^ Cave of the winds is right outside of Colorado Springs. Pretty much every place South Park puts in exists, and is really accurate. I even went to South Park a couple years ago Casa Bonita is... crap, but you must go once in your life just to get the experience.

Sex-Ed Northwestern University Style

I don't see a problem; they are grown college students and they didn't have to attend if they didn't want to. Still a little bit odd though... -
No, But I once put 3 burritos under a car tire Do you have any irrational fears?

The iPad - Apple's Take On The Tablet Computer

^There are rumors of a WiFi only Xoom, but that's rumored to cost 600 which isn't smart at all on Motorola's side. And the 1st gen iPad is now slashed to 399 -

iPad 2 announced:Here. It's going to have a dual core processor, front and rear cameras, and it's 33% thinner. Same display though. Looks like a solid device especially considering it's keeping the same price. Although I'm not sure I agree Steve Jobs bashing Android and Motorola like he did. He said that HoneyComb has 100 tablet optimized apps, while iPad has 65,000. What he forgot to mention is that iPad has been out for 11 months, Android 3.0 has been out for 6 days. -
Anyone else prefer Vekoma SLC's?

^^^ I gotta agree with you about seat placement being an enormous factor on an SLC. Some seats will be incredibly smooth, while others will beat the living shit out of you. -
Finished the trackwork. After removing the Top Hat and implemented an overbanked turn into a break run, followed by a barrel roll back into the station. The stats on the now completed trackwork: Top height: 165 feet Top speed: 60 MPH Elements: 60 MPH launch into Zero-g roll Zero-G roll Corkscrew Diving Loop Vertical loop Immelmann with hangtime Zero-G roll Barrel Roll. ^That's actually a good idea. But have any of Intamin's inverts been lift-hill powered? I wanna say that they all have been launched so far... -

I've rode Mind Eraser at Elitch Garden's, and B:TR at Magic Mountain. BTR was better, but ME is pretty good too, although it's beginning to get rough in certain seats. -

Me and 3 friends were waiting in line for Chaos at EG. When it was our turn, 2 kids got freaked out and left the line, then they just sat at the exit and watched their friends go. When we got off we ranted and raved about how good it was and how much fun it was and how we think everybody should ride it. The kids then looked kind of sad ^Pretty sure that's against the rules -
Don't you absolutely love it when you try to go to bed early, only to wake up at 2:30am with no hope of falling back asleep? It's wonderful, especially when its the night before forensics regionals...

^ Windows Phone 7 is really cool. My mom got one on T-mobile, I've played with it. It's really easy to use, smooth, and really a pleasant experience.

The iPad - Apple's Take On The Tablet Computer
davisal771 replied to Wes's topic in Random, Random, Random
That's pretty much true now, but this year with the release of Honeycomb, that could change soon. And I've got a 7" Android tablet with the same specs as the iPad (1ghz Cortex A8 processor, 256m RAM, Capacitive multi-touch screen) and that was only 275$ But in any case the iPad 2 is going to be a solid product that many will buy. -

^I'm not so sure the iPad 2 will sell as well as the first unless it brings something new and unexpected to the table. These new Android tablets are going to own it unless it brings some amazing new features. -

^ I'm not so sure on that one, however I have read reviews on products similar to that. The general consensus seems to be that the keyboards are too small to type comfortably on. But then again all the reviews are so critical I wouldn't be sure. -

It's a good idea, but I don't think it will be successful. -
Don't you just hate how people change? In 6th Grade, she had no friends. In 7th grade, she was sat next to me in 5 classes. I talked to her. I brought forth her inner social butterfly. 8th grade, we were best friends. 9th grade, she changes. She ditches all of her old friends for new ones. I miss the old her. I made her.

Can't say I'm not just a little disappointed it's a floorless. I would have liked to see another stand-up. But in any case, It looks amazing! -

Well on Sunday I convinced my mom to make the jump from her 4 year old KRZR to a smartphone. She got the HTC HD7, which has a nice big screen because her eyes aren't the greatest, plus Windows Phone 7 is really easy to use which is great because she isn't very tech savvy. Couldn't imagine her with an Android or even an iPhone. I've been rooting and modding my phone, been changing roms nearly once a week. Loving the Android OS even more than ever
