  1. Wildcat at Lake Compounce. The last time I rode that thing I really thought I was going to break my back.
  2. According to this video, the area above the track didn't have a roof, but the load and unload area were covered. You can see what I mean towards the end of the video. I'm not sure if it was changed or not later on during its life because the video is from 1996.
  3. I love the fact that a bunch of parks are being preposed for Texas! Texas is much easier to reach then Dubai!
  4. So true! Some of the worst that I personally have issues with are Skyrush (Circa 2012), Riddler's Revenge, and Magnum. Skyrush- Way to small and I hated the fact that you entered and exited on the same side of the station. Makes for horrible loading and unloading times. Riddles- I'm personally not a fan of the diagonal loading rows. Magnum- while the station looks cool, I think its just too big and cause a big mess if a bunch of people are let in.
  5. Dam how did I miss that! Looks like i need to head back to SFMM to ride 11 story, 50mph tilt-a-whirl! I just hope it's water that get the guests wet.
  6. Give me a ride with tons of forces rather than a forceless ride any day. I love being tossed around!
  7. Don't scream at employees when you don't follow the rules and don't get what you want. Making a scene won't make things better for you and only makes you look crazy to other park guests. Stay calm and everything will be ok.
  8. I totally agree. I personally thought that it was one of the best coasters there. At the same time I really wasn't a fan of the park so that isn't saying much.
  9. Not gonna lie, The Smiler kind of freaks me out a little bit. It's that creepy music and the promos they had for it that did the trick.
  10. Out of the ones I have been on... Mondial Cedar Point Knott's Funtime Great Adventure Fiesta Texas Over Texas St. Louis I honestly would say that I do enjoy Funtime more. I feel like Funtime provides more thrills with the chains and the seatbelt only restraints.
  11. This ride looks wicked awesome! I can't wait to head over to Vegas after it opens. Thanks for the update!
  12. I'm pretty sure its just the track. When they built El Toro, I remember them cutting the supports. I could be completely wrong though because it is a different manufacture.
  13. Only other place I could see that happening is Mt. Olympus. In fact, I feel like I have seen that there. I did too! I think it's crazy how people and their parents allow things like that to happen.
  14. That GIB looks beautiful! It really makes me miss my Goliath at SFNE.
  15. ^If you go to SFNE let me know! I'll give you the grand tour!
  16. ^ Yikes! I can't believe they allow it to operate with missing planes.
  17. It really is one of the most beautiful and photogenic woodies I've ever seen, I'll definitely give it that, it looks fantastic. I figured I might as well share this photo I took of Mean Streak in October, it really is a beautiful ride! I personally think Mean Streak isn't that horrible of a ride...when its trimless. I've had a few trimless rides on it and it can really be an awesome ride!
  18. Definitely -SFNE (Home Park) -SFGAdv -Canobie -Lake Compounce -SFGAm -Kings Island* -Holiday World* -Beech Bend* -Indiana Beach* -Kentucky Kingdom* -Luna Park* Hopefully -Kings Dominion* -Busch Gardens Europe* -Funtown Splashtown* -LaRonde* -Quassy* *=New Park
  19. I'm glad that this thing is finally going vertical! I'm so pumped to see follow the construction of it. =D Sorry if i've missed this but does anyone know if all the footers are put into place? or do they still have a few left?
  20. I try to stay at bare minimum when I go to parks. All I bring is... -My wallet -Cash & Credit Cards -ID -Iphone -Keys (Only if i'm driving) -Chapstick There really isn't much a need for anything else unless I plan on doing some filming or going to a water park. If either of those happen, I end up just bringing a small bag and buy a all day locker to keep stuff safe.
  21. Wow! This coaster looks like its going to be amazing! Thanks for the update and welcome! =D
  22. Boomerang? Flashback @ SFNE 2002 Invertigo? Stinger @ Dorney Park 2012 G.I.B.? Goliath @ SFNE 2012 SLC? Mind Eraser @ SFNE 2002 Flying Dutchman? Batwing @ SFA 2005 Roller Skater? Road Runner Express @ SFMM 2012 God I've been on too many clones...
  23. Sorry i'm a little late on this but WOW! This park seems like it's going to be amazing! Here are my thoughts on it... Lightning Run, while it's on the shorter side, looks like it's going to have an amazing layout and some very nice pops of air. I'm also glad it's not a huge coaster because now this ride won't only attract thrill seekers, but families as well. I wouldn't be surprised if this had a 48 inch height requirement. Now here's my input on the drop tower discussion. Personally, I'm glad they are adding it to the general re-opening of the park. Are some people going to make a fuss about it? I wouldn't doubt it... Would it get blow way more out of proportion if the park added at as the single new thrill ride of the 20__ season? YES! I like how the park is semi discreetly announcing the attraction by covering it by a new coaster and the water park expansion. Also, I like how they really have no shame by basically saying, this isn't the same type of drop tower and the state has been allowing guests to ride this type of tower for years. The water park expansion looks pretty solid and I can't wait to try out some of those slides this summer. I think the thing i'm the most excited for in this is the triple drop body speed slide. I've always wanted to try one. And for the flyers... I mean who doesn't love flyers? =P This announcement just made me so happy I already signed up for the Mini New Hotness Tour!
  24. An up charge attraction is now a high risk ride? The money is for insurance purposes? Lol I'm just going to leave this alone. Lol
