  1. Huh? They installed new digital projectors when they made the change to Europe in the Air.
  2. ^Yep--hard to believe, eh? That was a great day, too.
  3. That would make it "Throw Up in the Air."
  4. ^Is that church under it "Our Sacred Lady of Raptor"?
  5. The exterior of the Matterhorn has never looked better, and adding a single-rider line was a great idea. As for Harold the Abominable Snowman, well, at least he can still move.
  6. Looking forward to hearing more about what's going on at Wild Bill's, Larry.
  7. ^I like Viper a lot, too--the best of the Cyclone clones, I think. ERT on it back in 2010 was great (especially after a nice thunderstorm).
  8. I liked Prometheus overall, but it still can't hold a candle to the original Alien.
  9. I'd like to see an El Loco at the Boardwalk--especially if it features the more comfortable cars of the Green Lantern ride at Movie World. I really like the layout of these rides, but S&S seems to have trouble making trains that are comfortable for humans.
  10. Looks good. I enjoyed Giant Drop at Dreamworld, so I'm looking forward to checking out Magic Mountain's version.
  11. ^^I'd love to see a state-of-the-art Madhouse ride at BGW. That's something that Vekoma does quite well. I always thought Corkscrew Hill was OK, too.
  12. Tornado is a great ride, and Hurricane is truly bizarre. Too bad the ghost train isn't there, anymore--a strange mix of cute and gory.
  13. Agreed--Questor was the best ride in that building (cheesy puppet dinosaurs and all).
  14. Intamin coasters are perverts!
  15. Beaches, clear water, mozzarella, free wine, and a terrain Wacky Worm . . . works for me.
  16. I bet that Slide of Death yielded some interesting shots.
  17. ^I guess many folks don't understand that fountain drinks require water? I think Holiday World is making the best of a bad situation here--good work.
  18. As I recall, it lasted all of one season. The actors who protrayed "King Arthur" and "Merlin" were really bad--the latter looked like a teenager in costume as an old wino. The 3D graphics were blurry as hell and headache inducing. Corkscrew Hill was a big step up.
  19. Nice job, Laura. I never been to Elitch Gardens; if I happened to find myself in Denver one day, I'd probably check it out, but I've no burning desire to visit the park.
  20. Hanno, I'm looking to seeing some awesome pictures from you of this amazingly messed-up park.
  21. Sorry to hear this, but it sounds like Dreamworld made the right decision.
  22. There's no reason to be "defiant" when you definitely go back to DCA. Ahaha! I didn't catch that. This is why I shouldn't trust my spell check 100%! Oh man, I'm embarrassed now. I usually don't make mistakes like that. Trust me--everybody makes a goof like that from time to time.
  23. There's no reason to be "defiant" when you definitely go back to DCA.
  24. Asterix does have one of the more impressive looking B&M inverts now. I'm quite impressed with the theming they put into the station.
