The Official "VirtuTPR" Thread
braztaz replied to braztaz's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Sure. Someone asked earlier about this but I guess they didn't pull through with it. Although RCT3 isn't quite as popular as RCT2 around these forums, what have you got to lose, right? AAlso, I just went through the thread and added some stuff I missed. Check the first post to see if there's anything missing that you've submitted. I still feel like this is a good idea for teh forums and that we shouldn't let it die. -

Kings Dominion from 95 doesn't do much for me. But that picture from 30....wow! I gotta try that next time! -

Just wanted to bring this back up. I was about to post a new topic about skylines, but I was a good little boy and used the search function My personal input on this topic is, yes, Cedar Point. My first trip I was just waiting and waiting to see my first glance, but time passed by so slowly as we kept going through all these roads that seemed to never end... finally, everything opens up and you see the skyline in all it's glory. Millennium Force, in my opinion, is the most massive looking from the causeway. I also love seeing people's reactions to it when they see it for the first time. My parents were in shock. -

@Dmaxs: No problem, I understand fall is a busy time for many people. But I owe it all to you; after I previewed the park to you, things just kinda turned around for me- I realized I hadn't been thinking the mind of a real RCT2 park maker. I used to be "Wow, this is the best ever!" and I wouldn't keep my mind open to what other people might think before I released it. I used to improve a little, then stick with that for a while, then improve a little...Now, I realize how my Holiday Thrills parks were so unpopular; even the beginnings of this park. I started thinking "That's good, but I need to get better" for every update, and I would spend more and more time on each section. Started paying attention to details, etc...but I'm not going on saying that I'm all so great, either. I have MUCH more to improve on and if I start thinking the way I used to, well things won't turn out so great in the end. So a huge thank-you to you for turning this all around in my head, as really- I owe it all to you. @Djbrace & Mastersax: Thanks so much, guys! --- I'm going to release my plans as a parkmarker to everyone as well. I will finish up the timeline to 2010 (by then, the park will seem a little more complete and full). After then, no I'm not ending the park, I'll just be dropping the timeline. Updates will become more scarce as by then I'll be going back and redoing the things I feel need improving; a few days ago I started on the parking lot, which has been just a big block of concrete until then. After a few months of rebuilding this and that...I'm gonna take a big leap to NE. No, I won't be submitting my park...though I do hope to do that in the future. (My big problem is B&M supports. They always take up so many slots in the scenery that I always chose to not use them) But I will advertise it on the forums and get some advice over there, work on some details, and then maybe finally submit this. But to get that far, I need every single one of you all's opinions. What you don't like, what you do...etc. You have been tremendously supportive so far and I gotta give a big thanks. So this wasn't really an update, but it kind of was, and I still need some of your guys' opinions on what I should and shouldn't do if I wanna get the guys over at NE to nod their heads. If you have anything to say, shout it out, as I'll be more than glad to hear it. -

So I'm testing out RCT2 Modified. I'm sure that it'll help me tremendously, but I don't want my game to stay a SV7 file permanently, after everything is said and done can I uninstall RCT2 modified to switch it back to SV6? Or does it not work that way? -

TWO-YEAR UPDATE: Part 1 of GG's "Three Year Millennium Expansion Plan" Hello, all. After the massive success of Blue Abyss, the park's officials realized they were on the right track to becoming one of the best world-class theme parks out there. If they continued to develop and construct rides the public would only dreamed of riding before, then tourists from all over the nation would give them a visit. The three-year plan will help contribute to that in every way possible, by reconstructing the park's atmosphere with kid rides, thrill rides, and more. Each year (2000, 2001, 2002). This post will cover the additions that took place in 2000 and 2001- the years before the largest investment Grand Grove made in it's history of nearly 25 years. (Although it was SBNO for 10 of those!) 2000: "Ultima Kid Land!" This new just-for-kids area is bound to bring the families in. With a Frog Hopper, "Crazy Feet" (Fun/Crooked House), and the "Ultimate Kid Land"...what kid wouldn't want to pay them a visit? The large building that overlooks the area is similar to a Chuck-E-Cheese- except it's free! (With admission to the park, of course!) It holds ball pits, arcade games, you name it, everything and anything there is to keep your child busy. The area also is overlooked by "Blue Abyss" which will provide you with some amazing views. "Little Rover" is a junior coaster that provides "thrills" for those younger ones. With this ride, it makes the total GG roller coaster count at 5- not too shabby! And now, year 2... 2001: "Expedition Fear" Just across the plaza/entrance to the kid section, the 2001 additions gives thrills with fire, water, and jungle effects you won't get anywhere else! "Expedition Fear" is a Top-Spin exploring it's way into Grand Grove in 2001. Pick up your souvenirs next to the entrance ("Expedition Fear: I survived!" T-Shirts) and make sure you give it multiple visits, for it packs a lot of thrills in a little ride. Spectators can watch from afar as their family and friends face their fears. 2001 Grand Grove, Kingstree, SC And now, I have this question for you... What do you think the new ride for 2003 will be? -
