  3. I remember seeing him on Undercover Boss. Seemed like a genuine person.
  4. Could be for any of those reasons or more. Nothing to be alarmed about.
  5. tem·pest ˈtempəst/ noun a violent windy storm. synonyms: storm, gale, hurricane; More
  6. No. LIM holding break on V2 hasn't worked in about 8 years.
  7. SO FAR, It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.
  8. I can't speak on Hypersonic but I know that Paramount had agreed to purchase 3 Flying Dutchmans from Vekoma but once Stealth started having extended downtimes they backed out of the deal and SF purchased the remaining 2 that were in already in production from Vekoma. They ended up at SFWoA (X-Flight, now Firehawk @ KI) and SFA (Batwing). This is what I was told from my friend's father who was a higher up at Paramount.
  9. To avoid parking fees, Bay Bridge Toll fees, and traffic all in one fell swoop, my recommendation is to hop on a "Daly City" BART train @ the Fremont station (Approx 30 min drive from your Hilton Garden Inn Cupertino) and take all the way to Powell St. station in SF. Fare will be around $6 each way. Then, hop on the cable cars (Just outside BART station) to the wharf which is approx $5 each way or you can buy a "Day Pass" for $13 which also includes buses and street cars down by the Wharf/Pier 39. I try to avoid driving into SF as much as possible thus why I heavily rely on BART when I visit.
  10. Zierer manufacturing the trains?
  11. Are you driving from Vegas to SF or Flying and then renting a car? Also, Where are you staying?
  12. Things don't always look like the animations/concept art.
  13. ^Agreed. ^^There's no doubting that Tempesto is not anywhere near the same scale as Fury HOWEVER there's nothing wrong with advertising and hyping up your attraction. SF is marketing Larson Super Loops for god sakes!! I understand the company is going through restructuring but you would think they would (Maybe they have?) include funds for advertising in overall project budgeting. Any BGW locals seen billboards or any type of advertising for Tempesto?
  14. Would've helped if I clarified. Sorry about that. That was meant for the original poster. All of information you log is spot on with what I've experienced in my operator/lead experience at KBF and now DLR.
  15. What "logs" are you referring to? Ride downtimes? Maintenance?
