  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPoYhwbIE7Q More track arriving
  2. https://www.instagram.com/canadaswonderlandfan/ Check out my Instagram for photos from today and previous days on construction. Parking lot has some construction activity in it now, and lots of work on the 2019 coaster!
  3. mini update. Footers are now being dug for the Vortex side. Digging for the tunnel continues and the size of the tunnel grows. The track on site is 10 bolts by 10 bolts which is actually larger then Valravn by a bit.
  4. lol you can leave now... So tell me this, what's the construction company called, cause I know who it is.
  5. ummm I'm going to go ahead and say no to that lol
  6. Coming to Canada's Wonderland in 2019... Double, Double the Dive Coaster. Hop on in and lock yourself in for the the most exiting Canadian drive thru experiences as you start your journey diving into a Tim Hortons drive thru as you pick up your double double on your journey to save a moose and end the journey stopped on the break run themed to the highway 401 stand still traffic! End your experience in our gift shop called “Ontario government” where you’re not allowed to leave till you buy water and pay for heating and electricity!
  7. You sir, have had too much to drink.
  8. Dueling dive coasters Im in agreement with a Dive Coaster but something is telling me this is not a Dive Coaster! Yes the land size, the size of track, I've overlooked a few of the track designs online and it seems very very similar to the same track design they have used for Winged Coasters! So therefore I'm not putting a winged coaster out of question yet I think this coaster is going to span in around the old Skyrider site (Station, Lift, and Underground Fly through, then I think it's headed right towards the White Water Canyon/forest area out behind the Theatre and in around the old Dino's Alive area and back in towards Timberwolf Falls and back into the starting area. The colour of the track is awesome as it would match all the forested area's in around the out and back section of the ride. Not only would I think this would be awesome it would also add in even more fun to see this thing while driving along the 400. Im not sure why they would be digging in around the Mindbuster unless that's maybe how they are going to be bringing in another extra Power supply from a source on that end of the park. I know a power supply would have been kept their from Skyrider days but might need more juice for even a bigger badder coaster! Either Way Dive or Winged(Really Hope!) this is exciting as opening an unknown Christmas Gift and being so thrilled with joy! Behind Action Theatre is now Winter Fest storage and has a permanent building being built. No signs of construction moving north or south of Skyriders plot. The 5 pieces of coaster track on site are in the form of a very smooth slow climb out of a drop (I.E. Dive coaster). The 5 pieces are for the tunnel and on site early cause the tunnel needs to be installed before April due to them needing to open Vortex up again and make the center of the park less of an eye sore before season opening. Guys, a dive coaster is perfect for the park and that one dude going around online claiming this is an Invert needs to shut up and grow up lol Yes, this could be a new style ride blah blah blah, but as of right now we have a tunnel permit and trench permit filed for a tunnel under the pond. We nw have extremely thick track on site and a smaller plot of land being utilized. I'm sorry but all of this really does scream Dive Coaster and some of you need to chill lol You're dreaming too big and it's going to lead to you setting yourselfup for disappointment despite receiving an amazing B&M something at your park!
  9. Knott's has among the highest attendance in the chain and they keep putting in low-cap coasters, so I don't know if such things matter to Ouimet. Knotts has barely the highest attendance in the chain compared to wonderland, in fact this was the first year they beat us. NOW with that being said. Wonderland is open for 5.5 months a year and Knotts is open for 12 months. So basically the same attendance numbers in half the time is insane!!!
  10. https://www.instagram.com/canadaswonderlandfan/ Hey guys, go check out my instagram account for all the in-depth coverage of construction and track arrival, ect.
  11. I don't get why people are so damned butt hurt over this. If you are please read this post! So since Cedar Fair has taken over Canada's Wonderland has been the center of a lot of love and attention. Behemoth, Leviathan, Wonder Mountain Guardian, Thrill Rides galore, Family rides/ Kids expansion (our kid's area is so big it has more kids/ family rides then even Disney World). Dinosaurs Alive, Restaraunt upgrades, Amazing shows/ Events, Splash Works investments and now another big coaster with a resort and WinterFest coming. So seriously, at this point shut up or I'll seriously find a way to make you move to Michigan and have your home park be Michigans Adventure! We have one of the most beautiful parks, great food options for seasonal parks, massive collection of rides and coasters that keep on improving/ growing and the best lineup of shows and events. Our "Dive Coaster" has a confirmed tunnel and possible trenches listed in the permit, it's our third B&M since 2008 (expensive $$$) and we continue to be spoiled by a chain that is pouring money into our park. Look at what they're doing this off season currently; 1. 2 flat rides & a splash works upgrade 2. catering facility over haul with Canadian theming, 3. Mountain refurbishment, 4. washroom upgrades, 5. construction on a massive coaster, 6. resort coming, 7. building storage for WinterFest coming... THAT'S A TON OF MONEY AND INVESTMENT. So enjoy what we have, be happy aboout coasters coming, and don't jump to conclusions till they announce the ride, and you ride the ride.
  12. My guess would be extensive theming. This is a very important area of the park they're building on. Firework shows occur here and it's a very picturesque area of the park.
  13. I think we all forgot how much media attention Valravn got. It was an internet sensation.
  14. I'm not expert but with the coaster track next to Vortex Track and even the steel support beams for Vortex this screams B&M Dive Coaster. Brown, similar to Valravn as well. I'm not sure why this project is moving extremely fast...
  15. It appears we missed a little detail of tunnel/ trench areas (plural).
  16. Go check out a more up to date video on construction so far!
  17. January 26, 2018 You can see some footers poured, you can see the rebar metal that they turn into footers being assembled, you can see a crap ton of land prep and digging all over. They appear to be moving in between Vortex and Timber Wolf Falls now with tree removal and digging. There were also a couple of holes in between the river and Minebusters Queline.
  18. Oh I have no idea about the layout but today it was obvious where station is and lift hill footer is. It appears to have a typical insert for the lift support beam to go down into and is very close to where theyre putting the station
  19. FOOTERS AND STATION being dug/ poured. I am really, really, really curious as to why construction is starting in January, 2018 for a coaster opening May, 2019... Valravn started in October, 2015 to open in May, 2016. This is really strange. https://www.instagram.com/canadaswonderlandfan/ has zoomed in pictures and constant updates.
  20. Construction has moved South to near Minebuster, most of Vortex's turnaround is now removed. Very windy day and the footage was poor quality. Will head back up this week when wind is lower
  21. I sure hope that they don't remove it. I don't know much about the ride and its reliability but its clone, the Bat is still in operation and is doing well (minus the lift motor that blew in August). Hopefully if it is removed, Cedar Fair Does not start removing Arrow coasters......anyone else know more? Theyre not removing Vortex, its for temporary access to construct a tunnel for a new coaster
  22. It's not on their property, that I can gurantee. They have a perimeter fence installed and i simply fly up and down. What you're seeing is I just upgraded from my 1080 p drone to a 4k drone with lenses for zooming and filters. I literally goto 80-90 meters in the air and fiddle around with camera settings and film/ snap. In all my videos on my Youtube you can see what I do in detail plus there's too many construction personel and the security guards are always out so it would be too risky Also, if at any point the park asked me to stop, I would stop.
