Cool Coaster Names
socalMAN123 replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My coaster would be a Power Surge on a track. The lift hill would be about 100 feet so no maximum G-forces would be pulled. I have no clue what I would call it, but if you could give me a ride name, that would be cool. ---Brent 8) -

Has a frisbee acidendatly flipped upside down before? I think it would be fun and scary at teh same time because what if the swing snapped off and you slammed into the ground? ---Brent 8) -

^The Jelly Belly Factory tour is awesome! When your waiting for your tour to start, you can try out all of the flavors of Jelly Belly ever made. The tour is cool and you can see how they are made and some of the amazing artwork they do with simple jelly beans. ---Brent 8) -

Steel Dragon 2000
socalMAN123 replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Does anybody know when Steel Dragon closed? All I know is that the wheel flew off and hit somebody in the head and they have closed it since but when did it happen? ---Brent 8) -

Another thing that is fun to do in SF: go biking across the Golden Gate bridge. I don't know if you want to do this because it requires a lot of physical activity, but there is a rest stop at the end of the bridge and several stops before the bridge. Just another fun thing to do in San Fransisco. The Exploritorium is awesome! Tons of fun science expierments and at night, when the museum is closed, you can expierence for a small price, the Tactial Dome where you have to use all of your senses except for sight going through pitch black tunnels feeling, smelling, and hearing. It's really fun, but can get scary for some little kids. My older sister made us get out of the maze because she got really scared of not seeing where she was going. ---Brent 8) -

"American Idiot" by Green Day works for pretty much any video. I used it to make a Socal Coasters video and it mixed with the music pretty well. ---Brent 8) -
Italian job review
socalMAN123 replied to thrillrider1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It doesn't look like it goes that fast. Maybe the fastest speed is a little faster than Jaguar @ KBF, but probably no higher. Still looks like a fun ride though. Is the "stairs" effect supposed to make it feel like your bouncing down the stairs by making the cars move up and down? ---Brent 8) -

Vekoma Haters
socalMAN123 replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Same with me. If there is rides that I really don't like, I'll do them once or twice for the credit, but no more than that. Actually, the Boomerang @ KBF isn't the worst Vekoma I've been on. ---Brent 8) -

SCBB is a great park for your family! Sometimes there are rowdy teenagers, but that usually doesn't happen. Giant Dipper and Hurricane are great credits and the other rides are awesome too! We went there late afternoon into night, and it wasn't that bad. I would think it would be fine for your family. As for Bonfate and SFMW, I know nothing about them, so you should ask somebody else. ---Brent 8) -
Ride You Felt Was Unsafe?
socalMAN123 replied to Mr Stratosphere's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^That ride looks cool! I absolutely hate ferris wheels (except the swinging carts on the Sun Wheel)! I can do Zippers, which is almost the exact same thing as a ferris wheel, but I just can't take the regular ones. I always think that our bucket would snap off and I would have to wait until I hit the ground to die. ---Brent 8)
