What is your local park?

I live in Dallas (Plano to be exact), and I guess Six Flags Over Texas would be my home park which is about 45 min away. Though I live closer to Sandy Lake Park which is about 15 min. My true HOME park would be Thorpe Park since I was born in Uxbridge,UK. But I only lived there until I was four. (I wished I still lived there!) -

I was at the park yesterday and managed to get a couple of okay pics. I do have a HD construction video that I will post sometime later today or tomorrow. But here are the pics that I have right now: This is what you see from the parking lot! More awesomeness! Epic Yea Blue!!! Sexy! The chain is now on the whole lift People and cranes where on the second over banked turn Pretty nice looking! Looks like they were using the No Limits animation for advertisement. Hope to update you withe the video shortly!

^ The flash pass entrance has always seemed like it's been in a good place for me (right in front of the stairs like most other flash pass lines.) Unless they build a completely different queue that dumps them into the station like Kingda Ka or like any Batman: The Ride.

Okay thanks for explaining about that Robb. Iv'e kind of always been confused with this whole ordeal about "Loose articles and Cameras". I always thought that they would be okay as long as it's not a loose article. I do think that I remember seeing the "No video equipment on this ride" thing on the ride warning signs.

Do clear it up, did they say that Six Flags will start testing during Jan? Or will they start during Holiday in The Park?

^ Sweet! Nice Pics!! I'm probably going to be at the park everyday over the winter break now Can't wait to see the progress since I haven't been there since Fright Fest. I might do a full video trip report walk through thing at night and maybe a video construction report. But first... midterms I still hope that they will extend the queue into the middle of the ride like Mean Streak, but they would probably have to since it is so short. That would call for some sweet offride vids!

^ It still sometimes confuses me on what is a loose article. Glasses and hats are still loose articles. Even if they advise you to secure, they cant force you too (at least glasses.) But they still can fly off and hit someone with the same chance as someone with a camera. I mean with technology these days, would some cameras even be considered as a loose article? Would this be considered as a loose article?

Ugh... this this is kind of tough. Probably a toss up between Deja Vu and Minder Eraser (Elitch Gardens). I was surprised how much smoother ME at EG was compared to other Suspended Looping Coasters IMO. Here's a Offride Vid at the one at EG. -
^ Sweet! I can't wait to go in a couple of weeks again On the side note, has anyone ever heard about when it is going to open. I would think in March (for spring break) but I'm not sure. I don't know if this has been discussed before.

What kind of videos do you pefer to watch and why?

Let me rewrite that by saying that it is pretty tough to keep a camera steady (Like you said). I have had great luck with the GoPro camera latley with the chest mount. I have been givin premission at SFMM, SFOT, and even most of the rides at Knotts.

^ Yea I always thought that helix was okay since there was no extreme forces on it, but It has always seemed weird. Thanks for the complements
