  1. Sounds like a conflict between software and hardware????? I have the same problem with Roxio 8. It never works, and I gave up using it.
  2. Thanks for stepping up Wes. Very cool.
  3. As if the rest of the ride isn't rough?
  4. Playdoh Technician.
  5. Just like last year, GL gets no love or attention from anyone until they take something out. We're up to 16 pages.....
  6. Ice cream is almost as good as beer. Nice TR Erik!
  7. Two chicks at once.
  8. I make marshmallows.
  9. ^ I know Ted. But when someone that was four years old when Six Flags took over is ranting about a flats selection he probably couldn't recall if he tried, is arguing with someone that probably was old enough remember past ownership, it grinds my gears. Then of course there's the mention of PKI.....it's all becoming clearer now.
  10. You do know who you're asking this of, right? RIGHT?
  11. You guys were screwed if you left SFGAm at 4:30 or 6. It wouldn't of mattered. Our traffic sucks all the time.
  12. I'd take out the Chaos at Indiana Beach, and replace it with a smoking section.
  13. Who needs Bell's? I'm making a run for Bell's in two weeks, for the Great Lakes Beerfest in Racine. Go me. Abra (my wife for those of you not in the know), was appalled at the amount of Octoberfest stuff out already on our Friday afternoon run for beer. Sadly, it means summer is coming to an end. Happily, it means my favorite beer time of the year is approaching! Pumpkin brews.....mmmmm.
  14. Poo. I could have met Scott on Thursday. But Noooo, I had to attempt to fly to Phoenix. Stupid business trip. IB would have been so much more fun. Last week kicked buttocks. I miss Lou and Paul. I'd miss Cameron, but he lives too close.
  15. That's one motley crew if I've ever seen one. Minus one Craig, of course!
  16. No tunnel on the Whizzer, Terrance. Ever. You must be combining coasters. I don't even remember five trains. And I'm old enough for that time period.
  17. Seriously Rick, I think we had no rain for the first time Tuesday afternoon. Just long enough for us to get a nice day in at SFGAm, and Wednesday was nice too. This is ridiculous weather.
  18. The final day of our trip. We'd have a special guest star joining us. Cameron! No wait, as sexy as he is, it wasn't him. Lou was in Chicago on her way to LA for the Japan trip. Naturally, we hit SFGAm, and popped Lou's Six Flags cherry. Crowds were light because of.....you guessed it, rain! This trip was three duck butts awesome. Lou and her wangs. Hi Derek. Is this getting old yet? Luckiest martian ever. El Toro is coming to SFGAm!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Craig showed of his mad skillz at spinning. V2, Cam and Lou. Am I in heaven? I spy three coaster nerds. Still my favorite flat. With the exception of riding Fiddler's Fling with Lou. Mmmmmm. Need I say more? Can't start PTR of this park without this. Can you?
  19. Ah, day three. How can I forget thee. We were going to hit Timber Falls and Little A-Merrick-A on the way back to Chi-town for dinner with Cameron and someone very molestable. I'll just let the pictures do the talking. Meteor. Awesomely smooth. A great family coaster. This was actually my first coaster ride. No wonder it took me 20 odd years to come back to it. Ugh. Ghetto Fabulous. Little A-Merick-A. Should Die. Go me. Paul does Avalanche sad and pathetic style. Avalanche. Nuff said. Back at Timber Falls. Caution to all, avoid the Walmart in Tomah. Scary, scary, scary! Who needs new tires? Could this be the reason? Where are we Paul? Tomah, WI? Awesome!
  20. Day two. Valleyfair. Or, Paul and Matt get wet.....again. Valleyfair was a new stop for both of us. I liked the park's setting, the flat selection was decent, but the coasters were nothing to shake a stick at. Which I would of, had I found a stick. Renegade is Final Countdown awesome and made the visit worthwhile. Wild Thing was just really not impressive, and Excalibur should be put to death. After an hour of rain delay goodness, we hit Renegade a bunch of times and headed out. Tomorrow would prove to be full of excitement. Valleyfair was disco fabulous! Renegade > Buffalo. But Nicole isn't in Buffalo anymore, so we must put this bad joke to rest. Wiiiiii! Renegade. Final Countdown Awesome or Built this City Awesome. Wild Thing. I think you bore me. Wild Thing. You make my heart scream. Corkscrew. Over water! Beware of Canabian coaster nerds. Impulsy goodness. Balls! Final credit of the day. It was open for about an hour due to the rain. I love me a good Enterprise. Hey look, it's raining!
  21. After skipping out on the rest of the Dells due to weather, we headed to Minneapolis for the Park at the Mall of America. Paul had never been, so we had some whoring to do for him. I've always liked this park, just for it's quaintness and how much stuff they've packed in. The price point kind if sucks though. $30 for two meh coasters, a decent log flume, and some blah flats is really a hit to the wallet. With the loss of the Peanuts gang, they've kept the themeing, but changed some of the names. Good lord I hope they come up with some better ones. "Screaming Yellow Eagle?" Please. The night ended with dinner at Hooters. Does it get any better? Boobs. Where is the new coaster going to fit? Locals tell me the fire department has to come out about twice a year to evac this. Paul's a lumberjack and I don't care. Nicely themed. You get sneezed on by Babe the Blue Ox. Strikes fear into your heart, doesn't it. Good lord, not the Screaming Yellow Eagle! Worth the admission? I think not. But Paul and I are sad and pathetic. Best flat ride there. Hands down. Or up. You decide. Welcome to Jurassic Park.
  22. I'll preface this PTR with a quote from Paul (Carnage): CAA is Canada's version of AAA. More on that later. With a special guest set to arrive in the states, Paul came down to visit and to do a little whoring in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I couldn't let the poor Canabian travel alone, so I tagged along. Day one was the Dells, where we hoped to hit up Knuckleheads, Mt. Olympus, and Timber Falls. After two and a half hours of rain at Mt. Olympus, we gave up and moved onto the next stop in Minnesota. Camp Snoopy, errr, The Park at the Mall of America. That just rolls of the tongue doesn't it? I think I know a few Hotards. Best bus name ever! I deem myself moderately moist. Or Hades made me wet. One blurry photo. Check. This PTR is complete by day one. Hades. Through the rain! Phew. Can't get caught for statutory here. Doesn't this look like fun? Cyclops' insane drop. Pegasus from the parking lot. Check. Hades from the parking lot. Check. It was raining at the mountain of the gods. Which would become a theme. The Chariot of Hell would come back to bite us later.
  23. Some of my best pictures are with the wand, Elissa. It's not that I hated the wand, I just liked SSE better without it. Is that fair?
  24. That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.....again.
