I agree I'm done with Wonderlands false promises.I wanted to attend both the food truck festival and Oktoberfest as they were promised around the time of buying a season pass. It's very poor ownership for a company to cancel an event then bring it back last minute and then kind of delete Oktoberfest with no mention of it. Now the big addition announcement they did clearly state they couldn't give a timeline into it and it's only been two years. They described land prep which we saw so I'd say just be patient with that.

Signage and review for Halloween Haunt, and Virtual Reality is now for guests to use on Thunder Run for FREE! Small update around Skyrider area. Mazes (ranked) 1. Streets of the Undead 2. Spirit Manor 3. The Ruins 4. Terror of London 5. Blood Shed 6. Louisiana Scream 7. CornStalkers 8. The Asylum 9. SciFi House 10. Club Blood (worst haunt there by far) Virtual Reality booth set up for guests to ride. It's free with the agreement you will sign a waiver and fill out a survey after. Looks like they are turning off the water mains near Skyrider, this is where a bunch of tree's were recently cut down 3 weeks ago. more red markers appeared this weekend in splash works directly across from Skyrider all the trees on splash works side are now marked too front entrance decor, it looks really nice especially with the mountain projectors at night. Medieval Faire haunt decor troll animatronic at the medieval faire bridge was $1 on opening night it's now $2, It was a very popular attraction. The clown sitting on a chair really high above the pond yells insults at guests and you pay to throw balls at a target to try and knock him into the pond. VERY SMART IDEA WONDERLAND! This is the high "sink the jerk" attraction This maze is unique but not that great this year. Little scares and the other 4 main mazes that got serious upgrades make this one a lack luster now! 5/10 Rating okay wow, The Ruins is some serious movie set this year. They went in there and made a permanent like movie set lol. There's concrete/ stuco walls that make it look like a cave and some old like Indiana Jones movie set props down there. The masks have small animatronic parts to them for the Medusa look ing monsters. 10/10 Another Movie set looking maze. This one has a very high ceiling making it look like you are actually walking through some old streets of London. This one also has sound effects with scares like they do at Universal Studios at one part. 10/10 OH MY SATAN! This haunt attraction is up there with Universal Studios! It has special effects, it has set designs that I have never seen before and it looks like they built a huge mansion just for this one attraction. They have stairs and rooms and studies and props out of a movie. For appearance this one wins with a 10+/10 Best Maze of the night goes to this one. Scare after scare after scare. There was one part where 3 people jumped out at once from absolutely no where and scared the crap out of all 5 of people in my group. I went with my co workers and they all agreed this one was the best. Although not the best set designs but still impressive with a fake subway station and shopping mall this one is the scariest maze there.

Thank you! Try 17 years like we have had at Darien Lake. That's a real coaster drought. Note: Motocoaster was added in 2008 but it is a family coaster, I'm talking about major coasters. omg I know, we have a serious coaster drought at Canada's Wonderland KD fans

I honestly think if we get a coaster anytime soon, it's going to be a Mack. I feel like every time you "speculate", you change the manufacturer and model of the coaster that you *think* will come to the park, and you change it on a close to daily basis. When was the last time CF went to Mack? The only reason you beleive the next coaster will be a Mack is because you want it to be a Mack. This is the kind of speculation that leads to the bashing of a new coaster because people expected something ridiculous based on nothing but their own wants (see Cedar Point & Valravn bashers). This thread is a bit tiresome to read because by now we have "speculated" almost every manufacturer/model combo in existence for 2017 or 2018. /endrant I agree, like atleast have signs of a coaster coming like Canada's Wonderland does to speculate that you're getting one. Land clearing, tree removal, and holes/ markings. Also follow Wonderlands timeline of a coaster after our standup was removed for a new coaster.

Small update, There is a small hole dug next to Skyriders location along Timber wolfs Path, more another tree was removed on Skyriders plot, this time a massive one. Splash works was blocked off even the locker area, despite us thinking it may stay open in that area since the place is blocked off with the new entrance already. A spray painted marking +L4L appeared on the skyrider path. +L4L small hole didn't realise I captured such a bad picture of it big tree removed on skyriders plot of land, every weekend more trees are gone bushes and trees removed, replaced by cheap plants.. big wall put up to block off the already blocked off splash works lol lockers blocked off too

your right and your wrong. It would be aimless if the park wasnt doing land clearing and activity wasn't going on. You are right that we are kind of ignoring these new additions. I guess this is whaty you get when a company spoils a park???

My guess is Minebuster is a future renovation, 2017 is going to complete the trio most likely of Ziz, Behemoth and Leviathan

Dont forget about those people that looked like officials that you saw at the exit of Minebuster scoping out the area that you mentioned to me on FB Yeah they scoped out Minebuster a bit then went up the exit and rode it... I mean it could have been anyone but one things for certain is this project is massive in scope now and we all know what Wonderland says about it's tree's They try very hard not to remove any, but yeah Not to jump to conclusions but I bet they are either from GCI or RMC

Update From September 12, 2015 More tree removal on/ near Skyriders plot of land, lots of trees and plants were removed in what I THINK is land prep for the que line area for the possible 2017 coaster. There were two orange flags across from Skyriders plot of land in splash works. I don't think were going to see much more land work until May 2016 when I'm sure we will see fences and signs like we did in May the season before Leviathan. I'm sorry to the other parks enthusiasts who think a coaster isn't coming in 2017 to Canada's Wonderland but there is way to much land work done in that area and it's extended outwards to cover a very large area. Another interesting yet could be nothing thing to mention is there was a tree cut down (the only tree) at the highway entrance into the park, somewhere I highly suspect a possible hotel to go. Halloween Haunt wise, the park is moving fast, I managed to get some pictures of the new haunt the pictures make it look tacky but in person it's amazing and very large and a lot of money went into it's set you can tell. tree removal, opening this area up to Skyriders plot of land soil thrown down here trees go bye bye look how open it looks now with the trees removed, cough cough que line area and new midway over there is what I suspect. entrance plaza with bridge to que line maybe for 2017? orange markers in splash works across from Skyrider Cornstalkers brand new haunt in action theater, looks amazing close up of new haunt wow okay I was wrong more then 3 trees were removed, compare to this picture so much removed from this area, comparison shots from last season to now. over view of land clearing

Here's a map that shows our water park expansion in 2015, where Sky Hawk is going and all the land clearing going on from an updated google maps picture actually showing the land clearing. Like I said when there's this much land clearing going on in 2015 and the 2016 attraction isn't taking it's spot, and we know water park expansions don't require this much time/ prep as you can see from Carowinds, It's pretty safe to assume from the news articles and construction itself that we are a park getting a coaster in 2017

fast lane plus and you will love it. Stay for the night time starlight spectacular and take the day slow. don't rush rides enjoy the shows the resturaunts and the water park along with maybe an afternoon nap and you will survive the old head bangers and have fun

Halloween Haunt Announcement; Have to be honest I love how Canada's Wonderland does it with the mail boxes themed to the houses on the Haunt House Discontinued Clowns at Midnight and changed Massacre Manor to Spirit Manor. So in reality no new haunts, and we lost a haunt... Yet the park reaches capacity during haunt. Interesting, I think were going to see Scare Zones that are good finally now. Jurassic World is also being displayed tonight presented by Pay Pal Jurassic World being shown at Canada's Wonderland tonight
