  1. F: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
  2. The Coasting for Kids brunch at Kings Dominion was a pleasant surprise. Instead of the usual fried chicken-hot dogs-burger meal at the picnic shelters, the park gave us a nice spread of scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken strips, asparagus, cake, and other goodies in a banquet room over the Starbucks.
  3. They should use this in their commercials.
  4. San Andreas would be quite suspenseful to anyone who has never seen a disaster movie before.
  5. It's good to get an authentic Norwegian perspective on Frozen Fun.
  6. Oblivion--Alton Towers
  7. Maverick--Cedar Point
  8. ^With brand new flume and logs.
  9. Weekdays tend to be quiet--you shouldn't have any problem with crowds (and there's always Quick Queue).
  10. ^I'm afraid I'm not available this week, but you two have a great time in Williamsburg! Be sure to enjoy a nice JC's Special at Pierce's Pitt.
  11. ^Same. I'd like to check out the re-themed Bobkarts, too.
  12. Many of the park's ride queues provide shade (at least when it comes to the coasters). Crowds should be light on weekdays. It will be quite humid, so keep yourself hydrated.
  13. Intimidator 305--Kings Dominion
  14. I would definitely stay in one of those bungalows if I had the money.
  15. Thank you for your opinion. It has been duly noted and logged.
  16. Z: Zabriskie Point
  17. Ron Moody was an excellent actor. He was also very funny in Mel Brooks's The Twelve Chairs. Here he is with Frank Langella.
  18. Welcome to the actual "Hooters."
  19. ^How hot was their Buffalo Owl Wing sauce?
  20. Diavlo--Central Park (Japan)
  21. Yeah, it's funny, I came away liking it this time around more than I had in the past (I hadn't ridden in since 2008), but I really think timing had a lot to do with it. In 2004, we rode it after having ridden Expedition GeForce, Goliath, all the Superman coasters when they were fairly new, Millennium Force and then Thunder Dolphin. Had we ridden them on the opposite order, I probably would have felt different from it. And then in the last ten years, I feel there have been a lot of "meh" B&M hypers out there that did even less for me than Thunder Dolphin, so putting it all into perspective now, it was more enjoyable than our first experience with it. But that trick track part is still incredibly dumb! Yeah, the trick-track bit is pretty bizarre. I guess it's supposed to simulate a dolphin swimming, with the way the train "swishes" back and forth.
  22. ^Oh, you wacky Canadians!
  23. Yeah, the bar isn't set too high there.
