B&M vs Intamin
_Brandon_ replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Intamin has tons more product types, but they are all too similar. By similar I mean all the trains are the exact same style, just a slightly altered appearance. I truly love Intamin, it's a great company and makes great products. However, while B&M's product line is short, the different types that they have all pack an insanely different punch. For example, if you were to replace Fahrenheit's vertical lift train with a Multi-Looper train, the experience would pretty much be the exact same. But say you replaced the Hulk's train with a Floorless or Standup, now you have a totally different experience. Now that B&M is getting into new and unique train designs like the Wingrider, I can easily see them starting to branch out and possibly even start launching. When B&M started, LIMs and LSMs were not around and their trains were too heavy to be launched around, but now with the magnetic power, they can launch those trains in a second. B&Ms are tons more reliable. I have never witnessed a B&M brake down in my life, but I have been on El Toro 3 times during breakdowns. If you look at it this way, there is really no competition. B&M all the way. -

Nerdy request for picture of box track
_Brandon_ replied to stormrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
B&M's box track is made up of 8 right triangles, every 2 form one rectangle. The insides are hollow which creates the extremely loud "B&M Rumble", although in some cases (Like Kraken at SeaWorld), the track is filled with sand to decrease the rides roar. -

I made it. It will be released when its done -
All of the cars we make are going to come on the appropriate track. There is a program made by me and a friend of mine that makes it easier fir beginners to switch cars onto other tracks. Regarding the cheetah hunt, Techno only showed his model but only his nose is being used. The body cars are mine.

Here are more shots of X-Raptor. This ride is setting is in a science experimental factory gone wrong. It was abandoned in fear and now the experiment has broken loose, wreaking havoc throughout the secret lab and destroying all in it's way. The first part I have done (probably the first main themed section) has you dive up a small The turnaround afterwards leads into a small hill with a tad bit of airtime before wrapping you into a twist. This twist has some serious hang time. This part of the queue goes under the track and then turns into the mountains. -

It could but I don't have the models to any of these CTRs. I lost them all in a comp crash.
