with another DC themed ride. Even the 3 rides not in Gotham City are very close by it and on the same side ofthe park. So having a large part of 1 side of the park DC themed rides is not good design and theme continuity. GP don't care. GP pays the bills. Six Flags cares about things the GP cares about. Having a DC Land won't add money to the coffers. If the GP gave a rats A$$ about themes the park would be a very different place and would have been for the past 20 years. If you want theming, go to Disney. 100% wrong. Themes sell more merchandise. The GP's are the one most likely to suck up the gift shop stuff. You take your kids once a year and you buy them all the junk on that one visit. Btw, you clearly don't understand SF's model, It's get you in the park for cheap and bleed you dry with extras. You're response is silly and a response of being shown what you said can't exist already exists..10+ rides DC themed. So you came up with the an even worse excuse about themes. Btw, if themes don't matter why has SF naming their recent 4D's, skyscreamers, Giant Discoveries after DC characters? LOL Cause a Wonder Woman and Justice League Movie are coming out in 2017? Robb said something on Season Pass Podcast (Ding) that they did IP Video games cause the movie will get a ton of promotion and they'll just ride the publicity (I'm paraphrasing)
  3. My only guess is California's Great America to expand/revamp Boomerang Bay
  4. Wouldn't be surprised to see a flat ride or waterpark addition added. Or maybe soft straps to Mind Eraser or Viper.
  5. Agree with 3 changes: If you relocate Wipeout to another area, You'd have even more room with the Boomerang/Riptide area. Also for the Flat ride in Windseeker's spot, I'm thinking of a Gerstlauer Sky Roller (Like Skyhawk at Canada's Wonderland) And maybe in 2021, a new slide/attraction for Soak City?
  6. Could probably name 50 that are my favorites Least Favorite Mt. Olympus- One of the few parks I leave angry. My sister who isn't a theme park fan even hates that place. I've said it before but I imagine it's the US version of Fuji-Q
  7. Universal Orlando- Just doing the 2 parks 2017- Race Through New York--- Shrek, Terminator Closed/Removed 2018- How To Train Your Dragon replaces Shrek, Madagascar Wonder Circus replaces Terminator----- ET Removed, Dudley Removed 2019- Toon Lagoon refurbishment into SpongeBob Land, Blondies becomes Krusty Krab, SpongeBob Boating School where Dudley was, Fast & Furious added where Disaster/Beetlejuice was---- Kidzone Closed 2020- Gyrosphere Coaster added to Jurassic Park, KidZone turned into Nintendo Land with ET Retheme, Lost Continent Closed down 2021- Potter Phase 3 replacing the rest of Lost Continent with Dementor's Revenge & a Ministry of Magic replacing Sinbad 2022- New Seuss Themed Dark Ride, Cat In the Hat Improvements Ride Types/Renames I'm Thinking Of - Race Through New York (Soarin Simulator) - How To Train Your Dragon (New Simulator film) - Madagascar Wonder Circus (Arthur Like Indoor Suspended Coaster) themed to the Circus scene in the 3rd Film - Jellyfish Fields Rapids (Was Popeye & Bluto) themed to Jellyfish Fields - SpongeBob Boating School (Tame Spiderman Ride) themed to SpongeBob trying to get his Boating License - Fast & Furious Supercharged (Radiator Springs like ride except more intense) - Gryosphere (B&M Either Flying Or Wing Coaster) - No idea about the ET Retheme, I don't play video games - Dementor's Revenge (Next Generation Dark Ride) themed to Dementor's
  8. RMC's version of Switchback RailRoad would be glorious. I was thinking an RMC Version of a Boomerang. Something smaller for size/budget conscious parks/companies.
  9. Just curious for anyone who's been at the park: Any update if the TLC Rides will reopen in 2017 and does the park feel busier than last year?
  10. And me going in 2017 Anyway, Maybe a S&S Mine Train, Junior El Loco, or Family Inverted Coaster?
  11. Very true statement. Dollywood and Magic Springs are no where near comparable. . . The are seriously polar opposites. They're both on hilly terrain. I haven't been to many hilly parks.
  12. My thought on Magic Springs is that it's the Poor Man's Dollywood. Also the park like Wild Adventures is on the surface of the sun.
  13. Didn't ride the soda or soap version, But I would have loved to have done the Soda version. Why the US never got something like that is an insult to everyone.
  14. When I went to DCA, Hollywoodland felt like a filler area. I spent about the same amount of time in Carsland but that's because of Cozy Cone. After The Hollywoodland area, I'd like to see them fix up Grizzly Peak. Okay, what needs to be fixed up in Grizzly Peak? It didn't look run down in the slightest to me. It looked practically brand new. Oh, ya? You mean, like when they did this? Nice! That would explain why it looked practically brand new. Just playing Armchair Imagineering, I'd like to see them add a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to Grizzly Peak. Something to take some crowds from Soarin. I'd also like to see some Animatronics/Water Effects added to Grizzly River Run (It wouldn't work but Winnie The Pooh Animatronics?)

  16. While not rides and probably the same in Orlando, I'd love to go back to DisneyQuest in Chicago. I didn't appreciate it years ago and would have done more games than just skeeball.
  17. It's possible, but seems far more likely that they're simply using it as a quick and easy addition to tap into the comic book market. Plus, Is the Twilight Zone franchise that strong anymore? Also the ride was lightly themed to the franchise. Without the Pre-Show, I would have never guessed it was themed to the Twilight Zone. It could have been called Ghost Hotel and you wouldn't have to change much. Not the biggest fan of the Guardian movie but always down with rethemes to improve.
  18. In Order Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino Stratosphere Hotel & Casino Adventure Dome Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix New York, New York Korean Folk Village Everland Seoulland Children's Grand Park Lotte World Six Flags Great America Cedar Point Six Flags Magic Mountain SeaWorld San Diego Belmont Park Legoland, California Kennywood Idlewild Kings Island Kentucky Kingdom Mt. 19. Maybe they could smoothen out some jerky mine trains like Cedar Creek Mine Ride. I also have a wish that they I-Box some Arrow/Vekoma/Togo rough looping coasters. Imagine an I-Box'd Manhattan Express or SLC? They've made a name of turning rough wooden coasters into smooth wooden/steel coasters. So how about turning rough steel coasters into smooth steel coasters?
  20. I wonder if this will give the park a good boost in attendance. I think especially with the crowded Florida market that they needed to do more besides just VR. A Few Flats for families or a major thrill ride in addition to VR would be awesome. I wish them the best of luck.
  21. If RMC, Would it be Wooden or Iron Horse/I-Box? And I hope that 2017 is the New Old Mill without Garfield.
  22. My only idea is a Premier Rides Tempesto like coaster just 160-170ft
  23. I think they should have added some flat rides in addition to Kraken VR A Zamperla Disk O Coaster... Called Stingray Spin (By the Stingray Area) Larson Flying Scooters... Called Flying Flamingos (By the Flamingos) Mack Twist N' Splash... called Turtle Bay (By the Manatee Area)
