  1. Are you talking Great Adventure? Yes.
  2. My most anticipated ride is a Six Flags project that hasn't even been hinted at yet, and I'm shocked it's stayed so under wraps.
  3. Good news, bad news I guess. So happy I can choose my own seat now.
  4. They already do and they don't care. And why should they? The park is doing just fine in the shitty condition it's in. There is absolutely no incentive to do anything differently. Zero.
  5. Go to Knotts or Disney instead, or Cedar Point. Vastly superior parks that are worth your money. Or go to a WCB, where at least you get to be around some great people . Otherwise, avoid SFMM at all costs. I'm not joking when I say this park has gone so downhill to the point that I can't get anyone to go to the park with me anymore. They just don't want to deal with abysmal operations anymore. The park is filthy, hot, rude and rundown.
  6. ^ You perfectly summed up SFMM in your first paragraph. Not an exaggeration at all. In fact, you were being nice. It truly is atrocious.
  7. Disney is open 365 days per year yet excels in ride maintenance and their parks are spotless because they do not accept anything less than excellence. Six Flags is closed about 140 days per year. They do not need more days off. They need better management and more staff. Disneyland also isn't charging $7/month for their premium pass...you can't compare the two. Take SFMM for what it is. It's a terrible park. We love to bitch about it because they deserve it. But it's also only $7/month for a Water Park, Twisted Colossus, and parking. Take it for what it is. Easily the worst park in the country. And by quite a large margin.
  8. An off season could really help. Even if they closed Jan-March it would help. Especially in terms of train maintenance.
  9. I don't get this. If they can take on 4 projects, why couldn't they take on 4 1/2? Cause that would require a whole other team of people working, and November is right during peak construction time on their projects. Don't overestimate the size of RMC as a company. They're expanding, but they're still a pretty small company, without a huge amount of employees. Last I heard, they aren't doing basic retrackings at all anymore. I heard they are focusing on their large projects completely. I'm not sure where November came from. Everything I've heard indicates next year. Apocalypse usually goes down right before spring. IntaMAN claimed Novemeber two pages back. But early spring/ late winter is an even busier time for RMC to do it. I am willing to bet that it will not happen for 2016 at all. It's just an unfounded rumor at this point. It's been spread around the Internet for a while so everybody takes it as fact. Everything I've heard has been speculation, nothing more.

  12. ^^ Their one I-box in Cali , yes. That does not mean they can't topper Apocalypse as well, which would not require any sort of announcement. Besides, it's probably only going to be certain sections of the ride anyway.
  13. ...You buy a flash pass even on dead days just so that you don't have to listen to teenagers all day!
  14. If you're in a Six Flags park, you'll definitely know you're in a Six Flags park.
  15. Man I am obsessed with what RMC is doing. You KK fans are in for a treat. These rides ofter forces I've never felt on a coaster before.
  16. There is no way Goliath cost 30 million. I remember opening day the price was quoted at $14 million.
  17. For me Goliath is a great people eater to help keep the other nearby lines that much shorter. It's also a fun speed coaster when there are no lines or ERT. Front row is the best. The coaster is 15 years old. I enjoy it for what it is.
  18. I think more likely, RMC could only take on 2-3 projects a years as they are still a growing company. Six Flags was smart enough to book them up for several years so it looked like they had exclusivity.
  19. I wouldn't either. But this is SFMM. It's ride or die baby.
