  1. Thanks for the responses guys! I have my fingers crossed. With 12 mazes (13 including trapped) It is just a lot to do in one night. Cyrus
  2. Hey y'all. I am going to Knott's tomorrow for Haunt. What kind of crowds should be expected? My hopes are that with it being a Wednesday night, and with schools in session, there won't be a lot of long waits for the rides and mazes. It is my partner's and my 2nd year Anniversary. So we wanted to do something in the Spirit of the date for fun to celebrate! Cyrus
  3. I highly doubt it's accurate. Those wait times seem highly improbable even for a busy day. If the lines were like that there would be two trains running which definitely means the waits would be nowhere near that.
  4. You will want to email them via their contact form.
  5. Must say, I am EXTREMELY excited about the test dummies! That is awesome! We have been needing that option for a long time! It is so cool we can really get in depth with the building process now and really add testing. I am such a dork when I build my new coasters and I love the idea of testing them for a long period of time before opening them! That is awesome! Thanks guys! cyrus
  6. I think that Apple doesn't include the spoken turn by turn because of the processor that is inside of the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4s processor is a bit faster and then the iPhone 5 has the A6 that is awesome for a mobile device. They didn't include the spoken turn by turn on the iPhone 4 I am sure because it would have been too laggy and glitchy. Apple likes their devices to run smoothly and efficiently. This is something that Android doesn't do. Not to mention, the Android app store doesn't review the content of Applications before being released into the App store for downloading, there for, a lack of security, combined with software that could include harmful pieces within it can make it dangerous to put private information on your phone. I am not saying that one is better than the other, because at the end of the day, there is no argument, Android users like their phones for their reasons, and iPhone users enjoy their phones for their own reasons. It is not up to anyone to sway a decision or argue which device is better. Cyrus
  7. So we are currently at fright fest, and I must say, it is a HUGE let down. The reviews I have heard so far made it sound fantastic. The mazes have thus far been horrible. We have done willoughbys, blackout, black widow, and jokers. They have been too short, anticlimactic, and dull. I feel I have wasted money on the express pass but at the same time, if I had paid money to stand in long lines, I would have been extremely upset. I hope the night starts to get scarier because this has been a cometely underwhelming experience. I would strongly suggest finding your tickets for Universal Halloween Horror Nights. Don't bother with Six Flags. Universal is WELL worth the money. Six flags will just disappoint you if you're a horror fan.
  8. ^^ I'm curious of the same thing. I am downloading it for my iPhone right now. I am going to upgrade for sure. I actually am a specialist at the Apple Store in Bakersfield, CA. September 21st is our grand opening as well as launch day! It should be a pretty busy day for us. I am not allowed to buy the phone until after my shift and I have to wait in line like everyone else, but I sure hope we get enough in. The new screen technology is pretty cool, I like that it is 18% thinner than the 4s, the A6 chip makes it double the speed of the 4S, and it is compatible with LTE. I am kinda happy the phone comes with the new ear pods as well. From the reviews, they are better than a pair of bose headphones. Cyrus
  9. From my understanding, they are calling it a top hat because it traces the top of the loop. That's why all the advertisements show the term top hat in parenthesis. Making it LITERALLY a "top hat" to the loop. First ever maneuver. Cyrus
  10. Now this impressed me MUCH more than Full Throttle. I liked Rattler when I was younger so Definitely will be heading back next year for a ride on this. How impressive. The minute long video on screamscape gave me goosbumps!
  11. Not that it will make a difference, but maybe the fact it is a shorter ride will have it opening sooner. MAYBE! One can hope lol. All in all, It is alright. I like it. Looks fun.
  12. It looks like a fun ride. I don't know what I was really expecting, however this coaster really didn't "wow" me. Like I said though, It does look like a fun ride. It fits in nicely as well to the park. Cyrus
  13. In my opinion I think this will be a focal point, the loop with the top hat, however One of the rumors I heard from someone in upper management that saw the coasters concept a while back, there are two records. most launch sections and biggest loop. I am really hoping this is true because like most everyone else is saying, there is only two elements and more like superman at SFDK, it will be a huge disappointment.
  14. See I hear Biggest inversion and most launch sections. That's what I have been hearing on the rumors. I agree, I am almost positive it is Intamin. I did heard to look for something similar to Maverick. I think it will be on a bigger scale though. Let's just hope! Any updates on that Slingshot Ride?
  15. I heard from sources it was going to be an Intamin. They could have just said B&M at the Q&A to throw people off.
  16. Make it available! THESE are the models we like to see!
  17. Thanks Jason, I will have her put it up for $15 to $20 and hopefully she will get that for it! I appreciate you taking a look!
  18. I am trying to figure out how much this item is worth. It belongs to my friends mom and we need to get an idea of what it is actually worth. I searched hard for the item, but no luck. So now I am asking you guys for help! Thank you!
  19. It IS a flash pass attraction. Great update! Headed there tomorrow with another TPR member and some friends to check it out! can't wait!
  20. The tower is 415 feet. The track looks like it is about 15 feet below the top of the tower which is where the ride is stopping. They said this was the TALLES DROP RIDE. That means the drop tower itself is 400 feet. Look at similar tower rides, the catch car takes up the top of the ride followed then by the gondola. It seems like there is just too much comparing of the Superman Tower and the Lex Luthor Ride being compared. If Lex was its on entity, then I'm sure there would be far less conversation because no one would be able to compare it to the Superman Tower. Dissect it a little bit and pretend they are separate towers. A 400 Foot Drop ride tower is unbelievable in itself. That is still 10 feet taller than the current record holde, Which, I'm sure is a 390 foot tower. So obviously the car isn't going to be falling the full 390 feet. Just like on Lex, the Catch car is going to be closer to the top than then gondola. It's all relative.
  21. I've been signed up for that newsletter since I got my pass, and even had someone in guest relations re-add me to the list of people to receive it and I STILL don't receive it. so frustrating!
  22. Awesome renderings! They look great! You've got some cool designs there!
  23. Ok, That is all cool if you don't like being the one to go on opening day. I do. It isn't just about riding the ride. It's about seeing all the people and experiencing the fun of a new opening. It's about finally riding a ride that you've been dying to ride. The fact you literally just called me an idiot for enjoying something like this was a lowball remark and incredibly immature. I know this is a forum for sharing our opinions, but you don't have to dog someone for enjoying something you don't. There are a million other ways you could have shared your opinion on why you don't like opening day rather than quoting me and saying people like me are idiotic for going on opening day. I got to preview cars land a week before that opened, but you know what, I SURE DID go to the opening day on June 15th too because for me it is an experience. And it is about that experience. Cyrus
  24. I think the frustrating thing for people really has to do more so with the fact that people made plans, requested off work, got a group together, had everything planned ahead to go and to postpone it like this so late in the game is so unprofessional. They really shouldn't have plastered the June 30th date on Television commercials, radio stations, websites, etc until they absolutely knew for sure that they were going to have it open on the advertised date. Personally I am upset because we had the whole day completely planned out and the new opening date conflicts with another obligation. Everyone is going to have their own reasons why this is upsetting to them. Cyrus
  25. Anyone register yet for any of the exclusive ride times?
