Darien Lake? Nice looking Water Park. That last attraction you showed looks a bit like a lazy river slide.

^Anyone else have that many Aqua Loops? Those slides terrify me, but that's a great addition to their waterpark.

...and Tim Connolly is now a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. A bit of an over payment, but that seems to be the going theme this year, and at least it's not a huge long term deal. ^Dark of the Moon was awesome! Michael Bay definitely upped his game. There's more build up involved before really getting into it, rather than just blowing things up right from the get go. Once it really gets going it's insane!

^It's kind of a similar situation where they voted against re-zoning the land. It may have been only a couple months ago, but I figured it was unlikely anything would happen, and it may still be that way.

So Orlando Thrill park pretty much dies, but now this seems to come back from the dead at the same time.

Why would they choose Winter Haven when there are so many prime locations around Orlando for their next few proposals to be rejected with. Touchez!

I'm sure they won't abandon the entire idea completely. They will probably look for another location for this park in the central Florida area first. Maybe Kissimmee. But here's a thought. What if they built near the new Legoland? While Legoland is aimed more for kids, the thrill park could give the more thrill seeking type something as well. What if they were to work out some combo deal with Legoland? The family could visit Legoland together during the day, and then in the evenings, the thrill seekers could visit the thrill park. Maybe if they offered some child care service as part of this deal, so the parents could just drop them off and enjoy the park, I think that might work. That being said, I still stand by what I said in October.

How long until someone falls out of the raft, drowns, and the park gets sued? Nice TR though.

Also, the Hawks have sent Brian Campbell to the Panthers for Rotsislav Olesz. There's apparently been a deal to send Ryan Smyth back to Edmonton with the Kings receiving Gilbert Brule back, but Kevin Lowe wouldn't confirm it. And before the draft, the Leafs traded for John Michael Liles from Colorado in exchange Bostons 2nd round pick in 2012 as part of the Kaberle deal. I can't imagine Burke is done yet.
