Spiderman + Mummy = Incredible experience. Universal is going to introduce 2 new E-Ticket ride systems (this and FJ) and the last E-Ticket system Disney introduced was....Test Track in '99? But none the less, major props to Universal Creative for designing this, and to management for passing it through.

Guys, also remember that just because track construction has slowed, construction is still progressing. They've expanded the indoor section with more steel erected. They've also been working on the area's entrance with the bridge, and track underpass foundation. This isn't like most other projects where they are just erecting a coaster, they're reconstructing an entire area.

Wha...? I believe he means that a lot of USA members are think that a coaster needs a bright track color, and a grey/black/tan support scheme. This obviously breaks that trend and a lot of members haven't come to grips with that yet. -

The center bar on the track will serve as an upstop. -

Almost positive the tent frames are the theming/queue for the new Dumbo rides. Pretty sure I remember Adam taking photos of them and referring to them as such. They aren't. Those tents will serve shopping/meet n greets. The Dumbo tents are further to the right next to Goofini/Barnstormer. -

Is it confirmed as to which trains this ride will use? I am going to take a guess and say the 2nd Gen due to the storage track being so long. -

I don't keep tabs on the "style" of coasters (for example, "old-school vs "new-school" B&M). What I see in Intimidator 305 is a bunch of wide turns, one after the other, with two hills in a row built in between. I don't see any of that on Skyrush. Okay. So Sky Rush isn't like Intimidator 305. Who woulda thunk it? Two obviously different coasters....are different. Can we move on now.... -

Disney does this nightly and its actually incredibly stupid in my opinion. Its often difficult to make out the picture and even then, I don't care at all of seeing pictures of other people. -
Grizzly is still in my opinion, by far the worst wooden coaster I have ever ridden. To hoot-and-holler and label something as "rough", especially a wooden coaster, does nothing but show that someone is looking for something to complain about. I've never ridden a wooden coaster that I wouldn't call rough. To me, the rattling and shaking is part of what makes a wooden coaster. Its not a flaw for me, but rather an expectation. Now I'm no fool. Yes there are woodies that are more rough than others. Ghost Rider, Roar and Giant Dipper mentioned earlier may all be more rough than Grizzly but the fact of the matter is, those rides have great layouts. Roar features plenty of twists and turns. Giant Dipper has the hills, and Ghostrider is by far, for myself, the greatest wooden coaster on the planet. Grizzly's layout sucks. It sucks completely. Its awful. The ride's trains are uncomfortable, there is no high speed turns or interesting maneuvers. Its just a miserably bad coaster. Its rough AND it does absolutely nothing. So sure, rant about how CGA has the "smoother" wooden coaster, but atleast Knotts, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, have wooden coasters that actually DO something. -A CGA fanboy

My slightly-snarky last comment at the end was concerning Disney's desperate attempt to grab some/any potential franchise that could compete with Potter. Apologies if I came across as if I thought you were some culturally-ignorant bafoon. In reality, I was just trying to state that Avatar isn't on par (as of yet) with Potter, Star Wars, or Indiana Jones.
-
I just REALLY hope the franchise will still be as strong as it is now in three years without any planned content to be released... Only time will tell. --Robb Star Wars and Indiana Jones have proven to uphold as time goes on. Harry Potter is just as big a franchise, if not bigger then both of those. It's not like it's a single movie franchise whose success was largely based on the 3D aspect....

I highly doubt that anything new is coming to CGA for 2012 as WOF is high on the list of parks rumored to be getting the final windseeker for 2012. The fact that the park is turning a profit without investing in n ew rides tells me that CF see's no reason to invest in the park for next year. Yeah. Canada's Wonderland isn't turning in a profit which is why they got a $28 million new ride. I see your logic....

Just got back from the park. Here is a pic of former Invertigo location from my phone I'll have more up on my blog later: I don't think it's a Windseeker personally. All the tiny flags are from a sprinkler company so it looks like the whole thing will be grass , not a station platform. But I could be wrong, in fact, I hope I'm wrong. I've uploaded a new album on Flickr called LINK REMOVED. I'll be adding pics as construction goes on in at the site. Here are some pictures. Anyone is free to use them, please just give credit to Park Thoughts: ADMIN EDIT: While we appreciate you sharing these photos with us, your post is currently in violation of our Terms of Service. The video is 100% raw. Only editing applied was the intro. However, like others have mentioned, the coaster may have cycled later on in the day, and that is when the other guy heard it. Unfortunately, I don't remember what time this video was taken. However, if I could guess, I would say around 5:00-5:30. But again, thats a complete guess.
