  1. ^ I can see that, but I can also see that will never happen. I still say the solution is to take a look at how SFGadv operates El Toro or even SFMM with X2. No loose articles and quick loading.
  2. ^ Is that true though? Because Scream right next door will not release a train until the train in front of it has crossed the mid course. Tatsu will not release a train until the train in front of it has crossed the break run after the final helix. Talking to Tim at WCB, he said they are looking at a items free platform for 2016.
  3. My friend and I figured out that one train on X2 was much smoother than the other. The train with the newer restraints was giving outstanding rides all night.
  4. X2 was simply breathtaking Saturday night. And Twisted Colossus performed like a champ. Thanks to Rob, Elissa and the SFMM team for an AWESOME event!
  5. Really dude? What is even the point of this, other than to troll?
  6. yeah i saw it here on this link: http://www.myfoxzone.com/story/29960992/new-rides-announced-for-six-flags-over-texas-fiesta-texas . At the end of the Joker's description it says that the "Joker will also include unique features based on its Batman branding. For example, riders will brave "Harley Quinn's Tunnel of Fear," an underground section that will be filled with fog, lighting, and sound effects." I'm just wondering where it's going to placed. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but this sounds more like the queue line theming than something on the actual coaster. Like the Batman:the Ride queue.
  7. All I'll say is, YAY, I'll be going to Maverick while everyone else is running to this! Looks like a fun diver though
  8. I agree that it doesn't matter to me the reason anymore. The fact is the otsr are coming off. It may not be a high thrill coaster anymore, but it will be an awesome mid range coaster for families.
  9. Haha...this made me laugh. BTW, I think TC's pre-lift is great. Not because it does anything really useful, but because it's not a boring straightaway, which on a "steel" coaster is much more noticeable. RMC knows what they're doing.
  10. Full Throttle and Twisted Colossus happened to it.
  11. Are you talking Great Adventure? Yes. Just revisiting some older posts... Just curious, do you still feel the same way? No. I had heard they were getting the larger version.
  12. If there is a Q&A at WCB this week, you can bet they'll be a lot of questions about Revolution. Top questions: 1) Revolution 2) Twisted Colossus racing (or lack thereof). 3) Flat Rides
  13. It could be worse, it could have been named after a can of soda and be called the Red Bull Revolution for the next twenty years. I'd forgotten just how many rides Blackpool had named after drinks at once in the early 2000's Or given it some weird, barely pronounceable animal name.
  14. Haha! So glad to finally put that stupid debate to rest (of have we)? . After The Joker, this may be my favorite SF announcement this year. I haven't been on Revolution in over a decade.
  15. I'm guessing the BIG dragon above will also get a paint job?
  16. Yes, I was right about the EGF-like twisted first drop! This looks incredible, right up there with Steel Medusa and Wicked Cyclone!
  17. Have I died and gone to heaven? Both Revolution AND Ghostrider to be refurbished , and in the same YEAR??? You've got to be kidding me...
  18. The reasoning is more things for families. ..that simple.
  19. I would love to see a steep, twisting first drop like EGF.
  20. Well whatever they do, SFMM fans have no room to complain given the very good ride we got this year. If it's a Super Loop, so be it.
  21. Why would anyone go through all that trouble to release something so beautifully fake with just a few hours before we'd get the real thing anyway? I guess we'll see...lol
  22. So ...Larson Loop announced tomorrow? I can live with that, because despite SF calling it a coaster, we sure could use a new flat or two!
  23. 1) Wicked Cyclone - Is this year's Skyrush for me! With better restraints. I hope the new Roar/Joker is just as insane. 2) Cannibal - Absolutely mind blowing! I wish it was closer to me. 3) Twisted Colossus - Perhaps the weakest of the RMC conversions I've been on, but the best coaster on the west coast, and still one of my favorites in the country. When it manages to actually race, it's glorious.
