  1. ^I've ridden three RMC coasters, and have been impressed by each of them: New Texas Giant, Twisted Colossus, and Goliath (which is the weakest of the group, but still a very good ride).
  2. ^^I gave up on the second video after seeing the guy's mustache.
  3. A personal pet peeve.
  4. Speaking of Pat Jones, here's the official press release regarding her replacement.
  5. I know that "hard-core" park and coaster enthusiasts tend to dislike Soarin', but I rather enjoy it (nice and relaxing). Other guests like it because almost all age groups can participate, and it delivers a mild thrill. My parents loved it at DCA. That being said, I wouldn't wait for hours to ride it.
  6. The next time I'm in Paris, I'll definitely check out the Catacombs. Say hello to the gargoyles at Notre Dame for me (they are pretty cool).
  7. I just cleaned this thread of some of its rudeness. Let's conduct ourselves in a civil manner, please--no flame wars. Thank you.
  8. Agreed--looks like a great ride in a beautiful setting.
  9. And they both go way beyond "an acceptable level of wetness."
  10. Yeah, it looks like they put a dragon statue in DCA's Grizzly River Run.
  11. That video would explode YouTube. I have yet to ride Falcon's Fury and would love for this to be my first time on it.
  12. Replacing Mean Streak with a Dippin' Dots stand would be a distinct improvement.
  13. Kong looks great--better than I'd expected. Curious to see how the actual ride turned out.
  14. They had nowhere to go but up. That being said, this looks like a good park.
  15. Yeah, but let's not give them too much credit, it's not like could have just bulldozed the mountain or anything, or maybe they could have I don't know. THis thing looks insane. Hmm--I would give them lot of credit. It's one thing to build a coaster on a flat piece of ground; it's quite another to have to deal with hills, rock outcroppings, and other natural features. I'll give them tons of credit also if this thing opens on June 18th!!! That, too.

  17. Circus Clown--Oakwood
  18. X:\No Way Out--Thorpe Park
  19. Looks like a very good coaster for Adventureland--the layout is completely crazy!
  20. Scorpion--Busch Gardens Tampa
  21. Yep--I've moved the posts to the older thread. Discuss the topic to your hearts' content here. Thank you.
  22. We have lost "The Greatest." RIP Muhammad Ali.
