I am sooo excited & I have the absolute best souviner from CGA & a piece of CGA history-an Invertigo road wheel. I didn't go to the Bay Area Bash at CGA but Bolliger&Mabillard posted on this site he had a 2nd one his girlfriend didn't want. He was so nice & gave me his 2nd one. A huge giant thank you to Bolliger&Mabillard. Am I lucky or what. I wonder why they didn't need those wheels for Invertigo to run at Dorney Park? Does anybody else have coaster parts from CGA? (besides an Invertigo wheel).

Is Labor Day weekend the worst weekend to go? I could go on Sat, Sun, or Mon. Should I just forget it? I was thinking about going Sun the 4th but would Sat or Mon be better?

I am looking to be friends with someone on this site because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE roller coasters & theme parks & water parks & lots of people on this site share that same common interest. I want to someday travel the USA going to all the theme parks I want to visit. My life is roller coasters & I could talk about roller coasters/theme parks non stop. Here's a quick intro: My 2 favorite parks are the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim & Six Flags Magic Mountain-love every ride at Disney & love every coaster at SFMM. I also like Universal Orlando-(been on every ride there) & would oneday like to go to Cedar Point.

When I was there on 8/4/11 Roar FINALLY opened at 6:15 just when I was done with the Dolphin swim so I got to ride it just once. I saw it testing when I was getting the Dolphin photo. That is so weird it opened that late.

Yeah I agree Roar is rough & very LOUD this year. The Grizzly is better than Roar! But a couple years ago I had a good ride on Roar. However Kong I had a very nice ride! Serious! No ear or head banging. I was shocked! It was the yellow train 6th seat. Skyscreamer was closed when I was there 8/4/11. I would recommend the Dolphin swim to anyone. It's a little pricy but well worth it to do it at least once. There are 4 people to a group for the swim part. You get to rub the dolphin's back, belly & bellybutton, hug & kiss right on the lips, & do a very quick ride. You get a free souviner picture. I hope to do it again next year. & Oh if you want to get drenched by Shouka sit on the right-not far right but next section in 2nd row from the front in the splash zone. I got drenched twice & a little salt water in my mouth but I wanted to get drenched. I think that's the best seat.

I'm thinking about going one last time Sun Spet 4th which is the day before Labor Day. Is that a bad day to go?

No ride! I'll go on any even the Xtreme Skyflyer at CGA(if it didn't cost $20!) But I'm just afarid of having a white out on a very fast coaster like if I go on Millenimum Force.

Those annoying complaining crybaby neighbors don't have a say anymore on what goes in. CF & the city kicked them out. Ha ha. Since CF got a 2 year extension for the woodie we know its coming now! Too bad it won't be next year though. Looks like we'll have to wait until 2013 since there are no markers & no signs of piles of wood anywhere. As for next year hopefully it will be a big Boomerang Bay expansion with a nice tower of slides! & Get rid of the Spongebob movie & put 2 brand new movies in the Action Theater. Will we finally know the 2012 plans on the 17th since it's CF's big announcement day for all parks?

Anyways, has anyone tried to or won a Nintendo 3Ds from the game with the giant claw that comes down to grab an empty box which you have to exchange? I really want a Nintendo 3Ds & I'm pretty sure I can win one. I wonder how many times it takes though. If you win where do you take the empty box & do you exchange it for a sealed one or do they put it in the open box?

I'm so jealous of all those who got an Invertigo wheel! I want one too! In the Demon pic I'm the one in the back left side-behind my dad. Those other 2 girls were friends from school. My first looping coaster was the Demon & in the pic was my 2nd time on it. The Demon started my love of coasters! Here's my collection: Demon photo from 1993!

At the TPR day did they say if CGA is getting something good next year?

Thanks for answering. I know the hours just was wondering since all the slides in Jackaroo Landing were finally open the last time I went 7/27 but I wasn't prepared-no bathing suit & no money for a locker but all 3 raft slides were closed. I'm glad everything is open now. I'm going Friday & will be prepared this time!!! How is the park on a Friday? I hate going on Friday's but this week I have no choice.

No the prarrie dog crawl through is no longer there. I don't know what is in it's place now. & I believe they no longer do the water ski show. They should just fill in the lake to add a nice Medusa sized coaster since the lake isn't being used. That playground was so much fun. I can picture some of it. Part of it had a large whale model with a slide where you landed in a pit of plastic balls to crawl through to the other side. Anyone have old pictures of the playground? There are no pictures of it online! I'm crossing my fingers Boomerang will be open tomorrow!!!

OMG I have been going since it was Marine World Africa USA when it had the playground & prarrie dog crawl through! I miss that stuff! Hey can someone please answer I am going tomorrow-Thursday. Is Boomerang finally open??? I want to get my Boomerang credit for the year especially since Invertigo is gone. Oh & see if I can do 3 rides in a row like I did on Invertigo last year!

It's confirmed I am going tomorrow-Thursday. Got the Dolphin Swim booked. I would assume the waits are like CGA's during the week-hardly a wait? Last time I was there on a Sunday Medusa was like a half hour wait. I am hoping it would be much less than that. What about V2, Kong & Roar,Boomerang? & How are Monsoon Falls & White Water Safari on a Thursday? I don't care for the spinning coaster. I don't know about going on the new Sky Screamer. Looks pretty booring just going around in circles in the air. Maybe if it's a walk on I'll go on it. & I sure hope Boomerang will be open!!!

Can anyone tell me if all the Jackaroo Landing slides-4 big ones have been open for awhile? I went on Wed & was so surprised to see them finally open! & Why were the 3 big raft slides closed? That was shocking. They have always been open.

I totatally agree. We could still get that wooden coaster for next year but CF can put it somewhere else so it's not in front of the complaining neighbors especially since they renewed a permit for it that means theres hope. & Plus if we get a brand new woodie it means CGA won't be going anywhere because they wouldn't want to tear down a wood coaster right after they build it. But I don't think they would put it in Invertigo's spot because the Grizzly is across from there. I sense it coming! But wouldn't they have to start building it like now? & There's no piles of wood anywhere.

That Honolulu Half Pipe looks so booring. Down Hill Thunder at CGA is way better. It's been years since I've been to Water World Concord. 1 & only time I went was in 1996!

I went today and had a nice day. Hardly a wait on all rides. Finally got on Physco Mouse just after opening-no line so I went 2 times. It's a nice little coaster. The Grizzly OMG seemed very smooth-smoothest I've ever seen it on my second time on it. I'm so glad they fixed that first drop so your head doesn't snap down everytime. It's so much better. & I didn't even notice the 10 min turnaround. The Demon was actually pleasant through the loops not brutal like it has been. Got a good ride on Vortex too. Flight Deck I always get good rides. I just couldn't believe it! All slides in Jackaroo Landing were open!!! But I wasn't prepared for Boomerang Bay today. Have all the Jackaroo Landing slides been open for days or just for today only? & Why were the 3 big slides closed? They have never been closed all times I have gone. I'm going again in 2 weeks & they better all be still open! I love the slight airtime you get on Whitewater Falls & Loggers Run going over the bump on the hill. I like standing on the bridge to get wetter. But isn't Monsoon Falls at SFDK much wetter both on the boat & bridge? I remember it is. I wish they would get rid of the Spongebob movie in the Action Theater & put something like the Temple movie(I enjoyed that one) & Back To The Future. Those would be alot more cooler. I coaster could fit nicely in the Pictorium. & Where Invertigo was & streching out over the walkway. When will we hear the announcement? It's already end of July & so far nothing.

When I was there one day this year this stupid teen girl flung her hand backwards & hit me right in the chin. Any harder it could have broken a bone. It was in the area of Stealth's station before going up the stairs to the 3 big slides. What a dummie. You don't go flinging your hands like that at a theme park which could smack people right in the face.
