  1. I don't know what sort of rings they are, but I doubt they'd take long to install, assuming they haven't been cut altogether. The ride doesn't open until July, so they have time.
  2. It probably is shorter. The Orlando building is clearly larger. It should be better than Hollywood's though.
  3. You're not going to see trains for quite a while. They aren't even done with the station/queue.
  4. Apparently they don't. I've heard the design was changed because Universal didn't like the idea of cars rolling back into the station (the original evac plan.) So what they do now is anyone's guess.
  5. They probably just gave the construction crew all the energy drinks left over from HHN and Mardi Gras.
  6. For the record, that's just a mock-up, not an actual piece waiting to be installed in the park. We have no reason to assume anything is being fabricated off-site.
  7. There's no sense in comparing Wizarding World's construction to Everest's. There's too many variables, and quite frankly, Disney tends to be slow with construction anyway. Even if Universal does have to keep a tight schedule, I wouldn't expect a subpar product. Rowling wouldn't allow it.
  8. That isn't Rockit's crane. They wouldn't use a crane that tall to put up a relatively short building.
  9. See? I knew there was a perfectly logical explanation for all this.
  10. Unless you're a Magic fan. Get your fishing pole, Kevin.
  11. Knowing when to end a joke is just as important as the joke itself. Is it as important as your insistence on proving yourself right? Can you prove me wrong? No? Okay then.
  12. Knowing when to end a joke is just as important as the joke itself.
  13. This really shouldn't surprise anyone. Dubai is just as uncivilized as the rest of the region, it just has prettier buildings. I wish our park franchises wouldn't get involved in this mess.
  14. There won't be anything major. I'm sure they'll "theme" the station in some way, but otherwise it's bare bones.
  15. The joke is starting to wear thin now. In other news.... yes, there is news.... they're finally putting up the final run into the station. All that's left to build now is the lift/drop. Speaking of which, I've heard the lift's problem is actually related to its evacuation system. Still no word on how much this has delayed the project.
  16. These aren't just ordinary LIMS. They're very special LIMS. It can go sideways and slantways and longways and backways and squareways and frontways and any other ways that you can think of. Just like a Wonkavator. But to be serious for a moment.... I'm not really supposed to be telling anyone this, but the real reason construction is taking so long is because they're busy installing an advanced simulation system in the "station." You see, Rockit isn't really a roller coaster. Everything they've put up so far is just a front to make you think you're riding a coaster. In fact, Rockit will be the most realistic simulator ever created. Even the project's inital title, Project Rumble, was part of the swerve. It was, and still is, known internally as Project Milli Vanilli. It's even themed around them. The plot will be very similar to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, where you're treated to a "concert" by the group upon exiting the ride. Rest assured, they're still on schedule. Hope you all enjoy the ride.
  17. So except for one standout match, WrestleMania was basically terrible. Last year's show was much better (and not just because I was there.) Really? I had no idea.
  18. ^ At worst, they'd just have to tear down the facade and rebuild it. It's not like it contains anything important.
  19. I hope they plan on repainting some of those columns. That's a wee bit too much red.
  20. May I ask what "street" you're getting your "word" from? They've been installing track in the station, so yes, there has been progress in the past week.
  21. He was joking. And considering the station has to double as a queue building, it's really not that large. That space is rather small, actually, which explains why it has more than one floor.
  22. There's two coasters right next door.
  23. They're separated only by the soundstages. The brake run can be seen from the bridge between Seuss and LC.
