  1. I love the name, and now that the twisted drop has been hinted at, I love it even more. Most people will still call it Colossus anyway no matter what they put in front of it.
  2. Haha.... Yeah I gave up on the flat ride dream several years ago.
  3. You're worried about a top 10 ride and it hasn't even been announced yet? People never learn.
  4. I'm probably going to be in the minority, but I really like the name Twisted Colossus. And thank the Lord if they are ditching the racing/dueling gimmick. Give me a kick ass RMC Twister, and I'm a happy man.
  5. I see RMC in there, and I also see Steel Twister. lol
  6. Not all of the Six Flags are hyping or teasing their new attractions, certainly not to the extent of SFFT. Let's hope they deliver.
  7. This is how I see it as well. If the park were getting another B&M, I wouldn't be very excited at all, but the combo of RMC and the iconic nature of Colossus makes me look forward to this. Of course if any park could mess this up, it's SFMM.
  8. I have a feeling the Colossus conversion is going to be wild. I can't wait until it's revealed.
  9. Hmmmm... What a relief there is no Iron or Steel in there. Mega Colossus.
  10. Isn't anything possible? Well yes... Haha. I'm just surprised no one else has mentioned the possibility.
  11. Could it be possible that Great Adventure and Fiesta Texas are getting a version of this prototype?
  12. If you've done an RMC inversion you'd know they are awesome. I don't have a problem with inversions on their coasters.
  13. The average guest who posts on Facebook couldn't care less.
  14. Do we think people would suddenly love this ride if SFMM ran it untamed? Because I don't.
  15. I like GL as well, and it is a scary wtf ride. Those drops are truly insane, and I can only imagine how scary the non neutered versions are, holy moly. Wussie ass America could never deal with it.
  16. I've personally never gotten the appeal of most modern day flats. I do like the classic ones from my childhood, but the modern ones seem way over the top in their attempt to mess your stomach up for the rest of the day. And Six Flags? Don't even bother. It'll be a crap shoot to even find them open on a given day. Heck, come to think of it, I couldn't even catch Riptide or Windseeker at Knotts open... ever.
  17. Such a funny thing, opinions on a forum. Everybody wants theirs to go unchallenged (good or bad). But that's just not the way the world works. If you have an opinion, people are going to disagree with it, challenge it and sometimes even ridicule it. It's a normal part of any discussion.
  18. This ride should be just what the doctor ordered for this park. If I were a young guest of this park and looked on the website and saw this I would seriously lose it (in a good way). Such a shame people get so jaded after awhile and and lose that sense of wonder. Congrats to Holiday World. You have officially entered the big leagues with this one.
  19. I think the main question was how the modern day farm themeing played into the story. I think the issue is no one has ever heard of this legend before. I'm a pretty big history buff and never heard mentions of the Thunderbird tribes of the northeastern parts of the US. How would a pilgrim even know what a Thunderbird was if it was isolated in Northwest US/Britich Columbia area indian folklore. Over thinking this just a bit?
  20. A launch is exactly what the Wing rider needed. This looks fantastic.
  21. Oh that poor horse, being beat to death once again. Wow, it really is startling to see Ninja so bare!
  22. Front seat night rides on Ninja just became the most thrilling ride experience in the park!
