I knew some revisions would be in order with this coaster. Hopefully that turns out to be a good thing.

People will think I'm crazy but I can see CP doing a full circuit 400 footer next year.

I do agree they should have done something. I think even offering $49 dollars off of Flash passes for another day, or front of the line passes for Drop Of Doom. This seems to be where SFMM always fails, going above and beyond what guests expect. The current management of this park just don't seem to get it.

^ How is the weather suppose to be tomorrow for the Knotts event? That really sucks (especially for those who travelled to get there). But it's always a possibility that rain can ruin any kind of outdoor event.

I'd love it if turned out to be the tallest inverted top hat element. Those things are insane!

Any time a So-Cal park builds anything with significant airtime (Colossus, Ghostrider, Perilous Plunge, California Screamin), they end up having to neuter it. But there have been attempts in the past. I can only hope that begins to change next year. But I do agree that it is entirely possible to mix inversions in with airtime. Just look at any of the Intamin accelerators, and well...Maverick.

Absolutely! I don't even mind the giant loop thing, I just they squeeze in some other features as well, and some nice pops of air.

Well it's pretty obvious they don't, that's why there was a comma between second and full circuit... Ugh... okay I get it...I'll restate it. Personally I would love a second, "full circuit" launch coaster at SFMM. Much better.

If this rumored ride would be the 2nd, then what ride is the first full circuit launch. Don't say Superman. You misread it. I said second (as in second launch coaster) , full circuit (as in different) launch coaster. There's no way Superman should be the only launch ride representing this park. It's something (other than airtime) I have been wanting since forever!

Personally, I find the idea of a second, full circuit launch coaster at SFMM awesome. I can't wait to hear the specifics.

I hate to say this (cause I feel bad for the park in this case), but if you're going to remove a staple ride and start clearing land a year early, in this day and age you should probably make an early announcement. It's become so difficult to shield information on the internet for long periods of time. If a mechanic knew enough to start babbling his mouth to strangers, chances are other people knew as well.

Well technically they are adding a flat ride as we speak.

Don't most parks have multiple "events" days? Knotts is having "Winter Coaster Solace" the very next day, March 18th. Once again, as long as they don't compare to WCB (which they won't), who cares?

Yep. And that was pre-Six Flags. Just goes to show we can't blame them for everything...

The "actually" was just a figure of speech on my part... The ride did have a single rider line briefly last summer, and we had our best rides on it by using it. It seems now the ride won't spin whether it's unbalanced or not. That was the point I was making. I guess in the end, the GP won't notice the difference...

Actually, we had some VERY unbalanced rides at WCB, and we still did not flip. They have definitely done something to the weight on the cars to control/eliminate the flipping. The ride sucks now, and deserves all the bashing it currently gets.

I'm sorry, but that it one of the best looking elements I have ever seen!

We're also talking about the off season, the park is mostly dead. Talk to me about popularity and short lines in June.

The consensus seems to be that this will be Intamin or Premier, and will be pretty impressive. I can't wait!

I believe it's Goliath, at 4,500ft. Kinda weird when you think about it.
