Hey guys, just got back from Coasters in the dark, and I took some photos as well! Sky Screamer is a lot of fun, but I was a little disappointed because it wasn't as thrilling as I thought, but you still be one heck of a view thought, its a great addition to the park! The band that they had there was pretty good, no vocals though. So, on the a photos: Hello Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! And this is why im here today No Roar today After what seemed like months of watching this ride being built, I finally get to ride! If you don't know what a star flyer is its simple, first you go up really high(Well, only 150ft on this one) And then you spin, fast Sky Screamers Que also has some great photo ops of medusa As well as some of the other rides Time for some Medusa, will THREE train operation! Well, it was actually 2 train operation since one of the trains was usually dispatched with no rides on it. But this is were the third train stops so you get a nice, hard slam into the brakes( They were stacking really bad) And of course Sky Screamer broke down. ( Did I mention that there were TPR members on it when it broke?) Ewww.. are you sure this is the que for Sky Screamer, there's trash every where! (There really was!) "Hey guys?! Where here too you know!" To sum things up Medusa was running well, cobra got some updates, and Sky Screamer gets 2 thumbs up from me! Thanks Discovery Kingdom for an awesome time!

Hopefully, I can't go to the park right after school and get my fix on some of the other rides that won't be open for coasters in the dark. See you there!

This is awesome, thanks for posting! I really like the landscaping around the ride and it looks like you get some great photo ops of Medusa while waiting in line.

I just remembered a few more- Girl on a tram at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom: "Man, we should of gone to Great America! I think their rides are taller and faster and its cheaper to!" In line for in Invertigo at California's Great America- Kid1: "This ride is the same a the boomerang at Six Flags only your not hanging." Kid2: "I think Six Flags Copied" Me: "Six Flags didn't copy, these ride are made by the same people." Kid2: "Yeah but they still copied" Walking around at CGA- Person1: "Did you see all those rides they are powered by tires?!" Person2: "Yeah, that's so stupid, they probably have to replaces them like, every day!

On super man ultimate flight at six flags great adventure, right when the ride was over, the guy siting next to me said: "I thought you were dead, you didn't make a sound!" Me: "Well, Ive been on a taller and faster flying coaster called tatsu, which made the ride kind of boring" Guy: " Were is that?" Me: "Six Flags Magic Mountain, in California" Guy: "Well, that ride has to be scary if its named after a mountain!" How can that guy get the name of the ride, mixed up with the name of the park if I just the what they were less then a minute ago? In line for V2 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom: Guy in line next me " You know, this ride used to twist up but they had to change it.." At this point I was kind of happy because I though he was going to tell the truth about that and not the " The engineers messed up the ride" story, but then he finished his sentence. "..because some one fell out" Oh boy... In line for Goliath a Six Flags Magic Mountain: Lady with small child: " Does this ride go up side down? Because do not want my son going on a ride that goes up side down!" But yet you will let him go on a 255ft, 85 mph hyper coaster?

Intamin, manly because most of the coasters in my top 10 are Intamins. And there ride just keep geting crazier and crazier. there are some B&M's I really like but most of them are 1990-2000 B&M's with the exepation of Tatsu. I live pretty close to a few parks- Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (I call this my official home park since its the closest) California's Great America Santa Cruz beach board Walk Gillroy Gardens( Although Ive never been there) And if you count SBNO, J's Amusement park( I haven't been there though) I don't think any of those parks are my favorite, but I thing SCBW and SFDK are pretty close.

^I would see it better on Under Taker, or what ever this new project is going to be.

If you are talking about that grass hill, I remember that just being a big lump of dirt last time I went. If you are talking about Sky Screamer, its turning out great! I can't wait

Im just wondering how Eagles Forrest went from the top 3. to the 10 or lower category, does any one know?

Im a little disappointed about "Coasters in the dark" this year because the park just told me on the facebook that only the rides in Oasis Plaza for the event. I remember the Roar area being open as well, but that's OK. I'm still really excited for this event!

Im a Star Flyer Virgin my self but the normal visions seem more thrilling to me because your held on by tiny little chains instead of a big, metal poll. Sky Screamer will be my first as we so I will just have to wait until I can't see if that is the case!

Wow, I didn't know that this park even had a discussion thread until now! Sky Screamer is looking great! I drove by the park yesterday and it looked completed, and it looks like they are testing it to according to there facebook page. I took a couple pictures of the rides tower on the way: Under Medusa's first drop I can't wait until opening day!

You know, I don't thing the stupid corporate neighbors know how important CGA is! There are so many jobs created from the park and it helps out the neighboring business, and all they care about are them self's! But on a lighter note, are there any predictions on whats to happen with the new clear space from Invertigo? I will be happy if its a new ride in general, but will be all most dieing happy if its a new coaster! Even a kiddy coaster.

Ive only have been on 2 Schwarzkopf loopers my self, and both of them were good! I can wait to ride number 3 this summer!
