I'll be there on CGA's last operating day for sure 100% to get my last rides on everything. I'll also keep going every season until the final season. It's geting sad. I'm actually feeling sorry for CGA. Poor CGA. I wish Marriott could buy it back. Or even Six Flags. Then the 2 Great America parks could be twins again.

Yeah I saw that but plan it for a day you & Elissa will be present. I'll go if you two will be there. I've never met you guys & would like to at my home park CGA.

No matter which summer day you choose it's going to be busy. My advise is use fastpass-but make sure to get those early they do run out. If your staying on site you have advantage of extra magic hours where in the morning you get a 1 hour early entry & evening like up to 3 hours for on site guests only depending on what day & what park it's being offered at. Before you go check the official Disney World website calender for extra magic hours so you can plan your trip around the days that have the most extra magic hours. I would recommend staying on site.

Yeah I would choose last two weeks of September during the week when all the kiddies are back in school.

Just some new shows I believe for this year. For 2012 we'll see a hand me down ride-if we're lucky but I dought it. Firewall was a hand me down. Where did it come from again?

Gulp I don't want to see the park gone and nothing left but concrete. I have a soft spot for the Demon(was my first upside down coaster). I am sorry guys I was rooting for a Maverick clone. I fully understand now it's nowhere near going to happen & what state the park is in now. Hey maybe CGA will get Zonga-that's a compact portable. I think I heard that the 49ers might not make the move after all-they might not have the funding. I am praying CGA won't turn out like Astroworld or Geguana Lake. Maybe we can be the committe to save the park. CF at least cares about the Grizzly-it gets nice work on it. I am curious to try it out this year to see if it really does fly like they said on their Facebook page. I am starting to show some love for what's left of CGA & just enjoy it while I can. Especially Vortex deserves some love. I know it's nowhere like Riddler's Revenge but hey at least it's a standup & can be bearable I guess. Is there a standup worse than Vortex? I dought there is. OMG! I just realized I have been going to the park since 1991(except 2007). Wow that's a long time I've been going. But many memories though. My favorite is probabably going on the Edge for the first time during it's final season in 1995. My uncle got my cousin & I to go on it even though we both were like I don't know about this. That started my love for freefall rides. Then riding the Lobster in 1991 & going on the Revolution for the first time in 2002. & Going on that Tidal Wave for the first time in 1997. The ride announcer was like hands up I was like no & gripping on for dear life! & How I couldn't wait to ride Stealth.

Anybody have an on ride picture from the Demon at CGA? I do-one from 1993. It was I believe my 2nd ride on the Demon. 1st time I was so scared about going upside down but after the first time I went on it I loved it & went again. So yeah the Demon is a classic. I hope it never gets taken out. That same year I went on the Vortex for the first time. The ride operator was like you want to go again & I was like yeah! & I didn't have to get off! Too bad though I was scared of the Tidal Wave-thought I'd fall out. Didn't start going on the Tidal Wave since 1997. God I miss it. Hey CGA rescue our Tidal Wave from Kentucky Kingdom! That could be new for 2012!

OMG!!!! I HAVE TO I MUST GET TO SFMM THIS YEAR!!!!! I owe Superman several rides. Last time I went on it was 4 times in a row in July 06. & 1 other time in July 1999. So how frigen pathetic. Only been on Superman a total of 5 times! Had no time to go on it in July 08. Next time I go on Superman I'll try for 5 times in a row! Backwards + 104mph= 2 very high thumbs up! CAN'T WAIT!

I have been on 2 Carnival cruises the Ecstacy-Key West/Couzmel Dec 1996 & the Holiday Aug 1998-Catilina/Ensanada. Plus I have been on a real fancy ship the Crystal Harmony out of San Francisco in June 2000 to Alaska. The Crystal Harmony was way too fancy for me. The Ecstacy I didn't have a good time. The Holiday was better-food was great, I won $150 at Bingo, & they showed Titanic when we were waiting to get off the ship(that was before Titanic was released on VHS). They were like don't worry we will be docked when we show Titanic. I don't know if I'll ever go on a cruise again-will probabably never have the money but if I do Robb I'll listen to you & go with Royal Carribbean. Your always right on stuff. I don't drink alchol & the inside of the Allure looks real nice not real flashy colors like Carnival. I don't like Carnival's odd interior designs.

You guys should try the Carnival Magic-coming out in May of this year. It will have the longest Twister slide yet & another Drain Pipe slide. Allure Of The Seas really needs a coaster to top it all off! They should build a new deck with a giant kick ass coaster spanning the whole entire deck! & A full round of mini golf-18 holes! & A giant ass waterslide. Then it will be complete!

Oh yuck! Deffinately not my type of ride. I'd never be able to go on that!!!

Ok I feel better now about CGA. I am safe to say after reading your post about this park that CGA is not the worst park ever. I'll start showing more love & respect for CGA. What kind of ride is/was Hammerhead? I can't tell by the pictures. Was it a falling star type? Elissa I don't know how you can handle the spinny coasters when you don't do other spinny stuff. I can't even go on Survivor at CGA without feeling sick after. At DCA I went on the Mickey Ferris Wheel-one of the rocking buckets & I almost felt sick during the ride. I'd like to try Tony Hawk at SFDK but I don't want to take the chance-I'm sure I'd puke the second it starts spinning. Triple Play at CGA ended the spinny rides for me. That was in 04. But sure I can go on Astro Orbitor, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party those don't do anything for me.

Compact coaster? No frigen way. That's the last thing CGA needs. & Certinately not a stinky boring ol Windseeker on top of that. I hate the word compact. It means a crappy revised version of a ride. Come on CF give us a full Maverick clone copy!

I hope we don't get a Splash Battle either. PLEASE NO!!! There are enough water rides plus Boomerang Bay. A Boomerang Bay expansion in the future would be so much better. Boomerang Bay really needs expansion. How soon will they make the announcement letting us know what it is? I want to find out now!!! I have an idea if it's a windseeker or splash battle we can all go down to the park to riot!!!

Sniff. Sniff. I'm getting a little sad about loosing Invertigo now. I've been riding it since it's opening year 1998. I remember when it first opened it had on ride pictures for awhile but the on ride pictures have been long gone for years. I wanted the picture but when I saw my pic the over shoulder restraints were hiding my face. At least I got my last 5 rides on it last year. The last time I went to CGA last year I went on it 3 times in a row-had to walk around to get the next train but man 3 times in a row on Invertigo way too much. Felt a little akward after. How many times in a row have you all gone on Invertigo? The Demon had on ride pics too. The camera was right after the corkscrew. I have an old faded one from 1993. I just sure hope a nice good steel coaster replaces Invertigo. Like Maverick or Flight Of Fear. CGA could use either one of those. But please CF don't waste the space & give us a crappy Poney Express ride!

There is already a Windseeker new for SFDK this year & SFDK is not too far away. & Why would they build one when they can't go any higher than Drop Zone? CF knows Drop Zone is more thrilling anyway. Plus SFDK already has a spinning coaster & CGA doesn't need any more flat rides especially since they gave us Firewall in 2008. So the only thing left that I can think of is a Maverick clone-which fits perfectly. Plus quote"this will open up an entirely new opportunity for Great America." Or a Flight Of Fear can be possible.

(No, I’m not counting Suspended or Flying coasters) Stay tuned!" & No I don't believe CGA is going to disappear like most of you think. CF IS slowely, turning CGA around. They gave CGA Firewall & new shows & haunt mazes. CF extended CGA's hours. I know CGA is located in a tough spot between the offices, airport, & soon the stadium but CF will make things work. Plus they care about Invertigo's loss so they will give CGA something new & GOOD & that's next year we will see something new. They aren't making us wait any longer. But I sure hope it's not a Windseeker! If you think about it there is room for a couple new decent coasters over the next few years. If they clear trees, the pay extra race track, & revise the picnic area. Maybe they will end up taking out Grizzly & Vortex too & replacing it with 3 kick ass coasters-2 in Grizzly's spot & 1 in Vortex's spot. Leave Demon & Top Gun those are fine. & They can also expand Boomerang Bay by putting in more slides. I think it will be worth waiting a few more years since CF has been showing interest. I trust CF.

Um hello people they would not remove Invertigo knowing that it is are 3rd lost coaster & not give us a new coaster! I mean CF already gave us a flat-Firewall, gave us some new shows & Planet Snoopy. CGA has enough flats so what else could it be??? DUH a new coaster FINALLY after how many years of waiting??? Stealth was 2000-2003, & then Physco Mouse 2001(last time CGA saw a new coaster. INSANE!). & It won't I can gurantee be a spinning coaster either because of all the flats & Survivor-2006 is spinny. So either a Maverick clone or would that custom woodie fit in Invertigo's spot? I mean it can't be an I-305, Top Thrill Dragster or Wicked Twister(since Wicked Twister is a boomerang type ride I don't think they would give us another boomerang). So the only choice that I see is either Maverick or the custom woodie. Not too hard to figure out.

OMG! A Maverick clone fits perfectly! Come on! Maverick, Maverick, Maverick!!! CF PLEASE READ!!! We all want an EXACT Mavrick clone!!! It's perfect for the spot!!! Please pretty please give us a Mavrick!!! & Um CGA has way too many flats as it is no more is needed. Time to focus on the coasters especially since now Invertigo is disappearing. Yet a perfectly good coaster gone on top of 2 others that are gone too. & Please don't give us some crappy revision of Maverick give us the same Maverick version that is at CP. & Please hurry up & make the announcement already. All of us are on pins & needles. We want to find out what the new coaster is NOW.

^Looks great. But it's all those stupid bitchy complaining neighbors fault. Hey neighbors who was here long before you? If you neighbors don't like it you can just move on out of there. Why don't they put up frigen sound walls surrounding their offices. That will solve their stinky problem. & If CF were smart enough they still could have had it built but just running on weekends to accomadate the complaints.

I just found out the answer to my own question. It can never be a Top Thrill Dragster-it's height is 405 ft & I-305 is 320 ft. That is way out of CGA's height range. The highest CGA could go is 224 ft which is Drop Zone's height. This just sucks so bad. AH BUT they can put in a Wicked Twister which has a height of 215. It can also be an Xcelator clone though which is only 205 ft.

Please,please,please no Tony Hawk type coaster or the very stupid ass Poney Express(waste of space) type ride. It has to be something MEGA! Won't an I-305 fit in & around there? I think it could if they use the old Tidal Wave area. Or a Maverick clone or even a Top Thrill Dragster clone! If CGA is FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY getting something BIG next year when will we finally find out what it is??? I really want to know!

Please I am begging don't be yet another spinny flat ride. CGA has way too many flats as it is & CGA doesn't need anymore flats! I am picturing in my mind how big Invertigo's space is. It's kind of small actually. So I guess we can't expect to see something too big. Is there even enough room for a coaster to go where Invertigo was? & Would a Maverick clone fit in that space? Or a V2?

They should have added temporarly & then they should have wrote Greased Lightning parts were sent to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom to keep another shuttle loop coaster of it's same kind there running.
