  1. It's still too early to properly judge all of the houses, but I'm ready to nominate The Thing for House of the Year. They already have that one down to an art. The others need improvement.
  2. Err ... tigers and vampires? Not seeing the relation. That's outside the Freak Show.
  3. Why can't he? And he didn't say you had to share his opinion.
  4. So is The Thing, which is in a much less important building.
  5. I'm not sure how Saw would work as a house. Who would scare you? Jigsaw isn't really scary and his victims would be too busy trying to get out of whatever trap he set.
  6. Hollywood's site has been updated. Still no attraction info. They've also made some changes to the event overview page for Orlando.
  7. Classes? Anyway ... no one said they were changing the name. Just the story in the queue. Don't tell me they aren't planning it, as I've seen the concept art. I also know they were stopping people in a certain part of the queue to see if a new pre-show would be feasible.
  8. Supposedly TCM, Vampyr and The Thing are all highly detailed for non-SS houses. I've heard Friday is somewhat lacking and Jack's Funhouse is the usual cheap funhouse ... as the name implies. Six out of eight ain't bad.
  9. Strongarm is the new E-ticket being installed.
  10. 1.) They are not tearing out DD or altering it's layout. 2.) DD's castle is not Hogwarts. That will be built on the other side of Flying Unicorn. DD's castle can be seen in the far right of the Potter concept art, with a new tent-like structure next to it.
  11. Proof? The entire area DD is part of is being rethemed to Harry Potter. What other proof do you really need? It's new story will involve the goblet of fire, btw.
  12. Just to clarify, there will be no official scarezones this year but they technically still exist. Scareactors are still being assigned to specific areas they aren't allowed to leave, creating the same effect as a scarezone. The lack of official zones is simply due to the streets being integrated into the event's overall theme this year. Everywhere you turn will be the Carnival of Carnage. So far we know Central Park / World Expo and New York will both have large concentrations of actors. I haven't seen confirmation of anyone being cast elsewhere yet. One thing I do know is that the chainsaw team will be back, presumably roaming the park freely.
  13. That information was released weeks ago. In fact, it was all on the map I just posted.
  14. Event Map Every town has an Elm Street
  15. I'll be going many times this year, like I always do, but my first visit is on the 4th.
  16. Impossible. DL's Mansion is closed right now, but I think it's due to the installation of Haunted Mansion Holiday. How does DL's Mansion being closed for the holiday overlay make it "impossible?"
  17. The circus is in town - and here's the construction. http://hhnvault.com/haunts/hhn17_media_construction.htm
  18. Update http://www.halloweenhorrornights.com/orlando/jacks_xtras.html
  19. Small update to the (Orlando) website. There's new Jack audio on the main page and music on the attraction pages. Hollywood's website has also been updated. Big pile of fail. Clown-O-Vision
  20. Uhhm ... Dudley's camel humps are all gravity. Hence why they happen right after drops and not out of nowhere. It's just a flume ride that runs on rails at certain points.
