  1. I'm a little unclear about how you got your toes broken "by an idiot in 3 inch disco shoes". Just thought I'd ask. Thanks for sharing this little known information with us!
  2. Maverick X2 Top Thrill Dragster Griffon Terminator
  3. Yes, all you need is a valid account on Theme Park Review and you are eligible to go to West Coast Bash. Have fun!
  4. ^Remember when you could actually have consistant operations at a Six Flags park? Maybe even in the offseason?
  5. ^I was just thinking the exact same thing!
  6. Every former Paramount Park has a Drop Tower. If you don't believe that please go on Canada's Wonderland's website by all means.
  7. So then why would Cedar Fair be talking about selling CGA in a quote if what your saying is the case then? Just thought I'd see what your take on it is.
  8. ^Yep. That's pretty much how I would look at it. Everything is pretty much in order for the final blow to happen.
  9. I don't know what would make you think that I was being sarcastic. Don't you think having a grass area is much nicer that an area of cement and switchbacks? I sure think it's much nicer. The full article can be read here: http://www.wksu.org/news/story/27583 Something gives me the feeling that this isn't going to work out... The fourth quarter conference call press release can be read here: http://www.cedarfair.com/ir/press_releases/index.cfm?current_root=15&mode=story&story_id=281
  10. Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain on November 26th.
  11. ^They sure made good use of that land by just putting grass in that area. How long did they have three train operation?
  12. I love it when ride ops mess with poeple! I was at the park last year on April 2nd, 2010 and some really funny things happened in line while I was waiting in line for Vortex. Once in the station, I notice that there is someone there (a supervisor I guess) in the station training a guy that was new to the ride and working there. So while this guy is being trained, I'm boarding the coaster and after the guy in the main booth locks the restraints, he unlocks them on accident. The supervisor notices and very loudly yells, "What are ya doing?!!" so the guy in the booth replies humor and goes on the PA system and says, "all the buttons look the same". So some guests are saing "yeah, don't do that will the ride is going", then the ride operator replies "if you misbehave, were gooing to have some problems". That gave me a few laughs. Just so I don't get in trouble for brining up another park in a SFMM thread, does anybody thing that Deja vu will be done with rehab before WCB? I sure hope it will.
  13. So then why is Demon at SFGA all black and CGA is black but with red rails? Just thought I'd ask.
  14. I had this one bizzare and hard to rmemeber dream where I was at a park that I guess was suppose to be cedar Point, but looked totally off from what Cedar Point actually means. It seemed to be at the valley of a mountainous range (kind of like Magic Mountain but more dramatic). Anyways. I saw that they have a two coasters there right off the bat, they had Superman The Escape and Top Thrill Dragster. They were both rihgt next to each other and Superman looked *slightly* taller. I toured the park a little bit, then woke up.
  15. Anyone notice how in some pictures the ride is red, but in others it's white?
  16. I few weeks I'd say for this one here. Nothing I would think that couldn't be completely assembled by West Coast Bash.
  17. ^Looks like you'll be getting some good shots from Medusa.
  18. If you purchased on PayPal, do you get any conformation from TPR? Like an email of some sort. Please tell me as I'd hate to show up only to realize that our tickets weren't processed. Thanks.
  19. You can't really be too sure. It's quite hard to tell if they did or not judging from that picture. If they were to widen it, they wouldn't have to widen it too much. I don't think you can really judge if they did or not from the picture(s) they've posted. I suppose we'll find out soon enough. Until then, fingers crossed.

  22. Sorry if this has been posted before, but what has happended to the former Papa John's locations? Hace they just been given more generic names? Also, has anyone actually tried the pizza and seen how they taste?
  23. Were all the operations acceptible? I realize that you only rode one coaster and Orient Express, but I was just wondering how SFMM responded to high levels of crowds this early in the year. Thanks.
  24. I really enjoy, Roller Coasters: A Thrill Seekers Guide to the Ultimate Scream by Rober Coker. I really enjoy this book for its pictures, commentary, and information it offers on roller coasters. It's also a book that I still read through often even though I've memorized pretty much every word in the book by now.
