  1. I am wondering if that would work, it actually might. The adventure dome is raised as there is parking underneath it right? And the station of Speed: The Ride came out of the second floor of that NASCAR complex... Probably possible, I just hope it gets built again somewhere on the strip. Also, they should turn the trains backwards!
  2. Didn't notice the lower leg restraints. Ick!
  3. I want to do this! Looks awesome. Good job guys!
  4. That is really cool! As a fan of the clam shell restraints I hope we see more coasters get the b&m treatment.
  5. I preferred the golden color over the white, but overall it looks really really good!
  6. ^ Oh but it is. At least according to SDC, RCDB, RMC, Robb, pretty much anyone who knows the industry. You are entitled to your opinion however, but you probably are not going to change any minds on the matter.
  7. Great Report! Can't wait to get on this thing on the tour Robb! I'll admit, the POV does not look like it does the ride justice. Your off-ride footage does a better job showing how this thing hauls ass until the very end! Also, I may have watched a different reverse POV on a not-nearly-as-good-as-TPR YouTube channel and I got a kick out of you waving and making faces as their train dispatched. How many days until the Midwest tour? TOO MANY!
  8. ^^Many inversions are not 180*. Anything beyond 135* is considered an inversion. Many immelmans, dive loops, and cobra rolls are not 180 at the top. Also inclined loops? Do you not consider those inversions?
  9. ^Hold your horses! They still have to build the station.... oh wait. And the Queue Line!... Oh yeah that's right. Yet another reason to love RMC overhauls. A lot of the details are already in place.
  10. ^^ To their credit, for once they didn't choose to handle this the worst way possible. If they can successfully get everyone and their luggage back to Florida in a timely manner that would be very impressive considering their past track record. Doesn't make up for the fact that their ships keep failing left and right, but after their last disaster it appears that they are at least trying with this one.
  11. Funny, I was just thinking... "Wow, nothing serious happened on Karnival in a week or two." Good thing they are back to the quality of service we have come to know and love. Stay Klassy my friends.
  12. "Roller Coaster" at NYNY in Las Vegas is painful all around, but this element gave me a massive headache. This looks like it should be awesome, but it's not.
  13. ^^ I'm assuming it has to do with clearance. You'll notice that the the "old style" ties have a dip in the middle to accommodate the hardware underneath the train and the "new style" triangular ties are flat. When the train is making a steep drop they have to have that notch so the hardware doesn't collide with the track I believe. *Completely non-professional opinion so I could be wrong.
  14. ^ Wow, I had no clue they were even in a lawsuit about that. I cruised on Allure in May and one of the highlights of my trip was how I progressed from barely being able to boogie board to doing spins and somersaults! I don't even understand the logic of the lawyers... If I recall correctly I had to sign a waiver before riding the Flow-Riders. And from a common sense point of view, you don't have to do those tricks! The employees are encouraging but in no way pressure you into doing something you are not ready for! I feel so bad for RCCL, or any company for that matter that has to but up with this Bull.
  15. ^ A meme is an internet trend of sorts. You'll notice that TPR does meme contests now. Examples include Grumpy Cat, Bad Luck Brian, Good Guy Greg, ect. Cray Cray, adj - Another word for Crazy. "That shit cray, ain't it Jay? What she order? Fish fillet."
  16. Short and sweet! Looks like an awesome ride! I don't think you could ask for anything more without sounding selfish.
  17. ^To clarify, the tables are connected to the stage and the dancers dance on the tables. If you sit there you have to promise not to put your hands on the table so your fingers do not get stepped on.
  18. ^Even if RMC could get their hands on it for a "normal" re-profile. As in, no Iron Horse or Topper track. RMC has done a phenomenal job making Predator at Darien Lake tolerable again.
  19. ^^ I'd recommend it. My friend William worked on that show last season and he scored us seats at one of the tables in the front. Best seats in the house, feels like you are about to get kicked in the face!.
  20. I have a feeling that making employees do the "Visual Scan" is motion actually counter productive towards safety. I just think that it would be too easy to just "go through the motions" and not even look.
  21. I hope that Robb's review lives up to the expectations I think we all have.
  22. ^I respectfully disagree. I think the pieces over the Superman plaza is pretty cool and looks OK. The only gripe I have with this ride is the short layout. Other than that it looks like a pretty good coaster, despite what park it is in.
  23. Same here as I will be at BGT on the 27th. Fingers crossed!
