There really isn't a ton of places right next to Great Adventure. I remember there being a Days Inn about 10-15 minutes from the park. From what I remember it was pretty decent, but the last time I stayed there was in 2005. Also if you wanted to meet up, A day trip to Great Adventure is always possible for me. I can help you navigate the park so theres no need for flash pass! =]

Very true! When I went to the park for the first time in probably 8 or 9 years for WCB 2012, then the day after Knott's we went back to SFMM to get a few more rides in and it was a night and day difference! The ERT was amazing!

^ Strange. Every time I ride this ride I find a little bit of floater air on a few hills. Maybe you just rode it on an off day.

While my favorite is always changing, I will normally always go for Taco Bell, Wendy's, Sonic, or Burger King!

For the past few days its been pretty rainy. Thankfully it's been in the mid to low 50's which is much warmer then it has been!

I personally think this is such a stupid reason for someone to get arrested. If the area is blocked off and there are no trespassing signs everywhere then ok. But if the beach is "open" with no signs then this is stupid. While this defiantly isn't safe by any means, I feel like people/police should be more worried about looters and vandals then someone climbing to the top of a coaster and placing an american flag. EDIT: Ops didn't see that error! I guess that's what happens when you don't sleep then respond to something. =P

For the past two years i've been praying for this park to get a drop tower and i'm wicked excited its finally happening! Hopefully I can make my way back there this season! If Flying Turns opens, this will be a must hit park for me next year!

The first time I went on it I waited at the turn before the ramp thinking that it was going to be a 20-30 minute wait. Man was I wrong! I'm glad I had the chance to ride it, but I really wish it was being moved to a smaller park instead of being scraped.

Mine will most likely be something at SFNE, depending on when I can stop working and go on a ride!

I'm happy I got the credit this past season! Roller Soaker was indeed an interesting ride. Also it was the one and only ride I have ever gotten kicked off for being to big when I rode it in the same seat a few hours before. Oh well its been real!

Remedy- Little Boots I LOVE this song! This used to be one of my favorite songs when me and my ex broke up. =]

Less intense? Hm. We must have ridden different slingshots/shot towers. From my experience, slingshots are much, much, much more intense. Guess so. The three slingshots i've been on are no where close to intense as any shot tower i've been on. Looks like you need to get on some new ones. =P

^Well in the parks defense, that is supposed to be themeing for the new coaster. It's not like they were like, oh were just not gonna take this part of the ride out. There is a reason behind it.

It's a less intense version of a S&S shot tower except you flip.

^ I think the "rust" is really the wooden blocks on it and under it.

I mean it might be possible that the ferris wheel would be relocated if its not rotted beyond repair. Its true that there are a few ferris wheels up for sale, but are there any 150ft models for sale pretty cheap? If not, there are a few major parks that could use one. =]
