  1. And a killer clown led it. The clown made it too scary for a four year old to enjoy. And now well over 10 years later I'm still scared to death of them! Are all clowns children of Lucifer?
  2. Your TRs are great and you can see the progression throughout the thread! I like how you always kind of post pics like a story that you can actually follow. You need to do the biggest rides if you don't already. You could get some great on-ride angles if you timed it carefully! P.S.-Coyote. That's how you spell it
  3. Yes...But nobody does so why ask? Have you ever asked a question so stupid you ended it without missing a beat by saying 'nevermind?'
  4. Last night was torrential! What was it like to be hit be rain flying in horizontally at 60 mph on a coaster?
  5. Yes. Is TPR always the first site you visit when you turn on your computer?
  6. ^I'm saying it can't be Superman. But it could very well be Intamin or B&M.
  7. I think it's a SLC (SFWoA and SFDK) or Mr. Freeze still. Two unsuccesful rides might mean Superman the Escape becuase it had technical problems. EDIT: The 777th post in this thread! I think I might be right!
  8. ^I don't think it can be really right, but yeah, it can be done but not on a realistic level. The real ones exit off away from the launch a bit and the overbank would be a bit off. I say Premier Spaghetti bowl (Granted they opened in '99)! But....it is 1998.The Mr. Freezes were actually supposed to open in 1997, but didn't due to technical and power issues and instead opened in 1998.
  9. ^Actually it was relocated quite some time ago (1998) to open at Magic Springs as Big Bad John (2002). It was one of the very first stand ups in North America, I believe it was the second after the EXT at Wof. But they both opened and then later were modified to run as standups. But because the rides weren't designed to handle the trains, the original trains returned the year after for both. One person died on River King, but the ride didn't close until 1987. Does anyone know who made the standup trains? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Edit: ^Beat me to it!
  10. A little something I've been working on....I don't have a name for it yet, Any ideas just at first glance? intamin7fixedbrakes+changed-100811174029002.bmp intamin7fixedbrakes+changed-100811173958001.bmp Who likes this?
  11. Nope. We ran out of 'em a LONG time ago. Do you think that most of the questions in this thread are pointless?
  12. The city museum looked like a boring crappy warehouse that got barfed on by a steel factory, slide complex, armory, and nondescript museum all at once! That looks like great fun...I hope you all enjoyed it! If only I had an string of stamina....
  13. Do you have a Youtube account and can you get it from him for me? I don't have a youtube account, and have no intention of getting one.
  14. So, Dreamworld has it closed for like a month for the change and SFMM will have it closed for almost a year? Looks like they're trying to be ambitious again... mightbe- If they can't get a rollerskater up what chance does Superman have of ever opening in the near future?-awannabe
  15. ^I would think not. They won't need to do as thorough inspections because the steel won't warp or separate (loose nails or something like that). But who knows? I could be completely wrong. haha
  16. ^ Wikipedia says it's Drum Master also < thinks wiki-anything is screwy v Wonders why I checked in the first place.
  17. They're all guys ....Are you sure this isn't a ACE event?
  18. Incident: E stop on a brake run or breakdowns. That sums up the explanation for the article. Also, the timber wolf accident was in 1995 during Hunt-Midwest, not 2005 during Cedar Fair. Bad attempt at an article. I bet Wikipedia has higher standards. ^ You are absolutely right. Who gives a crap about a $5 pair of goggles that you lost? Buy a new pair! Don't die for five dollars, people. Logic! /rant
  19. ^^I would say so. It almost has to be to be a 'Best of 2009.' I've only ridden three GCIs so don't go entirely by me. I'm sure some of the love it's getting in the TR is overdone because of the initial responses from the poll...for the fanboys.
  20. I came across a video of this and I was really saddened by the fact that it was only available on coastersims. Does anybody have it? I know that it's not really anybody's place to distribute it but it's not really accessible anymore. Would it violate a long gone site's terms of service? I for one don't think so.
  21. I am now officially jealous. You went to Lambert's!?!? I love that place! I hope you all had fun!
  22. Ozcat has some...but I think Prowler has more. I last rode Ozcat in '08...So don't quote me on that.
  23. Uhh...Elissa? There are other people on these boards that could know even more about it, but they're not supposed to give it all away. I know that some parks and companies actually do read these boards, if not participate.
  24. I saw the girl who played Hermione at the Animal Kingdom (real name escapes me). No body guards, no escorts or police, just her and two of her friends. At least I think they were friends. They waited in regular lines like regular guests and didn't really stand out too much. Very nice of her not to be a total A$$ to everyone.

    Why?

^I believe it was because that user didn't really comply to the grammar/spelling rule and giving a poor excuse not to use the keyboard in front of him when asked to stop. I don't know for sure though.
