Or the GCI woodie that we never got. What a hoot fence the ride. That will surely be the new attraction nothing but fences all around the park. Let's see how many can climb all over every fence & make it a contest. Or how about hey CGA have a trash can jumping contest see who can jump over the most trash cans. Have fun at those new contests for 2012.

Ummm Steel Venom is a completely different ride like stated before. I guess people here have forgotten that SFDK has V2 AND Boomerang. Knotts has Montezooma's Revenge AND Boomerang. CGA used to have Greased Lightnin AND Invertigo. So that's not uncommon to have 2 different types of boomerangs. I can see Invertigo at Valleyfair. So even if Valleyfair gets Invertigo, Valleyfair can still get a fancy invert. CGA has had invertigo AND Top Gun. Those are both inverts. I still can bet 1 Million dollars it will end up at Valleyfair. 2 Invertigo's racing that's a stupid idea they would never have 2 at one park.

Ok based on my research on Screamscape & rcdb this is what I found out: -Valleyfair YES-plans to take out Mild Thing for a new coaster in 2012-hmm wild guess Invertigo? -Michigan's Adventure YES but no mention of new coaster plans -Dorney Park YES no mention of new coaster plans but expansion plans -Kings Dominion YES but no mention of new coaster My bet's on Valleyfair. I can so see them getting Invertigo since there is a mention already for a new coaster. That was easy to figure out!

Yeah I won't miss Invertigo. Anyways there's the Boomerang over at SFDK. However I do miss Greased Lightnin & Stealth ALOT. I can see CF scrapping all the rides except Top Gun & Drop Zone. Those are the only ones worth being saved. Send them to SFDK. Top Gun can easily replace Kong & SFDK doesn't have a drop ride yet. But turning CGA into a water park only? Hmm. There's Raging Waters in San Jose which is pretty close to CGA. I don't think they'd do that. CF should announce the major new attraction now. Otherwise we may never hear about it. They could just change their minds & tear down the whole rest of the park while they are starting with Invertigo.
-
My mouth just hung wide open when I saw over at Screamscape Invertigo is being removed. OMG YET ANOTHER lost coaster! WTF??? Why does it have to be Invertigo??? They should be taking down the Grizzly instead. CGA should get an award for the most removed coasters. Now lets see thats: -Greased Lightnin -Stealth -Invertigo So frigen depressing. CGA BETTER & I MEAN BETTER give us not one but 2 major coasters then. I know something major is finally coming 2012/2013 but how about 2 major coasters? One won't do it. At least I went on Invertigo last season 5 times. CGA known for removing rides right & left. It better be something good & NOTHING THAT SPINS. Hoy veh. Now down to 3 coasters-Top Gun, Demon, Grizzly. I don't even count Vortex. Guess I'll go back to SFDK on my birthday this year.

The most rare coaster credits

Good ol Greased Lightnin/Tital Wave that was at CGA. Sniff! God I miss it so bad. & I might add Stealth too. Sniff sniff. -
There are many stupid idiots out there who don't follow the rules. I'm glad Disney did that for safety reasons. There are too many stupid idiots who think they can stand up or get out of the log during the ride. For instance when I was at Disneyland this stupid kid completely got out of the log & went onto a rock ledge near the end of the ride. I hope Disneyland's Splash gets lapbars too. Disney is strapping in those idiots.

I sure hope CF is reading all our complaints. They need to hear it!!! No new coaster next year don't you just love it. If we were getting a huge coaster we would have already heard about it this month. I am so frying mad. This is so unfair. I need to move next to SFMM or Disneyland ASAP. I can't stand living up here any longer by stinky ol CGA!!! The absolute worst home park ever. I get disgusted just even thinking about CGA & their lousy coasters.

^^Um I have been to WDW but very little: Nov 1986-Magic Kingdom Nov 1988-Magic Kingdom April 1993-Epcot April 1997-MGM Studios April 2000-MGM Studios April 2002-Magic Kingdom-my 1 & only time on WDW Splash Mountain!!! PATHETIC I KNOW!!! That was Easter Sunday around 9pm during the fireworks. I was there from 3pm-11pm. Not much time. Disneyland: May 1987 Oct 1993 Mar 2001 June 2001 July 2006 July 2008 Feb 2010 How pathetic. I've spent single days at WDW-never once a whole week. Never done the water parks & Animal Kingdom. I will never get to experience WDW for a whole week & I won't ever have the money to do that. My parents are non Disney/theme park people . I am lucky to go to Disneyland for 2 days maybe every other year if I'm lucky. They don't go they drop me off & pick me up so I'm there alone. I wish I could go to Disney every year.

I believe Disneyland is FAR MORE SUPERIOR 100%!!! Disneyland has all the better versions of the rides plus it has the Matterhorn & the Finding Nemo Subs & Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, & Alice In Wonderland & Pinocchio's Daring Journey, & Indiana Jones Adventure, & Roger Rabitt's Cartoon Spin. Even the fireworks show Remember Dreams Come True is far more superior. I think California Screamin is better than Rock N Roller. But a one minor difference is our Tower is not as good as Florida's. Too bad it couldn't have been an exact copy. & By the way our Cars Land Radiator Springs Racers will be far more superior than Test Track. I'd choose Disneyland over Disney World any time.

I wouldn't count on any big ride/coaster for the 25th Annieversery. Last mega coaster was Stealth & it's been long gone. I can't believe CF doesn't care about the coasters or getting new ones. Come on CF DO SOMETHING we've all been waiting years. Don't keep us waiting until the cows come home! Turn it into a Cedar Point!!! That's what CGA REALLY NEEDS!!! Give us a Raptor, Millenimum Force, Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister!!! & How about some giant slides for Boomerang Bay? Boomerang Bay is barely worth doing it's so small. I guess a petition should be started by us at TPR then presented to CF by TPR! Something has to be done otherwise we will keep seeing nothing & I am so sick & tired about how CGA keeps getting ignored right & left.

When I just turned 11 I went to CGA with my mom, dad, & a friend's family from school summer 1993. I was afarid to go on the Demon because it went upside down. My friend got me to go on it so I sat with her dad. I was scared. But I loved it after so I went again. Then that horrible Vortex. We got to go again with out getting off. I can't believe we were all so excited. Top Gun I didn't go on since I guess I wasn't tall enough. My dad went on it though & lost his hat or sunglasses. Today I will go on any except the spinny ones. I love coasters more than ever. Especially the ones at Disney & SFMM.

OHHHHH CAN'T WAIT!!! I knew it was going backwards for a long time well before everybody kept guessing what they were doing to Superman. I knew because of Screamscape. But dang Superman is SO LOUD! Too bad they couldn't have toned down it's noise. I sure need to go again. Not sure when I'll get to. Haven't been since July 08. I miss all of SFMM coasters. Especially X2 & Tatsu which I've only been on 1 time each. Haven't even been on Terminator.

What are you thankful for...
greatamerica1990sfan replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
DISNEYLAND RESORT IN ANAHEIM & SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN & my 1 time on X2 & Tatsu, & the many times I rode Tidal Wave/Greased Lightnin at CGA(PGA then), & got to go on the first flying coaster Stealth, & that I've been to the Universal Orlando Resort & stayed at the Portofino a couple years in a row. -
^^You were afraid to go on those Manteca waterslides??? I go on them all the time. I have been since they opened. But one of them gives you a wedgie. I don't mind they are fun. I went 3 times this season 7/11, 7/30, & 8/13. My highlights are Down Hill Thunder(love that little airtime you get going over the bump at the end), riding the family raft waterslide by myself(going on one of the curves of that slide made my raft almost flip over that was scary!), the Manteca slides, & Invertigo 3 times in a row on 8/13. I also learned that there are cheaper lockers for Boomerang Bay. Don't get them across from Boomerang bay they cost $15(you get $5 back) WHAT A RIP!!! Get them inside Boomerang Bay they are $10. I'm sure you still get $5 back. But I was really pissed off that ALL slides in Jackaroo Landing were closed except that one green one & that little orange short one all times I went. They need better operation with Jackaroo Landing. Otherwise Boomerang Bay is barely worth it cause it's like half of Boomerang Bay is closed. I suppose I'll go next year again on my birthday. Even though it's not the greatest park it's still a place to go & something to do on my birthday. Oh yeah I also liked the National Anthum song at opening that is nice. Oh & I think you do get a little airtime too on Logger's Run going over the bump on the hill. I guess CGA is ok-it's better than nothing. OH & I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER go on Vortex AGAIN! It is just as bad as Kong at SFDK!
-
I have never been on it because of the so few hours I always have there. My focus is the giant coasters. SFMM shouldn't have to worry about kiddie rides. There are two great parks for the whole family not too far away Disneyland & Knotts. SFMM should just focus on their thrills & keep the giant coasters on coming. What happened to the 2012 coaster? Is that not coming now because of Green Lantern next year?
-
Stop complaining about loosing Sierra Falls! Let's see SFMM has 3 top notch water rides: Log Jammer, Jet Stream, Roaring Rapids, Tidal Wave WOW that's alot PLUS there's Hurricane Harbor right next door with tons of great slides. There's nothing to boo hoo about. I think it's a great location for the coaster & they made a wise choice. I think though Sierra Falls is a twin waterslide to the Fieval's waterslide at Universal Studios Orlando. They look pretty similar.
-
It's not just the stadium you have also those noise complainers in the office buildings on the other side so CGA is trapped in the middle. :cry Last giant coaster CGA er PGA saw was Stealth 2000 how frigen sad & pathetic!!! & It's not even there anymore!!! I hardly got to go on it since the line was always long. I miss Stealth. It was a great addition. It sucks it lasted for 4 years. 2003 was it's last season.
-
Well, well, well! I knew for MONTHS Superman will be going backwards. Hints from Screamscape & Robb it was no question! That's no surprise for me. Watching that video during the Superman part there is a OMFG moment! So can't wait to ride the new Superman. But that Green Lantern BOO can't go on it because it spins.
