  1. Desert Dive seems fine to me. I really don't see Mach Tower as a bad name. Really, if the name's first impressions aren't horrible (which it usually is) then I'm fine with it.
  2. Oasis Plaza existed because Kong was built in the same year as VooDoo and Boomerang. Before recently, you had to climb the hill up by the old Dinosphere building to get to Kong. Technically the Oasis plaza originally featured Cobra and Medusa. Until Medusa and Cobra came, this area did not exist. Thanks for clearing it up. I now know where Kong's old enterance was since there is a odd direction in the queue that goes right up that hill and right next to the path then goes back to the station.
  3. I think in the future that SFDK really needs to bring more of a crowd to the Land section because it is always quiet in most parts. The only ride there that has long lines is White Water Safari on a hot day. Oasis Plaza existed because Kong was built in the same year as VooDoo and Boomerang.
  4. 8/10. Seems to be a decent straightforward username.
  5. ^That looks incredible. I'm getting excited about NL2 just by looking at that.
  6. I know this is a bit far-fetched but I think it would be amazing if Drachen Fire has a "return" in where they built a blue-tracked, grey-supported B&M Wing Ride coaster in the same location and name it Drachen Fire.
  7. Manta reminds me a lot of an extended Senzafiato. I really like the ground hugging design of the coaster.
  8. The permits page shows that a wooden coaster is built, and if they were to build a coaster that wasn't the 2008 proposed wooden coaster, I honestly would think it is a poor decision. They paid GCI to design this, it can be built, so why not build it?
  9. Voodoo was poorly placed and poorly themed. Really, Voodoo is hidden as it's literally in a ditch and is located in a sleepy walkway of SFDK. For a major ride like this, I was surprised to see this where it was located. Also, other than the themed ride structure, all you see is a big concrete slab with some fountains.
  10. Um, this is interesting. Really, nobody visits the Philippines unless they have relatives there. Philippines also is an island nation meaning that there won't be much international visitors to Disneyland. I don't think the country is ready as I think it's classified as a third world nation and with a population of 90 million, I just don't see many people coming. China is a third world nation, but how Disney is successful there is because of the high amount of tourism and population. Honestly, I think the next country that needs Disney is either Brazil or India with large populations and don't have many theme parks. The Philippines already have Enchanted Kingdom which is good enough for the size of the country. Really, I would see Disneyland Philippines being built if Disneyland Vietnam was built.
  11. X-Flight is one amazingly looking B&M coaster. The red and black paint looks spectacular. I'm wondering why the support in the middle of the heartline roll has black and yellow stripes on it?
  12. I'm wondering if it will have a stationary floor or a lowering floor. Since it's an Intamin, I'm guessing it will be a stationary floor. Correction: Twisties!
  13. What really frustrates me is the LIMs since they really need to be updated. Other than that, I would like to see a B&M flyer and Timberliners in No Limits.
  14. Very nice park. I would change the color scheme of the inverted coaster to orange track, yellow supports or red track, yellow supports.
  15. I'm dissappointed that the tunnel had no theming to it, they could've done something like Bizarro (SFNE)'s tunnel or at least theme it a little bit like Goliath (SFMM)'s tunnel.
  16. This looks amazing, it seems like there is a lot of open space that the wooden coaster wouldn't take up.
  17. I would rather see Boomerang removed, well after I get the credit.
  18. I drove by the park and saw the land clearing for myself. I didn't take any pictures as there are way better pictures on this thread.
  19. The new GCI coaster will hide the IMAX theater behind it. I hope that one day they will re-open it.
  20. Park attendance has increased substantiually since 2008. No more 5 minute waits. At least, the park is finally making some good money.
  21. Skyrush can easily be the best coaster built in 2012 unless Knott's builds a giga in 6 months.
  22. Hey, to people like me, there are 17 now! I remember how stoked I was to get 18 credits at the park last year. Well, if you count Gemini as two credits...
  23. My system of seeing if it is a credit is if it's in RCDB plus traveling coasters. I count racing coasters as one credit since it shares the same enterance, shares most of the queue, and most of the time shares the same structure. If the coaster is not part of commercial property, I don't count it as a coaster and I won't ride a coaster in somebody's backyard because of safety issues. I count relocated coasters as one credit, so I tell everyone I rode Stinger before the ride opened even though I never stepped foot in Dorney Park since I rode it in CGA.
  24. KBF Season Pass Facebook Page Im taking bets: Who thinks it will be- A- A Mega Coaster B- A Summer Announcement C- Aqua Trax D- They found Hitler E- AP Event Place your bets! What I really want: Intamin Mega or Giga Coaster What would be nice: Massive GhostRider re-tracking, Boomerang removed for another attraction, Supreme Scream shot tower, Pony Express extended .
  25. I'm not really a big fan of getting my shoes wet as I don't like water rides that much. (not as much hate at Dan ) Did it!
