I wonder if they're doing it themselves or if GCI is helping them? -

They could also use an elevator lift to make it quiet -
The Six Park Game
Rollercoaster Rider replied to Rollercoaster Rider's topic in Random, Random, Random
I would like to add one within the first five to six years after taking the park over. Have to figure out how I'll replace all the DC Comics characters and ride names. Justice League would be difficult to convert without scrapping it and starting all over again. Ninja and Boomerang would be removed. You could turn that DC Area area back into Spain and make it a Spanish themed dark ride. Call it Bandit Express -

Game: Careful What You Wish For

Worse Could Happen. Anyway Granted, But you can't remember the outcome and it happens 10x worse I wish EPCOT offered unique non-alcoholic beverages for each area (Including a Frozen themed soda) -
You can pick 3 Cedar Fair and 3 Six Flags Parks, And the name of your company: * Waterparks are excluded * Can include former parks from both chains, Except for attractions like Star Trek Experience For Me: Superstar Parks Great Adventure (SF) Over Texas (SF) Great America (SF) Canada's Wonderland (CF) Kings Island (CF) Knott's (CF)

It's good to see they see they need to increase prices, it's another thing to execute it. People have been very used to the cheap prices which is what has driven the increase in season passes from 30% to 56% since 2010. The question is how much can they increase it and how many pass holders could they lose. Increases price with less holders is fine with me, they just need to keep increasing revenue. I think passes should be like $100 for regular and $150 for gold as the sale price. Increase it by 25% as non sale price. Stop having sales that are virtually continuous. The investment breakdown shows why the ride additions have been cheap clones. 1.24B revenue with 9% capital investment is 108M and 60% of that is for rides means just 64.8M in rides across all the parks. That's how you get 8 cheap superloop clones, some parks occasionally getting just a VR, and no big coasters. It's virtually impossible to build a 20-25M coaster unless you screw a bunch of parks that yr. Revenue would have to explode to get to the 150M and 175M CF has invested the last couple years. SF would have to get revenue near 1.9B. Then, there is the fact stuff they should clone like Sky Rockets III they don't, should have been in 2 or 3 parks besides SFMM. Very cost effective and good ride. How about $80 for Regular and $100 for Gold? I would also not give away free tickets during Fright Fest. Also every park in the chain needs to add 1-2 new haunted houses every year to boost those Fright Fest bands. I also wouldn't be surprised if Six Flags added a Mardi Gras event to all their parks in 2018. Make more revenue from food and alcohol sales. Final Idea: Parks that are open on New Years Eve... Be open until New Years Eve. Why some parks close at 9pm is confusing to me. I'd have them open until 2am personally.

Six Flags in Saudi Arabia

How about our 2 current midwest SF parks, but with excellent operations!? Think what it would be like if St. Louis and Great America ran like a well-oiled machine (like Cedar Point, for example excluding opening day and Halloweekends). Fixed -
Congrats We Have A Winner!!! 100,000 points for not mentioning KD not getting a new coaster Michigan's Adventure 1- Getting bought out by Cedar Fair (All because Kinzel wanted to save his golden child) 2- Cedar Fair cancelling the 210ft DH Morgan Hyper Coaster (Just when DH Morgan was figuring out how to make their hyper's good) 3- Not getting vest trains on Thunderhawk when it was relocated... or since.

Well, even without a thrill ride in the last years they do one record year after another. So their strategy might be not so bad after all...? What's odd is that they build a thrill ride- Minor increase, family attractions- bigger increase. So either the locals hate thrill rides or they won't visit the first year it's built.

How bad were ops at Rolling Thunder? more gripes . . . . regarding Six Flags America 1. Getting hand me down rides from other SF parks (Iron Wolf & Rajun Cajun from Great America) 2. Not buying more land for park ops (they'd have to deal with Prince George's County for more land) 3. No dark ride 1. You didn't last year, this year, or next year. In 2014, The Flying Scooters were new. 2. They have over 300+ acres undeveloped that they own. No idea why they need to buy more land. 3. At Six Flags' rate, give it 5 years.

Will they push your restraints or do you have to do the self hug like at Dollywood?
