It even called NEW Texas Giant. Of course its a new coaster. I would love to see a new coaster but I just don't see it being this year. Unless its a relocated coaster. It's probably just going to be some flat rides and a skyscreamer. Maybe the DC area expansion. A cool wingrider themed to a DC comic would be awesome for 2014

SFOT - You're Fired!!
Mrlittle replied to caruss866's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been to SFOT twice this season. I had no problems with employees or the rides. The theming and cleanliness is actually not bad for a Six Flags. I remember using a restroom in SFOT and actually saying "this restroom is really clean". Both trips, I had employees joking with me. Overall I enjoyed both of my trips this season. -

Six Flags Themed Areas: Does anyone care?
Mrlittle replied to texcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love theming on a coaster. I always think it adds to the ride experience. Sometimes it's as simple as just the station or things on the ride. Whatever the case may be, I love theming. Six Flags as much as they want to fight it, is known for coasters. They should just stick with that. I don't mind them adding a few things for theming to the coaster. I will say that one of my favorite themed coasters was at a Six Flags park. It was Joker's Revenge at SFFT. I just loved the fun house you had to walk through before you got to the ride. The ride itself was not that fun. I wonder if the GP even notices the themed areas at a Six Flags. -

Great photos. I have Skyrush at #6 on my top 10. The ejector out of your seat air time it has is amazing. Even up to that final small bunny hill. I can't wait to see your Knoebels photos. I love that place. -

That was a wicked awesome report -
I just watched a Rattler POV.(made my back hurt just watching it) But while I was watching it, I totally forgot about the tunnel. I know its probably been said before, but that would be an awesome place for the inversion or just an awesome double down coming out of it. They have so many options for this coaster. Even if all they did was larger version of NTAG, I be happy since SFFT is closer to me. The excitement level is rising.

Photo TR Disaster Transport Closing Day

Nice report, I always enjoyed Disaster Transport when I went. It's always sad to see any coaster go but of course the replacement looks very good. Also Blue Streak looks great with its new paint job. -

New Amusement Park planned for... Tracy, CA?
Mrlittle replied to XYZ's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think they be better off in a location with no competition like say Houston, Texas. A city in desperate need of a theme park. 1.2 Billion would probably get you a lot more here in Texas as well. I'm just saying. But like you said, I'm sure its not going to happen. -

Some great photos of the trip. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I didn't think it was that bad but I crossed my legs during the last few rides and that really seem to help. I want to go back and ride it at least. Yes, I was so happy I decided to ride it again at night. The blindness during the ride made it better. I agree. This is how I start every conversation when someone ask "How was your theme park trip?" It was worth every dollar and now I am hooked.
